We own several Logitech/Harmony devices, and awhile ago we bought the high-end controller that came with the Harmony Hub. We soon found out that the Hub was what we wanted, as the app on our iPhone was a much better remote than any of the previous (and current) remotes that Harmony produced. When we saw this unit, we were less interested in the remote than the Hub, and while the remote is 'serviceable', it isn't really good. It's all about the Hub! It allows you to control your entertainment system anywhere. Plus, with the insane sale they had at the time, this unit was IN STOCK and less expensive than the hub that was NOT in stock. No brainer!

I purchased this remote to control a basic home theater system. As long as you know how all your equipment is hooked up it is very easy to program. I highly recommend this remote for DIYers.

Great controller! You already own or have your smart phone so you might as well use it! Great product for the money!!

Another harmony remote in my collection, but first with the new app setup. This makes it way easier - no more looking up equipment codes, trying to figure out which ones work, etc. So far, so good!

Set up was a little more complicated than the last Harmony Remote i had (The 659). But once set up this is so cool - controls almost everything in my house.... I have multiple devices linked through my receiver to my Hi-Def TV.. all hooked together... single press of buttons turns everything on... or off... I love it!!

I got this to control my Samsung tv and sound bar along with Xbox and a few other items. And boy does it not work excellent. The remote that comes with it is awesome. Plus I have it connected to a google home so it’s nice being able to ask harmony to turn the tv off and on.

I've owned several Harmony devices and this is a significant improvement. The hub communicates well with IR equipment even in a closed cabinet. It also plays well with Amazon Echo. The remote is ok.

As I'm sure Harmony intended, their Hub is now the center of my entertainment management and automation. This solution pairs well with my Ulitimate remote and I was pleasantly surprised with how many features can be managed via the app: from add/Change of activities, to even directly controlling devices - particularly helpful for text entry when searching. The Hub supports IR and WiFi, allowing me to control all my odd devices like an Amazon FireStick. It works well even through cabinets and best of all: works with Amazon Alexa devices - although this has not been an ideal experience. I think Amazon and Harmony are still working out the bugs. All in all, a great solution save the Home Automation.

I bought this remote system on sale when it was brought to my attention on a Podcast. I bought an Echo Dot on Prime Day for $35 just to play around with it. The sale price was a slam dunk to upgrade from a Harmony One to Harmony Smart Control with Alexa integration. The Alexa control works great as long as you know the keywords. My family loves turning the TV on and off with Alexa. The Harmony controls the whole entertainment center - 65" TV, Denon receiver, Tivo Roamio, and BluRay player. Of course there are specific Tivo actions that are not available to Alexa, but you can call out a channel by name, mute, etc. Overall, I'm very happy with this setup. The only tricky part was placing the base station and the remote IR emitter so that it could control all my components. After I got that worked out, it's a big improvement since I don't have to point the Harmony remote at the TV any more. The handheld remote is wireless, not IR, and it doesn't have to be recharged like the Harmony One.

So far, the iOS app has been more consistently reliable at controlling various components than the remote control. On the whole this is solid replacement to multiple remotes, but could be improved, too.

1 remote, easy set up. You can have a decent multi-component setup without a pile of remotes. Also allows you to use google or amazon's smart speakers to turn on your system, change channels, turn volume up and down even with a non-smart tv. I would recommend this to everyone.

This has lots of good features, but for me the best one is the ability to program mutliple tasks into one button push. This allows me to program it so that my parents can switch from cable to Netflix to BluRay quickly and easily instead of finding all the remotes and hoping they hit all the right buttons.

I bought this to interact with my Amazon Echo - I can use it to turn on and off my lights via voice command - best part is when I walk in my house and have it turn on my tv and audio system. Enjoy!

I'm really happy with, and it works great with Alexa , just need to take your time doing the setup

Very helpful and convenient. I need not to use 3 remote controller to turn on tv, home theater and hdmi switcher. I can also use alexa to voice command what channel or input I need to watch.

Bought this after losing a fireTv remote. Setup wasn't hard at all and took me about 5 minutes to get the activity rolling. Every once in a while the input doesn't change and it means opening the app on my phone and pushing a button. All in all I think it's great and would recommend it.

Controls almost every device I have in the living room. It also controls my smart thermostat/lights and sonos speakers. The best thing is it connects with amazon's alexa for voice integration. I like the different scenes it offers. Lets me turn on all my devices with one button, but it lets me set different devices. For instance if I want to watch a blu ray, I dont have to manually change the input on my television. It also can control movies I watch off of my windows laptop. Sometimes it does mess up to the point where it does not set the right input or turn the correct device on. Hence the one star less. It can be frustrating at times. But overall works enough.
