I've owned two of the original K400 keyboards. The first one had the touch-pad die after 2 years, the second didn't survive a short drop onto a carpeted floor. Hopefully, this new model has a bit better quality control. The Plus appears almost identical to the original K400. The volume keys are easier to reach above the touchpad, the mouse buttons are a bit smaller and more difficult to use. The keys have more travel, better feedback and feel more like a regular keyboard. The keyboard layout is excellent for a media keyboard. The alphabet keys are full sized, and touch typing is easy. Many of the minor keys (Ctrl, Alt, etc) are half sized. The Plus has a slightly better layout than the original, with full sized Shift and Enter keys. The touch-pad is an excellent multi-touch that supports two-finger scrolling, panning and tap-to-left-click (assuming your OS has these features, of course). The keyboard is Android friendly if you have a USB adapter on your Android (however, not all versions of Android have the K400 driver). The volume Up and Mute keys work in Mint Linux, but not the volume Down key.

A family member needed a new keyboard since their laptop keyboard is on the fritz. It registers extra inputs even if the user types perfectly without error. I heard ASUS laptops frequently have keyboard problems...and upon doing some more research? Yep. Anyhow, Logitech makes great quality products for minimal investment by the consumer. This is exactly what my family member needed. A sturdy keyboard that runs flawless with her laptop because of the aforementioned problems. It has plenty of bonuses - the trackpad included (despite replacing the NumPad), easy setup with smart TVs like what Samsung offers, and pretty great battery life (18 hours). At first I thought a Bluetooth keyboard would be preferable, but upon doing research again, they can sometimes cut in and out depending on what device you're using them with, so it's not ideal. Despite this, using a USB tongle might not be the best for everyone's situations. Sometimes you don't have extra USB ports and hubs are atrocious in certain setups, especially if it's an entertainment center or minimalist desk setup. Either way, 5 out of 5. Can't have it all.

I used to use a small, one handed keyboard for my Nexus Player. This is a welcome upgrade from that. The range is wonderful, & the battery life is supposed to be forever, (not really forever, but very long!). The keys are silent, & the touch pad is very responsive. A definite best buy.

I use it for Mac and windows machines. Its pretty lightweight, easy to carry around, easy to connect. Keys are good and robust. The touchpad is great and makes it easy to work with. One drawback, I think there should be a slot on the keyboard to insert the usb when not in use. I always fear i might lose it.

Great for the money. It's not a gaming keyboard - obviously. It's good for seating on couch while watching movies and stuff on big TV screen. I like touchpad because I don't separate mouse.

After some research, I decided on this wireless keyboard specifically for my smart TV. I must say, it was an easy setup and I'm actually typing this review on it. The range is great, I also like that there's a trackpad on the keyboard. Eliminates me having to purchase a mouse. I ordered my keyboard during the Black Friday sale and was able to pick it up the following day at a Best Buy location near my job during my lunchbreak. I paid $17.99 plus tax. Not a bad deal.

It's a good little keyboard to use the mouse and type wirelessly but it does not have Bluetooth, contrary to what the specs say on Best Buy's website. It's the reason I bought it...I should have done more research so that's on me I suppose. Otherwise it's a good cheap little keyboard/mouse combo for the price.

Bought this because I changed my desk ergonomics and needed a separate keyboard from my thinkpad's. No issues so far. The keyboard has just about all the functions you need, plus a very thoughtful mouse click button that makes highlighting far less of a pain. It isn't that hard to adjust to either - I got it about a month ago and am already back to touch typing at a decent pace, even knocked out some heavy editing and formatting work. The trackpad is more responsive than the one on my laptop, and the receiver prevents annoying Bluetooth issues. All in all, this is probably the second best 20$ I've ever spent on hardware. I'm pleased to see Logitech continuing to earn their reputation of producing budget-friendly yet reliable accessories.

I am very pleased with this keyboard for my Mac mini that I'm using a home theater PC. It worked right away and I did not notice any input lag or functional issues. My only minor complaint is the build quality and sensitivity of the trackpad are not amazing (don't expect Apple's Magic Trackpad level of smoothness). But overall this a great product for the price and the use case.

This is the best keyboard. It has a good key touch feel, not too big, not too small. Excellent battery life. Having the touchpad mouse is handy, but I do typically use a logitech ergo mouse.

I purchased this item from another retailer last month. I have been using it for the past 30 days and have enjoyed it easy of use. My computer is hooked up to my TV in the living room. I can operate it from my sofa (15 feet away) with the doors closed on the entertainment center. I would purchase it if you are looking for a small and efficient keyboard for you media center.

This is a very good Bluetooth keyboard for a decent price. It requires batteries to run, but batteries lasts long time in it. There is a on/off switch which can help you preserve battery power. It starts up and connects to dongle provided pretty quickly. You can attach dongle to USB port of any device and keyboard will work with it.

This is a great replacement for my old wired keyboard. I can carry this thing around and use it at the same time. I love the track pad on it it eliminates the need for a mouse and it's very responsive. Not to mention the price is right don't hesitate to buy this one.

this keyboard is light weight and easily portable. it has wireless bluetooth. there is no problem in connectivity. you need to use AA batteries for it to work.

I use this in my living room with my HTPC. I am very happy with it's range and track pad. The track pad works great as it is not jerky or difficult to control. This unit has great range and eliminates the need to have a separate mouse so it is very convenient and ideal for a living room.

I watch a lot of online content through my laptop connected to my flatscreen. This wireless keyboard is a favorite of mine (I bought 2) because it has the track pad on it (to the right hand side). Absolutely key to me liking this item so much is that you can SCROLL UP and DOWN the page by pressing with two fingers and sliding them up or down the track pad (just like a MacBook), you do not have to click and hold (use two hands) like on cheaper models. It was "plug and play", I inserted the usb adapter, heard the connection ping, watched it self install and away we went. Great feel to the keyboard, it's normal sized spacing and smooth key press response. Bought as a Best Buy Deal of The Day for $20, even included a fresh battery (with the pull out plastic activation tab, so it wasn't dead upon opening) love it~!

I bought this keyboard in 2018 for my HTPC/Couch Gaming rig. In 2024 it decided to stop working. It was used almost daily and until it broke, I never had an issue with it. It is worth the $20 bucks for 6 years of continuous use and I'm going to buy another one.

This keyboard is so great! Works wonderfully and is very easy to store away when not in use. It may be small but it functions just as well if not better than a full size keyboard. Would highly recommend this product!

I absolutely love this keyboard. This is my "go to" keyboard for media PCs, and I recommend it to all of my friends and family. It's convenient for sitting on the couch and controlling a TV connected PC. You don't have to worry about where to place a mouse or mess with TV trays and the like. You also can't beat the price. Yes, there are more "premium" media keyboards out there with backlighting and additional macro keys, but they also cost three or four times what this keyboard cost. For a fraction of that price, you're getting an excellent keyboard that's comfortable to type on and easy to operate without any additional furniture.

Great little keyboard. We connected it to a laptop and it is so much better than laptop's keyboard and mouse.
