I already had the harmony 650 which worked great but wasn't compatible with Alexa. I mainly got this to be able to turn on/off and change volume via alexa. This works ok, has a lot of things to be desired. For example there is no way to click through the smart tv options, the key pad will default to whatever else is connected to it (cable box, amazon fire stick, PS4, etc). The other annoying thing is if I have the soundbar playing music and turn on the tv, the sound bar will turn off and will not be recognized by the remote. I have to turn everything off and turn it back on again to have it all paired.

I really like this remote. It was a little challenging at first to figure out the commands, settings. I do like the Amazon Echo compatibility. I have it setup for Sony TV, Apple TV, Sony - 2.1-Channel Soundbar & Sony Blu-ray player. Figuring out the voice commands was easy since it's the same setup as the Phillip Hue system (which also works with Logitech remote & hub as well! The only issue I have is with one function when using remote with Apple TV apps. You can move around go in & out. However, when selecting an app it only selects and prompts you to move or delete app, not open it. For example, using Direct TV Now app. It will just wiggle and not open.If you have an Apple TV you will know what I mean. Still working on how to fix it.

I have multiple devices and this product solves my problem to carry multiple devices. I had previous versions of Harmony products so it was relatively easy for me to program the new remote. One thing to note is that instruction manuals show old Fire tv navigation and it becomes very confusing to link the hub to FireTV.

This is my second Harmony Remote. I liked my first but it finally died after many years of regular use. This one was even easier to program and does EVERYTHING I want. When I can't, or don't want to get the included remote, I just use the app on my phone or tablet. I still get all the functions and have it with me all the time.

I have it linked to Amazon Echo and live to control my Harmony.

Have owned multiple generations of Logitech Harmony remotes over the years. Never really interested in this hub, until the concept of voice control (through Echo) became possible. Full home control integration, coupled with convenient upgrade of RF replacing IR for home theater devices, makes this latest generation a must.

This remote in infinitely customizable. If you don't like the button function, you can change it. Example, channel up & down on my remote are now page up and down. Design of the remote is very comfortable in hand, but doesn't work well when it is sitting on a table. It rocks cause it's curved on the bottom.

It took some time to get everything configured and setup, but it works great. I setup the remote with my Amazon Echo and it has been great. You will have to work out the kinks at first, but it's worth it.

This is a must have for a smart home but also awesome by itself. Some devices don't work great with it just due to how they work, but most devices work perfectly. The app is average but is super convenient.

An excellent solution for TV component control. Easy setup and use.

Works well as an advanced universal remote that can set different "scenes" that control your entire entertainment center at once. Even better is the Alexa integration that allows you to control everything with your voice. Even my 7 year old surround receiver is now voice enabled through this product. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is an additional, noticeable delay between pressing a button on the remote and the corresponding action taking place. It's typically not a problem until you want to skip forward several times in a movie, or move up and down several options in a menu. It's not terribly slow, but just enough to be annoying.

I have owned multiple Harmony remotes and this is my favorite set up. The simplicity of the included remote is awesome and the App works great. I just wish the IR blaster extension had adhesive to attach to wall.

This is the best blaster I have tried. Everything in the component closet received the signal without the "spider web" of extensions going all over my shelves to read each component. I found the basic setup extremely convenient but customizability was limited. The best thing about it is of course the convenience of interfacing with your phone which is always in your pocket -- therefore never looking for where someone else left the remote. The potential downside is relying on Internet and wifi to retrieve your preferences and run the app. I did find myself with a useless remote when our Internet service provider was having problems one day. Bluetooth worked well. I have a projector and lighting in the theater room which is away from the closet where the components are, so the extension would not reach far enough to include those. I decided to return it because it doesn't meet all of my needs. But I feel like it is still the best universal iPhone remote I have seen.

The install was easy. I already had Logitech remotes so my setting were automatically programmed on the hub. Had some issues at 1st with being able to make changes to setting because the app would say I wasn't connected to the same Wi-Fi channel even though I was. Reinstalled the app and now it works fine.

The Harmony Elite remote is great for operating devices stored in closet that don’t respond well to RF remotes.

This remote is awesome it was a Christmas present.

I can tell harmony to do things through Alexa and not leave my chair or hunt down a remote. You can be in another room and set up tv for the grandbabies.

Got this to integrate my home theater into my automation scheme, as well as my Echo. Now I can say, Turn on Netflix, and my TV turns on, loads Netflix, my lights dim and everything gets ready. The remote allows me to control it from there. In addition the harmony app allows me to use my phone when the remote is missing

The programming was a little funky, but just awesome to use with Alexa and with the app. I use my smart phone all the time to adjust my stereo, TV and Roku. So much easier. Plus the Alexa connection is just cool.

Easy setup, works great. Like that you don't have to point it the device. Only complaint is the keys aren't backlit so need to remember the feel of the remote while watching a movie in the dark. If not for that, 5 stars.
