This is a fantastic mouse for using on non desk surfaces. I use this on the couch all the time and I'm tight spaces where I can't move a traditional mouse. My only complaint is when pressing the scrolling wheel it is louder than I like. I open links in new tabs a lot and that louder than normal click annoys me some. Other than that minimal issue, I love this mouse!!

batteries last "like forrreeevvverrr", Good fit and response from the ball. Is much better at capturing lent etc, and then flicking the lent away from the ball cavity than the previous versions of the LT marble designs. The would often behave badly with even lest junk.

I previously used the older USB version of this Logitech wireless trackball mouse. Liked it but found it inconvenient when sitting with laptop on sofa - and I hate touch pads! This wireless trackball was just what I needed. I ended up buying another for work and another for my husband.

Great Trackball to Avoid Carpal Tunnel

I've been using the corded version of this trackball for decades on desktops and laptops. I had problems using a mouse with carpal tunnel, even after surgery. With this type of track ball I've had no further problems. It also saves a lot of "real estate" on your desk or airline tray table.

there is a learning curve to using a track ball device of any kind. I am 71 years old and I find that going from a 5 button mouse is not as easy as it looks. No fault of the device but I find myself trying to push the device around and it does not respond kindly. When used properly, it responds quickly and is not difficult to use. If I had started with this instead of a mouse, I might be making similar comments about a mouse.

I've gone through many a mouse, dropping them after falling asleep at my computer. THIS ONE, however, is the most solid, durable one I've ever owned. HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL as well, I love the rotating ball that add tons of latitude to functions and the wheel still adds even more! A GREAT pices!!

This my second one. I still have the first one, but it has a tricky microswitch. I just had the software swap the two. Now I have a spare. These are comfortable and have good range. If you're a gamer or going to overuse it, get two!

I bought it during sales. The mouse has been very reliable so far. Moving the mouse pointer on the screen a bit slower compared to a normal mouse. It is great if you like the trackball type mouse.

This is my second trackball. I wore my first one out with 4 years of use. Best advice on trackballs: 1. Clean ball and guide rollers often with microfiber cloth and air duster. 2. Never use harsh chemicals to clean the trackball or guide rollers. 3. Only use it with clean non-oily hands. If you take care of it it will last a long time.

If you like stationary mice then this model is excellent. I prefer Logitech anyway and this model works perfectly for me. The wheel speed is lightning fast compared to my old roller model. These models are not for everyone just like ergonomic keyboards.

Didn't help a lot with my carpal tunnel wrist pain. Needs a bit of getting used to, if are switching from a regular mouse.

I purchased the M570 frackball mouse to replace an older M505 mouse that didn't work with Windows 10. I chose the trackball because I have a limited workspace. The M570 has resolved all my problems. The trackball does take a little retraining, but works as you would expect it to work.

This is my second one. I bought this one to use at work and will not buy any other type. With this mouse you are not moving your arm all over the place to move the mouse, you just roll the trackball and lay your arm down and have less stress.
