This solved the issue in my house "how do I turn on the ...". Simple, small remote does all the main tasks required and the IOS app lets me do everything else. Biggest issue is making sure the power toggle is in sync with the remote - mostly regarding the cable DVR. I just programmed an used button to do that toggle.

This is a very simple to set up remote. Controls everything inside the cabinet and out including an older Denon receiver and older Velodyne subwoofer. The remote is a nice simple design that has most basic functions most people need. If you need more functions, download the app and dive in. The app will give you much deeper function options but you will have to scroll through multiple pages. (They all can’t fit on one page.) The macros or events are easy to set up as well, but will take a little time, and some times trial and error. Pay attention to how long specific functions take on specific devices normally. For example, how long it takes to get a picture on your tv after switching hdmi inputs. Don’t forget to add those time delays between functions when setting up your events. Excellent device for the cost. As stated in the summary above, I am very satisfied after using this for a couple months now.

Overall pretty good I purchased this because I wanted the hub already had a better remote that works with the hub. The remote that came with it is fine but is not backlit and don't use it much

This is my second one. It a great substitute for a table full of remotes. 1 push of the button and my tv, cable box and stereo are on. Works great with Amazon Echo for voice controlled tv.

I am a big Harmony fan. I have 3 harmony remotes in my home and even purchased several 650s as Christmas gifts. I went with this remote as it was on sale and wanted to try the hub out and this was the only upper tier harmony with numbers. There is just something about being able to manually type in the exact channel you want to go to. you can use your phone as a remote, but as convenient as that sounds....there are drawbacks. It was just "ho-hum" for my application. It is a great remote and set-up, but was just not my cup of tea and ended up returning it.

I purchased this item to integrate with home automation, with a little bit of patience and testing is a great device to pair with amazon echo. Only cons was it had no screen and a built in battery that cannot be changed. Meaning you would have to purchase a new remote maybe on a yearly basis.

Like all harmony remotes, once you take the time to program it, this remote works great. The hub also works with other harmony remotes, so now I can control the TV in the family room with the remote in the living room! Great when you have kids that want to get up at 6am on a Saturday...

Best remote out there. I have 2 of these. I put the stereo and cable box in the closet along with the harmony hub, ran a long hdmi to my tv and everything is hidden. Had to reset it like once in the three or so years I’ve owned it. You can also use your phone as a remote.

Once I got past the learning curve it worked well. I know it can do more I just have to get the time to play with it. I am using it with multiple entertainment devices and Smartthings.

Included remote sends only RF signals to blaster, HDTV's typically need IR signals to be turned on, iphones and droids also do not put out IR signals, if components and blaster/mini blaster are not close enough to HDTV, you have issues turning on the tv.

Great flexibility being able to use Harmony app or companion remote. I tend to use companion remote which is easy to customize via Harmony app. Nice coverage with main transmitter plus adfitional small corded transmitter for enhanced coverage. Now my preferred remote in the house.

Love my new purchase with Best Buy.......had three remote controls to make my Samsung turn on .....now I'm down to two , but now I ONLY use this sleek , user friendly Harmony Remote Control. No batteries needed and I don't ever have to open up my cabinet doors to my entertainment center....it's wonderful!!!!!

Little tricky on the setup but a little patience and persistence pays off. I had several remotes and devices and all now work perfectly on the included remote and on my iPhone app. Got major points with the wife for simplifying all those remotes.

I have had 4 different Logitech multi-remotes over the years, they usually work very well and are reliable. This new style is interesting as it uses both a remote and allows you to use your smart phone as a remote. After about a month of use I am pleased overall. It did lose it's mind one day and I had to hook it back up to the computer to "remind" it of the settings. Overall it works fine, just be aware you have to go through several steps on your PC to set it up initially (enter all of your equipment types & model numbers, etc). It would have been better if the included remote had a LCD touch screen like my Model 900 has and if they included some instructions in the package instead of the "go to the website for everything" version.

Easy to use remote. I set it up through my pc, with a TV, directv box, sound bar, and Blu-ray player. I like the lightweight remote. it has all the necessary controls. it was also easy to set it up with Alexa to use for voice commands. I use both without any problems.

The Logitech remote and hub are truly amazing. I have the hub inside a cabinet with my receiver, Tivo, Cablebox, Bluray player, VCR, and HDMI switch. Through the remote or my smartphone, the hub controls all of the units with a single touch on the remote's button. Truly a great product.

I have a small theater set up, I was able to get it to do everything I wanted to. The only thing that was a little tricky was programming some of the favorite channels with a Comcast box.

This is my fourth Harmony remote and my favorite of the group. My 1100 which u had for many years is beginning to misbehave/malfunction. Setup for this was seamless (migrated settings from my profile). Well worth the investment.
