All the ones that connect to the contoller I've used are awful so I tried this and I love it. Its pretty small so I can set it aside but big enough that its not awkward to use. All you have to do is plug in the usb adapter and it's ready to go.

I'll take the keyboard, kick back, move the screen to my TV and just do the stuff that isn't really important. AND it works like a champ. Occasionally, have to pull the dongle out, and its back to working. Set up was easy, instructions were great. No problems.

Having a touchpad included seemed like a good idea. I was not able to set up the new TV and try the keyboard before the return date approached. I may purchase again in the future after plying with the new smart TV.

And no I don't work for Logitech. If you have a smart tv, there is nothing worse than navigating with the tv remote. The keyboard is great.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am now on my 3rd K400, I love these keyboards, they are perfect for taking on the road with me to work, reasonably priced so if you break them, like I did, you are ok with going to get another one, have never had any issues with them being detected in any device. Just to clarify, the first 2, worked excellent as well, it was my own error that caused them to need to be replaced, I left the wireless adapter somewhere with the first one and closed the second one in my trunk door, and it actually still worked afterwards but i lost a few key caps so decided to just get a new one. They are rugged :D

On one hand it is very light and compact enough for 'on the go' use and it has a fair price. On the other hand I find myself constantly hitting the wrong keys, I am not very comfortable with the layout I guess. I would give it a 3.5 rating.

Great condensed keyboard

It has a smaller footprint then a regular size keyboard, but with the same functionality of a bigger keyboard. This was absolutely what I was looking for. It includes a great touch pad, so you do not need a separate mouse. A great keyboard to use with a TV connected Windows device!

I've never had any problems with either of them. Plugged the USB reciever into the USB plug on the TV, went into settings to set it up, noticed it'd already recognized it, touched the touchpad and a cursor appeared on screen letting me navigate. Jumped over to the web browser, typed into the google search field no problem, surfed the web for awhile, leaving posts on forums, went onto netflix app, it let me scroll around with the touchpad, opened the search, went to type, all is working well I am happy to say. So much easier than a remote...

I had the old K400r and I really didn't like the placement of the right shift key. With this new model they rearranged the arrow keys and the right shift key. Everything feels a lot more natural now.
