Cheap and didn't work well

Not necessarily the fault of the product, maybe was just a bad choice.

It sounds like your issue can be solved by downloading our Logitech Options software, which you can use to customize the keyboard and mouse for better use. The great part is once you make a change, it stays, so you don't have to mess with the software over and over to get it to work properly.
