The USB "dongle" is very small and never gets in the way. The mouse fits in my hand very comfortably... not too big and not too small. The side buttons are helpful when I play some games, as they can be used to access/use additional capabilities in the games. The battery life is pretty impressive too. This is actually the second Logitech M510 mouse I've purchased. I used the first one a lot, daily, probably 1-2 hours a day at least and I was able to go several months before replacing the batteries. The mouse is very efficient in its battery usage, which is a bonus!

A little less than expected

It simply uses the scroll like any other mouse when a web page supports that feature. The forward and back buttons are located too far back - they don't fit my hand. I have to make a conscious effort to use them. This unit was purchased to replace another Logitech unit that failed. The unifying transceiver works seamlessly, allowing me to continue using my keyboard without tying up another USB port.
