    I purchased this as a replacement for an older one (same model) that wore out after 4 years of daily use. The older one replaced a Microsoft trackball mouse that I used for over 10 years. I purchased the current one due to it was the most comfortable mouse with a thumb ball that closest fit my hand. I rated it average based upon the lifespan of the previous one I owned. I am expecting this one to wear out in a few years like the previous one.
