    I must like these, seeing as how I have three of them. They work fine with or without a mousepad. The clicks are not whisper-quiet, but not overly loud either. I think the mouse wheel felt a bit wobbly or uneven on one of them, but over time it has smoothed out. I have two of these in the same 15' x 20' room on different computers and they don't interfere with each other. They are only 2" wide by 3" long. I have small hands, so that's fine for me. They may not be comfortable for people with large hands.
