I wouldn't recommend using ONLY this for your main control unless all you have is a basic system. i.e a cable/satellite box and a TV, maybe a media player like an AppleTV... If you have a full system including gaming systems, BluRay players, media Players, AV receivers, etc.. I'd go with the Elite model with the built-in touchscreen, else you'll find yourself pulling out your smartphone and using the sync'd Harmony App quite often. Yea, this is no big deal, the app is great... but get real people, it is NOT convenient using your smartphone as a full time remote. Don't fool yourself - the majority of us like to feel actual hard buttons and don't want to look down on our smartphones every time we want to push a "button."

I purchased this item with somewhat low expectations but was pleasantly surprised at how it performs. Would recommend this purchase easily.

Why push buttons when you can just tell Alexa to turn on your devices? This is a great remote that works seamlessly with Amazon Alexa to control your other devices. It's very easy to set up and I'm sure I haven't used half of the device's capabilities.

I'm controlling a Receiver, TV, DirecTV, Apple TV, Roku, and DVD player with one remote. The device will support up to 6 inputs. It looks like it would only support 3 inputs, but if you hold one of the three inputs down for a few seconds, it performs a second function. One button turns everything off. One button on. One button off. One remote. The remote resembles my DirectTV remote and the keys are mapped logically, so I can control the DVR, pause, FF, volume, etc. I use arrow keys to control the Roku and Apple TV. The only use for any other remote is to use SIRI for searching. I have the remote app installed on my iPhone and iPad. This is nice when the remote is not in easy reach. You'll have to do quite a bit of setup to make this all work. Setting up each device is a little tedious, configuring, testing, etc, but I had all 4 devices working correctly in about an hour. They make it pretty easy if you consider how complicated this is under the hood. The hardest part was identifying the exact model number of my 10 year old DVD player. If you don't like to read directions and fuss around with the configuration, you should not buy this product. Once it was set up it backed everything up online. Now we just use it. The other remotes are in a pile is gathering dust,

This is now the third unit I've bought. I have a remote set up on each of my TV areas. I bought this one for my parents because of how easy it is to set up.

I really like what Logitech is done with these remotes. The remote will work from anywhere (no line of sight needed) and is very versatile with what it can do. Upgrades come over software, which means that you don't have to worry about this being obsolete. I've bought these for my whole house and it makes operating different electronics around the house a breeze.

I was looking for a unit to control the TV for a while. Saw this bought it with low expectations and I was very surprised. It works great.

Bought it for the Alexa integration. Works fine, except it doesn't start my DVR unless I'm changing a channel. I wish I wouldn't need such a long commands such as "Alexa, tell Harmony to skip forward" also the 2 skills I need to add are confusing.

Hi All, The remote set up and all the other things was pretty easy. Since i already had an older model remote, i was able to quickly sync my devices and activities to the new one. The only issue i have is sometimes if i turn off in one activity, and turn on the next time for a different activity. The input on TV is not correct. I have to go do it manually again.

So far I am very happy with this remote. I've had harmony remotes in the past and this is by far the easiest to setup. Works as advertised, only issue I've had is the app is slow to load occasionally, although it is not a huge issue. I just bought a second one for my basement tv.

Works great with my Roku system and Amazon Echo. Great price

I like the size of this remote in that it not being a big bulky piece like my other ones. That can also be a problem because it is also easy to lose down the cushion of the couch. lol. When it is programmed correctly it does work well. It does take some getting used to.

If I had reviewed this harmony smart hub remote after the first day of purchasing and setting up I would have given it 2 stars. After doing a bit of research on the harmony website I was able to unlock all the potential out of this remote. I was using almost 6 different remotes and now only need one! You can reprogram buttons to work for your cable box using a quick push and that same button can be for something other function on the tv using a longer press. This remote is fantastic and costs a fraction compared to those others. Get this remote and save yourself some money, but get all the functionality of the more expensive remote. Oh and your smart phone turns into a remote using the app, need I say more.

I recently bought this Logitech universal remote as a gift for my father. It was I tended to replace the five remotes that he was using. It took longer to find the manufacturer and model numbers of the TV and cable box than it did to set this little guy up. The functionality is great and the app for the iPhone is second to none. A great remote for the money.

Works great other than I can not use the remote as a stand alone unit.

I have this setup with my echo and it rocks! Coming to bed and watching tv used to be 2-3 remotes.. now i can simply use one remote or even better.. just ask my echo. Highly recommend this. I even gave one away this Christmas as a gift.

The hub seems to be the same for all harmony bundles. It works well with alexa, top box, Xbox etc. The only drawback (not Logitech's problem) is that it cannot control the DIRECTVNow app on Firetv or Apple TV the same way as it controls the top box. I can tell alexa to open CNN/NBC etc if it is controlling the top box. But no way to do so if watching DIRECTV now
