key actions are glitchy
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i've had this keyboard for only a year and the key actions started to be flaky and don't work properly, making it difficult to type. as a mechanical keyboard, it is very ergonomic and i've been enjoying using it but at this point and time, with such glitchy key actions, i am very dissapointed by the product.

Watch Out
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought one day; returned it the next. Made very cheaply. The caps were popping off as I was tying. Very cheaply made.

great, but know what you're getting
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If there's ONE THING I wish I'd known that wasn't in any other review anywhere it's the "ringing" sound this thing makes due to the metal top. It's got a slight metallic ring depending how hard you type. Yes, the space bar has a different sound. May try some way to dampen it somewhat. Not sure yet. Otherwise? It's a good little board. Beats the pants off of anything included with a computer these days. Can see it being decent for games but that's not its primary use for me. Some may prefer responsiveness of other types, but it feels solid enough to do some gaming with. For typing, I'm enjoying it. It'll take some getting used to but I can already tell it's much quicker to type with. Different feel just takes some getting used to like anything. Has a feel unlike most. Light but accurate. Responsive. Far nicer than any stock board. Not as heavy duty as an IBM model M or anything. Not nearly as loud either, obviously, which is really nice. Going from memory, almost like a good ancient Apple keyboard or something. Wish it had a bit of a curve to the rows. That'd be nice. Otherwise, it's not bad. Overall it's a good balance. If you don't like it, you don't like it. Took a chance as I was looking at cherry "brown" keyboards but after seeing a video comparing the sound, I liked the lower tone of this one. Not as bright and high pitched. The key switches themselves are nearly silent. It's when you "bottom out" that makes any sound really. And the space bar does have its different tone. Not generally any louder than a standard keyboard, though obviously louder than the super flat keyboards that I personally don't like very much. If you're on the fence, worst case you just return it. To me, I'm quite happy. Much more enjoyable to type on than a standard keyboard. I'm sure some much prefer "cherry" style switches for many reasons. So far though, I'm not disappointed by this one and their proprietary switches. Feels like it'll last a while and it's better than a standard membrane based keyboard. No idea why they didn't include a num lock light. Pretty strange thing to omit. FN media keys are acceptable, though it'd be nice to have dedicated media keys. For its main purpose of typing, it's a nice piece of gear. If they had an option with angled rows, and maybe a few dedicated media keys, I'd buy that version. As it is, this is a sleeper and a not crazy price. No crazy lights. No crazy design. Just a nice almost boring looking keyboard that's nice to use.

QC isn't the best. Switches are similar to MX Red
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I would like to say that there is nothing wrong with this keyboard. I received a perfectly functioning model. I was looking for a key press like what the Cherry MX Blue switches offer and this is 100% not it. The design is very muted, like what you would want if you wanted it on your office desk. It's got nice build quality but I noticed some differences in the feel of some key presses. Overall, its a great keyboard and you won't find another mechanical keyboard that doesn't have disco lights and lasers on it. But I hate this one.

Functional, simple, effective
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Testing testing test one two three. This mechanical keyboard has a significant tensile feedback, I also noticed that there’s this weird ringing noise emitting from beneath the keyboard, similar to the sound made when you wet a finger and rub it against the rim of a crystal glass making the “eeeeeeeeeeeeee” sound. Although you can notice it, it’s so low and quiet that it isn’t a bother. I am currently typing out this review to basically “field-test” this keyboard and see how much of a distraction the ringing noise really is. Other than that ringing noise, keys feel good. The weight of each keystroke seems to be on the lighter side when compared to other mechanical keyboard manufacturers. Ah yes, the keys feel like cherry red keyboards, you have the physical feedback of the key stroke and the noise of each key stroke is audible but isn’t enough to drive you or your loved ones insane. Now the 10-key: 5318008*69696969 1337. Not bad, my KPH is around 12500 just so you have a reference. And lastly, following up on the ringing sound: it is nothing but white noise. If you’re complaining about how annoying the sound is, you should probably go and see an otologist cause yo weak.

Good entry level gaming keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't want an RGB mechanical board nor did I want to spend a ton of money on one. This was the compromise I found. Keys are great so far and more sensitive than I expected. If I have to complain, I wish the FN (function) button was on the left side instead of the right because that's just what I'm used to on my previous keyboard.
