It requires a usb receiver (included). So it will not connect to iPads or any other bluetooth only devices as advertised. I'm sure its a very fine mouse for the price if you're connecting to a standard laptop or desktop

This brings up all wireless and Bluetooth mice options on bestbuy.com. You are correct, M170 is one of the wireless mouse, but not one of the Bluetooth options. - Will, Logitech.
