Awesome Trackball
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this with my Laptop. I never have liked touch pads and normal mice you need a pad to use. this trackball lets me rest my hand where-ever it is comfortable and works excellently. uses AA battery and long life so far. when connect my laptop to a TV i can sit across the room and control the computer.

comfort with limits
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 3 weeks. For a mouse for use with limited spaces this is the one. i work on the short end of table so there is not to much space to move a normal mouse around, I purchachased this mouse to combat this deficency and it works great. I use it with Windows 7 Pro on a screen that is 1900 x 1200. the ball makes it very easy to move it from side to side and up to down without repetition of movement. All the movements are adjustable which was great because at first I had to dial down the speed as I was learning to use the ball. The receptor works fine although I have not moved more than a meter from my computer while it is in use. Comfort is great for a man's average size hands. The scroll wheel is easily used with either the index or middle finger. The only drawback is that my trackball is not perfectly spherical, which means that sometimes it 'feels' that it is grinding, or better said not as smooth as other times. Since the mouse is ergonomically comfortable it is easy for me to rest my hand on it and since I fidget I let my thumb move the ball while I am reading. This is how I noticed the slight difference in the trackball action. The good thing is it has no affect on the cursor movement. For the full price of $50 I don't feel that it is worth the price unless you have a repetitive type injury. I feel that a mouse should be perfect for that price and the mine is not (ball not perfectly spherical). I bought mine with a BB gift card from my credit card company. It has a three year warranty so maybe if I return to the USA in the next couple of years I wil exchange it. Until then I won't be suffering.

Nice Trackball
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Trackman Trackball finally died after 15 years (yes 15!) so I needed to replace it. I was looking for something cordless as I have a cat who loves to destroy small cords and I didn't want to have to lock up my trackball every night like I had been with the Trackman. This trackball mouse fit the bill perfectly. There was a small learning curve after transitioning from the Trackman but not really a big deal.

problem.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the mouse 2 years ago. Really like it. So I bought a second one. Unfortunately, the first starts to have problem recently. when you try to highlight the text in PDF file in Acrobat, it can not accurately do it. only a few words are picked for highlight. Otherwise, it is pretty good. But this glitch is kind of annoying, in particular I have to read lots of PDF file and prefer to highlight them when I need. The other mouse has been perfect so far.

excellent design for those who need ergo tech
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an older model that died after 10 years. This is the same style and design that is so easy to use and dependable. The clincher is the wireless use since I sit just anywhere to use my laptop. This is a must for folks like me with carpal tunnel issues.

Almost makes me forget my old Marble FX!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the M570 ... to be honest, I don't care that it's wireless, and in fact I will probably eventually wish it weren't (e.g., when I run into its range limit, or when the batteries run low) ... and it's just a little bit smaller than optimal for my hand ... but other than that I have to admit that I can't think of anything I would change. Sensitivity is good. Plenty of buttons and flexibiity for me. Driving the ball with my thumb means that I don't have to move my arm/hand when using it, so I can actually use the arm rest on my chair. Setup could not possibly have been any easier (I set it up once on my 8-yr old XP Pro machine, and then again a few weeks ago on my brand new Win7 machine ... no sweat either time). The M570 is easily my favorite currently available pointing device. If it was about $15 cheaper I would buy one for work also.

Finally, an upgrade!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't bought this yet, but I've seen the reviews. More importantly, I saw this at another store, and they were out of stock, which was good because coming online allowed me to find this on sale. I've had a Logitech Trackman Marble, the ORIGINAL white, 3 button, thumb bal trackball for, well, I don't know how long. I'm quite certain it's been somewhere over 11 years, probably not 20, but certainly since close to when it first came out. It's been difficult to find a decent thumb ball trackball, and I've been wanting one with a scroll wheel as well. I GUARANTEE I'll be getting the M570, for use with my desktop AND my laptop, though I'll hang on to my Trackman because it has been loyal all this time. If the M570 is as well designed and put together as the reviews say and the Trackman has been, I don't see any other upgrades for me for at LEAST another decade. Way to go Logitech!

Missed it by THAT much
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using Logitech trackballs for more than 20 years because I find them to be much less physically stressful than conventional mice. I was thrilled when Logitech finally released a wireless version using their unifying receiver so that I could now use a wireless trackball and keyboard with one USB adapter that was small enough to leave plugged in to my laptop at all times. I love everything about this trackball EXCEPT...and this is a design choice on Logitech's part...the lack of a tilt scroll wheel. That's the only downside to this otherwise excellent product.

Excellent upgrade to my old TrackMan
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used Logitech Trackman trackballs for over 14 years and could not be a happier Logitech customer. This new M570 trackball is a good upgrade with easy-to-install wireless, small USB connector and now featuring forward/back buttons right on the trackball. As a tendonitis sufferer a trackball is an absolute must in order for me to remain productive. I believe that if more people used Logitech trackballs there would be fewer workplace repetitive stress injuries among IT and data entry workers .

Great Trackball, as usual from Logitech
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using Logitech trackballs for CAD design since the late 90's and this wireless model has met my standards. Easy setup, easy learning curve, great feel. I would only improve on the two assignable buttons on top of the Left Main as they are not the best design for larger hands. I dont use them so no loss but worth mentioning. Yes, I would buy this again and recommend it.

Awsome!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Trackball mouse ever. No Giant USB Cord for the Wireless Reciever like Logitec usually does with their Trackballs. It's just a little half-inch USB Reciever. It's slightly smaller than the origianal Trackball mouse but it's easy getting used to. There are the Back and forth buttons next to the left mouse button that may get in the way but it's also easy to get used to those and they come in handy....."When" you remember to use them.
