The Logi Circle has been put at my disposal by the Review Club for testing purposes without any obligation but to provide my opinion on this product. I decided to use the Logi Circle to monitor and capture any outdoor activity occurring within the Logi Circle's viewable range when the device was placed in a window overlooking my frontal porch area. Initial setup was quick and easy – only taking minutes from the time I opened the box until the time the Logi Circle was in operational status with my home Wi-Fi router and smartphone. I fine-tuned the placement of the Logi Circle then left it alone to do its work. I was curious to view the Logi Circle's live presentation on my smartphone. I was impressed with the wide range-of-sight captured by the Logi Circle. I was able to view my entire front door/front porch area, driveway, front yard, plus areas beyond my household property – with no visual distortion at all. I found the the Logi Circle to be really good at capturing actual movement of animate objects (such as individuals, automobiles...) while ignoring non-event items such as tree limbs being blown by the wind and similar. The Logi Circle has built-in night vision capabilities to allow it to capture and record motion detected in darkness. In my application of the product, the built-in night vision function was actually a hindrance to viewing at night. I determined the root cause of this to be the several layers of glass in my storm window. I decided to test the camera's ability to function at nighttime with the night vision disabled – problem solved – the Logi Circle worked just fine without night vision enabled. The Logi Circle captures and records each incidence of detected motion. Each incidence can be viewed at the user's convenience by viewing each incidence one-by-one on your smartphone. Or, alternatively, there is a “Day Briefs” icon that can be touched to replay the previous 24-hr period's incidents of detected motion in a 30-second recap. Each type of playback (individual events and “Day Briefs”) can be saved to your smartphone. There was a day when I had to travel out-of-town but was expecting UPS delivery. Although many miles away, I was able to pull out my smartphone and verify exactly when the UPS driver made delivery. This enabled me to then make a phone call to a neighbor to pick up and hold for me the delivered-package until I returned home the next day. Overall, I was pleased with the Logi Circle as it sufficiently-handled the applications I was seeking to use it for. There are many other potential applications of the Logi Circle beyond what I used and tested it for – it would just take time to test the product in various other environments and applications, and to measure and analyze performance in those other environments and applications. But for my primary intent of usage, the Logi Circle was satisfactory and I would recommend to others to purchase.

I think this is a good camera and has great night vision. My BIG disappointment is that the notification of person detection ends after 10 days, then you have to pay a month subscription. That kinda defeats the purpose of having the camera. For the price it should always send a notification.

I bought this to watch my dog with when I leave. It is not overly heavy, so I was able to Velcro it to our banister, When I was trying it out, I was speaking loud into my phone which kind of distorted the voice and scared him. After that, I spoke normal into the phone and it sounds way better. I like the battery life on it and I watch it right on my phone. My parents are buying one now too. I would recommend this for sure.
