Very reliable, easily cleaned

I prefer trackball because I do not need a flat surface to move it around. Also, one can just push the ball out and easily clean it and the contact points.

Great Trackball Wireless Mouse

I used to own the wired version (it finally died) so I waited for a sale and got this one. Ergonomically, the arch is a bit higher than my old one but it was just a matter of getting used to it. One thing to note is that the ball movement was a bit "Rough" or rather not as smooth as I thought it should be. I used my old trackball (read this tip online) and the movement was much better! Based on my research, a number of people had the same issue...while the majority did not mention it.
