Hard to shift from traditional mouse to Trackball

It works great for some things,but to drag items or to highlight test, it is a different story. To even use it on a simple card game, it is difficult to grab and drag cards. I am sure that given enough time I could learn to use it more effectively but I am not that patient and have since purchased a traditional wireless mouse.
