Its would be a little difficult to set up for the less tech savvy, but once its up and running it works great.

I purchased this remote when I saw it was on sale and also because I needed a new universal remote to control all of my electronics instead of having a million remotes to control them all. The setup was super easy. Connect to your home wi-fi, select what device you want to set up it searches for it and you tell it what inputs they're on and bam. It's also cool you can use your smartphone as a remote too. This remote is everything, get it with confidence !!!

I purchased this remote system to integrate with my Google Home. It was very easy to setup and install. I setup multiple modes in about 30 minutes. After all of the modes were setup they were easy to setup with Google Home. Google Home does not always recognize the commands because you have to tell Google home to tell Harmony to do the command. But, everyone in my family is able to use it and it saves a lot of time and frustration.

Excellent way to get all your remotes together. Just enter the device manufacturer and model number and it finds all the remote functions for it. Set up functions on remote to turn on tv, set to input 1, turn on receiver set to dvr, turn on dvr set to recorded tv in one button. Easy to set up, download the app for iPhone and android too! I like it!

The hub is capable of controlling a lot of devices and the Harmony Activities are still the best way to approach a universal remote. The downside with the hub is the physical remote is limited and doesn't have the Help feature which is important for correcting problems when the activity doesn't start correctly. The app is nice, but I miss the tactile buttons which makes it hard to operate without looking at the screen. This means you have to look at the TV to see where to navigate, then look at your phone to see where to press for up, down, left, right, then look back at your TV to make sure you're in the right spot, and back at the phone to hit OK. Harmony tries to get around this with the gestures options on the app, but it means learning the gestures. Overall, very capable if you're willing to invest some time, but frustrating for less techie users.

If you're in the market for a universal remote but aren't on the lookout for something that is $200 or even $300+, this is the remote for you. Using the mobile wizard to pair all your devices is very simple and programming your favorite activities gets you started in less than 10 minutes. The smart remote is very convenient for navigating the cable/sat box guide/menu, changing the channel and volume, and other quick tasks. Beyond that, if you want (and I seldom do), the mobile app gives you advanced control over your devices. It can be a hassle to use because you have to constantly navigate different pages of buttons to do everything you might want, but the "favorites" I set for my cable/sat box is very convenient. Additionally, I have a tablet I set near my TV that is used as a remote, but otherwise you have to get your phone out, unlock it, use the app, etc, etc. Stick to the simple remote, it's definitely sufficient.

I bought this remote as a replacement to my older Harmony One Remote. I have 5 devices that I was able to transfer over to the new remote. Setup took me about an hour and was a little cumbersome. I liked that I could do everything from the app on my iPhone. This made testing the configuration easier. Overall, once I got the setup and the hub placement correct in my cabinet, it worked great. Really easy to use and it does everything that I need it to do.

I purchased this because Beat Buy had it on sale and it included the hub. I have several automated devices setup in my house and this remote helps controls them all and is especially useful when I want to watch a movie. I can dim the lights and turn on the tv, DVD player, and my avr all with a touch of a button. There are other models more expensive than this particular model but I have been pleasantly surprised with its functionality and usefulness.

Have components in different room from television. Never any issues. Downloaded app and it works well. BAsic screen but works!!!

I bought this to tie in with my Amazon Echo and it is better than I expected. Its fairly easy to set up and with it I can control my TVs and other electronics. The Harmony remote is great because I don't need all the remotes I had lying around which makes everything simple. I recommend it highly if you have an echo.

The remote has worked well with my tv, soundbar, roku, and dvd player. No lag time on functions, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly smart remote for all your devices.

certainly works trough cabinets and walls...I put in the closet all my staff (cable box , stereo receiver.DVD player) and everything is control from the living room trough the WI FI...

The remote is relatively easy to set up and use. However, the best feature is the ability to use an app on your phone to control the TV. The remote is good if easily reachable, but with kids in the house, the remote can sometimes disappear. Having the mobile app helps keep that issue to a minimum!

I have two Harmony Ultimate remotes and two Harmony smart remotes in my household. The Smart is great for satellite setups with a couple of devices. I like the easy setup via the laptop application. The remote has a high dollar solid feel in your hand with a reasonable price point. I'm using it to control a Samsung Tv and an apple tv. Easy setup and very similar controls to my ultimate which makes it easy for family members.

My challenge was to get the tv to work in the bedroom when the only cable outlet is in the living without opening walls or running cable up, down and all around. I purchased a wireless transmitter which worked for the signal but I couldn’t control the tv in the bedroom until I bought this remote-no more getting up to change the channel, volume or turning the tv off. Definitely spend the $ to have the Geek Squad set up the remote!

I got tired of searching for the remote because my boyfriend can't seem to put it back where it belongs, also because it is universal and I don't have to have a bunch of remotes laying around. Works great.

I already own and love the Logitech 1100, but since buying the Echo Dot and discovering the Logitech smart control works with the Echo it became a must have. It didn't disappoint! Not only was I able to seamlessly copy the activities from the 1100 to this unit, but now pushing buttons is not even necessary. All I do is ask the Echo to "watch tv", change the channel", turn on my blu ray, etc. and it's done. Great buy and I got it on sale.

Works great with smart things. The only problem I have is getting it to work with Nvidia shield some times.

This is a good remote, but wish it had a back lit screen, hard to see in the dark. Otherwise it works well.

After having purchased my first one, I cant see ever going back to an old school universal. I dont even use my phone with this, the remote works and integration with all my AV equipment is flawless
