No instructions came with it. After going on the web for answers I found the plug and it works very reliably. It doesn't travel very far on one stroke on my laptop surface.

Depending on what model mouse this is, if you have any questions on how best to use the mouse, you can check www.logitech.com/support, enter the model---for example M325---and there should be a startup guide that you can view online as well as downloads for firmware updates if needed and when available. Hope that this has helped and, again, thank you for being a Logitech customer.
