    I bought this like 45 days ago and it was working fine, until it stopped working out of nowhere. I thought the battery was dead and I put in a new one but still didn’t work and just won’t connect to my laptop.

What you could try, if you haven't done so already, is download the free Logitech Options software https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/options and try to re-do the pairing of your mouse with its receiver. If that doesn't work, know that this product actually has a 1-year warranty on it from Logitech, so might be worth checking the product page https://www.logitech.com/en-my/product/m170-m171-wireless-mouse and contacting the Support on our website. - Mathieu from Logitech
