It reads the motion of whatever surface I happen to be working on including my hospital bed sheets. I used it while recuperating and didn’t miss a beat.

Within 2 weeks of ownership, I have dropped it from 5ft+ in height and managed to drop it (with USB receiver inside) out of work bag... into my Rottweiler's water dish (I did immediately remove the batteries and let it dry for 3 days.) but after all of that it still works perfectly! I really love a good product.
