    I bought this online - and couldn't make it work at all when I got it - no light, no arrow, no movement, nothing. I took it back to the store and got a replacement. When I got home - same thing - nothing. I took it back to the store and the lady took it in the back, then came out and said it worked and it wasn't supposed to have a light. She showed me on a laptop that the arrow moved. I took it home only to find out the left button didn't work. I threw it away and ordered something different elsewhere, I got 2 for the price of the 1 from Best Buy and both work, and the light on the bottom comes on so I know it is turned on.

    after 8 months- scrolling not working. Is less than a year of 100% functioning wrong for an inexpensive mouse? I say yes.

    Bought this for the price & brand name, but it stops working every second. My mom was using it and I thought she was just complaining but I tried using it with my laptop as well but now I see it is a real problem. I turn it on & off, switch battery but it works, and then it stops again. Nothing seems to fix it. I honestly don't know what it is and it's very annoying. I checked too late–I'm two days too late to return :( guess I should've looked into it earlier. We were using a different Logitech mouse (M325?) for YEARS and those worked great. I guess this one was not the one to go with.

      Sorry to hear that you and your mom are having trouble with your M170. My suspicion is that it may be linked to an issue we discovered after a Windows 10 update (KB4074588).     Average Mice. Nothing crazy. It does the job. Scroll wheel is not that great

    Works ok, although had to get used to it. The battery runs out fast, therefore it is not the best one if you are a frequent computer user.

    good short term, but you should invest in better

    i kept the mouse in a clean environment and used it a few times a week for about 5 months before it the mouse wheel began scrolling erratically. cleaning the mouse with compressed air didn't help. i eventually took the mouse apart and found poor design choices. Anyway, it was a cheap enough mouse that i just threw it away and bought something of higher quality.

    Poor quality - look for another mouse

    I had this just a little over a year and it died. Batteries were changed but the mouse still did not rise from the dead. Really disappointed with the life span! I had another logitech mouse (same model) that died a few weeks later. I've never had any complaints about Logitech products before but I sure do now.

    The usb plug was missing. It’s completely useless without it.

    Bought this to replace another mouse and it was DOA right out of the package. Returned it and bought the Microsoft version.

      Hello customer, I'm sorry to hear that the USB receiver wasn't included with your M170 mouse. It's usually located in the battery compartment of the mouse rather than inside the packaging.
