I love trackballs so much better on hands and was talked into "wireless" one. Trust me suck it up and get wired one. Wireless one constantly loses position or disappears all together from screen; drives you nuts

I bought this one because only this is what "Bestbuy" carried. I had no choice. To small to my hand and useless for Photoshop. I had much better mouse before.

Not configured properly for my hand.

I returned the item because of where the ball was located. I didn't realize that the placement really does make a difference. My hand was used to a center ball so switching to the thumb was totally foreign. But while I was trying to make it work for me, I noticed that the cursor was not moving smoothly and would "stick" until I kept moving the ball. That is what happened to my old trackball mouse that was probably 10 years old and finally wasn't working anymore. This one I just pulled out of the package. That is why I gave it a one star.

This is the third one that I've had. The first one was great. The second was OK. This one is poor. It constantly loses contact with the cursor.

    Inconsistent Reliability

BLUF: the wireless mouse fails to move the arrow repeatedly with movement of the tracker ball. I replaced my prior mouse of the same model for the same reason, thinking it was due to wear and tear after nearly three years of use. In the first week, the new mouse started doing the same thing. Repositioning my tower for direct line of sight of the mouse to the USB fob failed to improve performance. Wishing there were corded tracker ball mice still sold as I am not ready to spend over $100 for the next wireless version.

Thought we would like this trackball to replace our old one who’s ball was in the middle. No chance. It probably works ok but can’t teach this old dog new tricks.

Hello customer, I'm sorry to hear that your M570 stopped working on you. I would recommend a few things, firstly switching out the batteries as that could be the issue. Second, make sure the USB dongle is fully inserted, and didn't wiggle free from the computer somehow. Lastly, if all else fails, try switching the USB dongle between USB ports to make sure it's not the receiver or the port.

    The ONLY way to fly!

I have been using this type of track ball for many years. Started with the corded version then my last 2 were cordless. I get about 2 - 3 year out of them s I litterally wear them out. The pads inside wear under very heavy use. I find this to be the fasted way to run CAD and other intesive programs. Photo Shop is awesome with it, changing things by program the switches. The battery lives about 9 months to a year for me under heavy use. Every so often you need to pop the ball out and clean the junk that builds up under it cleaned, other than that it is one tuff track ball.

The roller would get stuck a lot and it has a cheaply made feel to it as well. It was a good mouse but didn't last long when using it everyday.

Hi BigBoy50! Sorry to see you're having trackball durability issues. Sometimes with everyday use, there may be small particles that get trapped in the cavity the rollerball sits in that may contribute to it getting stuck. But if you have any questions or concerns, check out the Logitech support page. Hope that helps!

I did not like the feel of the roller ball, it was not smooth. We use optical tracking Logitech trackballs on our equipment at work, this one just had a cheaper feel to it.

Mouse is fine, bit expensive at this store. After trying it for ten minutes, I ended up going back to a basic mouse that seemed to work better and faster.

This is a unique mouse that you would have to get use to in order to like it. You do not move your hand but the ball only. I ended up returning the mouse didnt suit me.

Hello customer, I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some issues with your M570 trackball mouse. The sensitivity of the mouse can be modified in your computers settings as well as in our SetPoint software. If that doesn't work, I would recommend removing your thumb from the trackball when pressing buttons.

I've used trackballs for decades. I bought this to replace the same model, which I had used for five years. It had its problems, but was usable. The one that I bought was totally unusable and I returned it. Before doing so, I contacted Logitech. They gave me the typical response: "it's a problem with my computer." Once they determine that its their own quality control, I'll return to the trackball.
