I love this keyboard for use in my living room. I hook my surface Pro to my TV via HDMI and use this keyboard to surf the web and watch movies from the comfort of my couch. I also own the regular K400 and this K400 Plus keyboard is much nicer for typing. I wouldn't recommend typing long emails or school work on it because of the compact nature of the product.

Great little keyboard. Obviously not for intense gaming or anything, but can be used for certain slower paced games. I have a computer set up to the living room tv and this keyboard is perfect for something like that.

I use this for the Raspberry Pi and my home entertainment setup. I love the distance I get from the bluetooth connection and the all in one keyboard with trackpad. This also works with my iPad and is fun to use with other bluetooth devices. You don't have to use the keyboard with the dongle if your device already has bluetooth enabled.

Needed a quick replacement for a larger keyboard that broke in my studio. One night I could continue to use when I find my next real replacement. This one was very capable I'm getting the job done. Now I am considering just continuing to use it in the studio for its size incapability.

Keyboard has a very ‘laptop’ feel and the touchpad is no exception. The on/off switch is a great feature so you know when you’re burning energy. The range is great - at least 15 feet in my case. For the price it’s hard to beat. Just don’t plan on gaming with it!

This is a great media center keyboard as hit has the track pad along with a shortened keyboard (3/4 sized, aka laptop sized). I bought this for a media center in my front room, and have been more then pleased. The only complaint is that the track pad is less sensitive then I would like even with the mouse settings at max.

I was hoping to be able to use this on my couch, using Chromecast to cast from my pc to my non-smart TV. The keyboard worked fine but the touchpad cursor was totally jerky and unusable. I searched for some solutions. I found that the touchpad worked just fine when I tried using it right at my pc and my regular pc mouse was jerky when I moved it to the TV area, so I believe it's a connectivity problem. They are both on the same unifying receiver along with my regular pc keyboard. My TV area is just in the middle of the room while my pc is in the corner of the same room, separated by maybe 10 or 12 feet. There were some suggested solutions that I didn't try because it's not that important to me and I've messed with it all I am going to. But if you have a similar problem, some people suggest trying a usb extender or using two separate unifying receivers. I am checking the box that I would recommend to a friend because it's a required field, but my recommendation would come with caveats.

The k400r was terrible. It had terrible range (almost unusable) mushey and awkwardly positioned keys, and required Logitech bloatware to use some of the advanced functionality. The k400 Plus is pretty much the same thing, but they fixed my two biggest issues: range and software. This keyboard even works in the next room. It's fantastic. Just plug it in and it works without the need for Logitech SetPoint. Don't get me wrong. This keyboard feels like junk. But it's functional junk. It works perfectly for my HTPC, but I wouldn't recommend it for any kind of extended typing.

We use these to talk to Chromebits (like Chromebooks but plugged right into the HDMI port of a TV) that are connected to wall mount TVs. No cables, comes with a dongle that goes into the 1 USB port so makes keyboard/trackpad functions available from 10' away. Pretty great.

Purchased for use in my bedroom as i have my computer hooked up to my tv and needed a wireless keyboard.

I use this on the living room pc and it works very well. The smaller keys take some getting used to, but they function just fine. I've had no issues with the trackpad portion of the keyboard. I do wish the keyboard was a bit more smooth on the back/bottom edges though when picking it up though.

Pros: wireless compact built in touchpad quiet typing Cons: a little TOO compact feels cheap keys in awkward spots no instruction manual to tell you what some of the keys are for registers taps on touchpad even if you didn't tap it if you type fast it responds slow price: $32.12 incl tax at best buy My Thoughts: I really wanted to like this keyboard as i was dealing with pain in my wrist and was told not to use my pc mouse as the lateral movements would irritate my wrist so i was limiting my pc time a huge amount. then i saw this keyboard on best buys site and on amazon.. the reviews seemed promising. so i purchased the keyboard at best buy on October 3rd. the keyboard was easy to set up-- just plug in and play-- so drivers needed so after putting away my regular keyboard and mouse, and plugged the dongle for the k400+ into my usb port and set about to use it to get the feel of it. i still limited my PC time and slowly got the hang of it.. although it did take me the better part of 4 days to figure out how to do a print screen command with it-- finally had to look it up online. everything seemed do be going smoothly, but i hated the placement of the caps lock button and the fact that f i typed at my normal pace they keyboard was slow to respond. not too mention the overly compact size made it hard to get a good typing position as everything seemed squished together, the touchpad took some getting used to and even then would register taps on it when i hadn't tapped anything and would open links if i scrolled over them while reading-- it was very annoying. On October 10th as i checked my email the mouse pointer abruptly froze on my screen! i tried everything!! i replaced the batteries(even though the batteries were brand new) i put the dongle in a new USB port to see if it was a port problem, i even restarted my PC, and the pointer remained frozen!! the touchpad wasn't registering, so in a panic i grabbed my old mouse and plugged the dongle into the original port-- and it worked perfectly! i rapidly came to the conclusion that after a week of use(and limited at that cause of my wrist) the touchpad on the keyboard was DEAD!!! I returned the keyboard to best buy on the 11th and was able to get a full refund-- they even asked if i wished to exchange it and try another one-- i declined... i didn't want to go through that headache again,

It’s small and functional. The touchpad is responsive and has all the normal gestures. The only bad thing about the K400 keyboard is the lack of backlit keys.

Great for use with firestick for surfing the internet or streaming. Much easier than using the hand held controller that comes with firestick.

I needed a wireless keyboard for a computer that I had connected to one of my home theater systems, and this certainly does the trick. The addition of the touch pad mouse on the side of the keyboard makes this very easy to use.
