This would be a 5 star product for me if it wasn't for the horrendous programming they have setup to work with the PS4. The remote constantly powers off the system even when you have it set not to. This should be an easy fix for the programmers and it's been a long time complaint if you search Logitech help forums, so apparently they just don't care to fix it :( But besides that, I have to say this is a great product.

I caught this on sale for $99. I also have the elite in another room. I really like not having the screen and the simplicity of the hard buttons. I have the hub at the back of the room pointing toward the equipment and it works perfectly. The elite is nice and does much more but I often find myself hitting buttons on the touch screen unintentionally. remember the old acronym KISS! This remote does it well. It's also small and has a watch battery. We will see how long it lasts.

This thing is awesome! I haven't had any problems at all. I read some reviews where people didn't like the app on the phone. To be honest I use the app every now and then. We primarily use the remote that came with it. Love the fact that we can be sitting at the dinner table and just tap the volume button and it works... No more straining to trying to get the remote to see the tv. Going to bed, press one button, everything turns off. Get home from work press one button for whatever I want to do, everything turns on.

Works well with sony tv and fire tv. Some lag on fire TV.

Very easy to set up and use. Works great with Alexa for voice control. Can also use the app or included remote.

Pros: main control is my phone/tablet, harmony app is decent, controls A LOT of devices Cons: switching between multiple hubs in app can be a pain sometimes (wish it would not automatically sign into last used hub)

I really do love only having one remote for everything and it's great to set up activities with it. I have "watch movie", "watch tv", and "listen to music" set up. When it works, it's great because it turns off and on everything I need for those specific activities. When it doesn't work, it's annoying though. Once in a while something won't turn on in an activity and I've had to go and hunt for that specific remote to turn on the component that didn't turn on. Well this wasn't very intuitive but while fumbling around in the app, I noticed in the 3 lined menu a command to "fix activity". When something doesn't turn on, I go in there and run that command. It then has the option to turn on the component that didn't turn on. After doing so, the activity works again. It's not often but once in a while it happens and it's annoying. Also, my Emotiva Fusion 8100 receiver had a hard time switching inputs. If you have that receiver and this remote, google it. There is a fix and it was a huge relief to find that.

I've been a long-time Harmony remote user (latest was the Harmony One), and have always appreciated how easy it was to control multiple devices via "Activities", as well as the remote's learning capabilities. Our current Harmony remote was getting worse at holding a charge, so I went Harmony shopping again. But I felt the latest similar models were too expensive ($200+), so I decided to try the Smart Control. The instructions said the device should be in the tv cabinet and to use the extra IR blaster to reach the TV and other components. It only includes one extra blaster, which I didn't think would be enough for our setup, so I put the device on a shelf behind our sofa, and it works great. It has been controlling our devices without issue. My only complaint is that the included remote has fewer buttons than previous Harmony remotes. Sure, you can use your phone or tablet to control it, but I prefer the included remote; it's easier to just pick that up and do stuff than to take out the phone and open the app. So next time, I'd like to see Harmony include separate channel and page up/down buttons, and well as separate fast forward/rewind and next/previous chapter buttons. But overall, it's a good product, and my best Harmony experience to date.

Very difficult to program- instructions written for high level of expertise! Have not been able to create fully functional remote (have to use other remotes for some functions) i.e.. getting smart Tv functions to work with just this remote hasn't been possible. Satisfied with the functions that do work (basic TV,on/ off, DVR)

Best part of this is the hub! Allows for google home control. Linking in the app did not work for me on my Android phone when I tried. Called tech support and luckily for them we also have an iPhone in the house which worked immediately. They are aware of the bug and stated they were working on a fix. Surprising reach-ability to other IR devices even without the IR repeater included. No more searching for remotes my 2 year old hides!

Very handy and works as expected. Best affordable set for home automation. And love how I can now control PS3 with my iPhone. Also love Bestbuy price matching with Amazon. Bought this at 50%.

Using the Harmony Hub , MyHarmony Windows application, Amazon Echo and IFTTT, I'm able to control my entertainment system with voice (e.g., "Alexa, trigger watch TV"). I haven't used the included remote yet.

The best universal remote control that i've found so far. Now i dont have to worry looking for remote to control my electronic devices at home, as i can use my smartphone (iOs or android) to control them. We can set up as many smartphone as we want. So far i've set up 3 smartphone and 3 iPad to control electric devices (tv, cable box, air conditioner) at home.

I bought this Harmony to consolidate some controls at home and it is really good and better if you get a deal like I did. I grabbed this control for 68 dollars in a special and I am really pleased, I also linked the harmony with my google home and it’s really useful. If you happen to see a deal GO for it!

Harmony Hub with remote is an excellent for home automation. If you have Google Home or Alexa, it works really nicely with them. Setup was really easy and intuitive. The best part about this hub is that you can schedule your activities like turning your TV on everyday morning for 7'0clcok CBS news, turn it off automatically at certain time after the TV is on. The only downside is that it only allows 8 devices per hub. But that should be plenty to work with.

The remote is basic but it works well with my TV, Roku stick and Apple TV4. Love the hub integration with Google Home so that I can shout at it to control the TV. I also like to set up activities and channel integration with Roku. Love that I can turn on TV and the Netflix or DirecTV NOW channel starts with Roku.

We got this remote to control things (receiver, TV, Netflix, Firestick, gaming consoles) and in general, it works well once everything is hooked up. However, if you have to change hookups or inputs, Alexa will balk. In general, Harmony makes an excellent remote - I'm pretty sure the persnickityness is Alexa's.

Works will all devices. The emitter is strong and can be viewed by all devices. Some issues with remote not being responsive.

It works flawlessly. Best part is if you loose or break the remote you have your phone. Can adjust settings without using a computer interface. My favorite because I have a complicated macro setup for my system and this does it for me. I just wish the illuminated version of this remote wasnt so expensive. But still a good buy for HARMONY lovers.
