We have several of the smaller Logitech mice, but the wife was complaining about hand cramps, so we switched to the larger one, she's happy with it

Easy set up for a regular mouse that was on sale and no need for the fancy ones!

This review is for the returning M510 users out there. If you've owned this mouse, you should know that that Logitech has changed the design a little bit. Along with their new logo, the new "2nd Edition" M510 (missed opportunity by not calling it M510 or something) now also sports a "laser-grade" optical sensor, as opposed to the old "actual laser" sensor. After doing a deep dive for some information, the internet scholars on a couple first-page forums have confirmed a few facts for me. First, the optical sensor is not necessarily a downgrade. Laser sensors have inherent issues - some complaints on the old 510 were that it exhibited cursor stutters, jitters, and shakes - and the modified design is likely to address those concerns. That being said, laser sensors have higher a DPI resolution, which should mean that they are more precise. Conventional wisdom might make you hesitant to purchase this new M510S (my nickname for it). Why would the 'newer' model have LESS DPI's? What an outrage!

I spent a while deciding what mouse I wanted. I pick this one because it felt perfect. The forward & back button are a plus for me.

This is a very nice mouse. Its very responsive and feels solid in your hand. It's heavier than the cheaper ones so it has a nice touch to it.

I wanted a wireless mouse for my macbook. This mouse works fine, and moves smoothly. The only thing that I would say is that personally I don't like the clicking feeling. But other than that, it's worth of what I paid.

I was looking for a replacement for a desk top mouse. It gets lots of use and needs to be dependable and accurate. The last one would skip on a click and drag. So far, this one is working well. Has all the features and has a good feel - some weight.

I had a very similar Logitech mouse that I use for several years, and loved it. When it got damaged, I, of course, looked to Logitech to see what the new mice were like. I love the small receiver that plugs into the USB port, and can be stored inside the mouse when not in use. I love the feel and the quick response of the mouse, and the batteries last forever.
