This is without a doubt the best wireless trackball on the market. It works as advertised and also works great on Ubuntu.

I use this with my laptop while on the road, the receiver is small enough that I don't have to remove it from my computer when I transport it, and the trackball unit itself has a power switch to save the battery when it's packed. It is also very light and easy to pack and carry. And if you don"t want to keep the receiver in your computer, there is even a slot under the battery cover to store it.

Its a very nice product. The trackball is smooth and easy to use. If you work in a small space and you don't have much room to move around your mouse, this product is for you. Very happy with this purchase.

I actually have two of these and they are great. It is so much easier to roll the ball with your thumb than to have to move an entire mouse to put your cursor where you want it.

I've been using this type of mouse for years and love it. The best thing about this updated version is the wireless connector. It really is wireless. It is so small you can but it inside the mouse for safe keeping. Great for laptops.

I've used trackballs for many years and this is by far the best yet. I hope they never discontinue these as I would be devastated as I am dependant on the trackball.

This is a trackball I have certainly gone out of my way to buy because I love everything about it. I have never had any issues with it connecting. The forward and back buttons serve a convienent way to go back and foward on web pages. The wheel and ball movement, once you get to use it, is very smooth and accurate. I wish the wheel had left/right scrolling. I also like the ablity to remove the ball to clean it. I love the ability to connect other Logitech wireless devices using the same Bluetooth Wireless adapter supplied (Unifying receiver) freeing up USB ports.

I use this mouse in two computers, and the process of pairing is so easy, I tried it in MAC OS, Ubuntu and Windows and in all of them it pairs in a quick and easy way

With two monitor screens, the track ball is great in going from one to the other. Using the thumb instead of having to keep swiping the mouse to move from one to the other works great. My only gripe and the reason i gave it a 3 vs. 5 star is that Logitech did not bother to have a free wheeling wheel like they have with the standard mouse. Thus it is a pain to have to keep swiping the wheel to move it up or down vs. letting it free wheel so you can zip up and down quickly. I was a champion of this mouse in the beginning, but now looking for a replacement;

I purchased this mouse thinking it would only last me a week but I stuck with it and I love. The mouse ball glides with such precision making it easy to use.

I've used this mouse and one like it, same brand, for years. I got tired of trying to find a place to roll my mouse around. Plus, this is great it you have tendonitis. Your hand, fingers, thumb fit right on it and you just click or roll around the screen. Another great feature is the forward and backward button. You don't have to go to the top of the screen and click on the arrows. It can scroll 3 lines at a time or a page at a time, you can program it anyway you want! There are many great features about this mouse. Make sure to turn off the scroll pad on your laptop if your using one. It will interfere with ANY mouse.

I ordered it based on the good review. It is with good build quality however, I tried for couple of days and end up has to return it because I am not able to control the mouse movement accurately with my thrumb. Simple task like closing windows or switching browsing tabs are not easy.

needed a new trac ball, saw this did not realize it was wireless. so am able to use it with my desk top and lap top. works well.

Wireless trackball proven great for my home entertainment setup (Mac mini/big screen tv/couch). Normal mouse or trackpad wasn't cutting it, but this is working out great. Plug n play with a small usb transmitter for the wireless connection.

I have been using this mouse for over 5 years now. I went trough multiple sets. When ones goes bad I buy a new one. Best Buy had the same price but also free fast shipping so I chose Best Buy Sets the stress on shoulders and wirst free.

Small enough to be portable, and good for use with laptop when surface space is limited. Very easy to set up. Plugged it in and it worked immediately.

Just bought my third one today. Love the contour which fits hand very well combined with button layout. Just all around great for hours of use at work or home.

I am a user of the old Microsoft Trackball Opticals. They have been discontinued and in trying to find a replacement to my aging trackballs, I tried the Logitech. One thing that is missing is additional programmable buttons for more then just your index finger. There are two on the Logitech between the left click and the trackball, but nothing for the other fingers, but that's not too much of a deterrent for buying it as most people are comfortable with just two. I have very big hands though and found the the short body length of this trackball with the pronounced hump on the middle causes my hand to become sore after more than 5-10 minutes of use to where I had to switch back to my Microsoft trackball or my Logitech standard optical mouse. I'm sure if they would have made the bulge on top a lot less pronounced on top it would be more comfortable to use.

I was so excited to get a new wireless trackball by logitech. It works well but for the trackball enthusiast, there are some problems. One is that the width of the left ad right mouse buttons are smaller then the wired logitech trackballs. The other is the addition of the forward and back button to the left of the left mouse button. These will get in the way if you plan on gaming with this mouse. Other then that it is a good product.

I use a laptop and really like this wireless mouse. It works without any problems, was quick to readjust to, and is very comfortable. I love Logitech products.
