easy to use and install software,its real nice to have a user friendly mouse with a ball

This trackball is very reliable. It works with a very small USB device that I usually just leave plugged into the computer. The trackball is much move convienient to use than the trackpad on my laptop. Plus you do not have to wory about what type of surface you set it on like a regular mouse. I like it so much that I have bouth 3 of them. One for work, one for home and one for my spouse's computer.

I love the thumb roller ball on this mouse. The ball is really big and easy to use!

I don't like thumb ball mouse, but my wife loves them. She says it is so much easier for her to use and doesn't hurt her wrist as much as a normal mouse.

This device sits in one spot. It doesn't matter what surface is used on...I can lay back in a recliner and have this controller comfortably sitting on my chest and do everything I need and do it better and easier than with a standard mouse. The ball is thumb-controlled and the whole thing fits the hand like a glove. The software lets you assign buttons and make custom adjustments to suit your individual needs as to how the pointer moves, how fast, how far, etc. I have bought many of these for myself and as gifts. It will take a little practice to get the feel of the controller but once you do, nothing else compares. I am not associated with Logitech in any way. I'm simply a very satisfied user and customer. To make this an even better controller I would like to see the addition of a tilting wheel function to scroll pages right and left.

Not having alot of space, the wireless trackball mouse is perfect. The M570 is very light and can feel almost flimsy at first while holding in hand, but is sturdy on surface while in use, which is what matters. Easy to use and easy on the hand and wrist.

This is my 3rd one. My mom who is technologically inclined, my laptop and desktop. Just excellent alternative to the mouse. It was a blessing when I broke my wrist and could not move hand around.

I like the thumb ball mouse but this is my second one in less than 2 years. The left button quit working on my other one and i looked everywhere for my reciept but couldnt find it so i went back to Best Buy and bought another one even though they have a 3 year warranty. Just remember to keep your reciept and i think you will like this mouse. I have had the wired mouse ,same style same make for years and it still works great so hoping the last wireless one was just a fluke. They take a little getting used to but i will never own anything other than a Thumb Ball again.

Easy to set up and use! No moving a mouse around trying to get it in the right place!

Bought it for my mom to use with her new laptop because I already have this trackball and have no issues. I don't know why people uses a mouse. With the trackball you don't have move your arm all over the place and re-position the mouse. This trackball has plenty of button to customize. It is comfortable to use. Your thumb won't get tired like you may think. This is a great alternative to a mouse.

I needed an alternative to a "normal" mouse for medical reasons. I had previously used a wired trackball (the predecessor to this model) when I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel. Recently I was diagnosed with "mouse elbow", which is tennis elbow for people who don't play tennis but use a mouse extensively. Since I am in IT I use a mouse 8-12 hours a day, by putting a trackball on one computer I can vary the motion I use during the day between input types, which reduces the repetitive motions of my arm. The trackball allows for different muscles to control your actions making it ideal for this need. There is some adjustment needed for the fine mouse control a user might be used to, since the movement is controlled by the thumb instead of the motion of the hand/arm. The ball rolls smoothly and the buttons are conveniently place and click easily. I have a fairly large hand and am still comfortable and do not feel like the unit is too small.

The track ball was a key decision factor love it.that's what was missing for me.

I prefer trackball over traditional mouse and this one works well and is wireless

Perfect for right handed web surfing! I love it, my wife hates it.

I'm a new programming student and needed a mouse for school. The M570 fit my needs perfectly. It's small and portable, has amazing battery life and syncs with the USB dongle with no problem. And you can't beat the footprint with a track ball.
