All desktop computers nowadays seem to come with cheap mice and keyboards and upgrading is almost always neccessary. After using a traditional wireless mouse and keyboard these past couple years, going to this Logitech set is great! Firstly, the slim design is great as it is extremely compact and fits on my smaller desk great and the two toned grey color matches my computer perfectly. The amazing thing with this design is that the full functionality is still there as it still has the full number pad and 12 shortcut keys too. They actual feeling of the keys is great too as it isn`t like the newer butterfly keys where with this keyboard there is a good amount of travel with the keys so it feels comfortable while at the same time the keys are actually pretty quiet when typing compared to a traditional keyboard. The mouse is one item I was hesitant on due to the form factor, but after about an hour I was definitely used to it and I really like the feel of it now because it is so light and just overall easier to move. Overall, for the price I would definitely recommend this mouse and keyboard for anyone both looking for a mouse and keyboard to replace the cheap set that comes with new desktop computers and for those looking for an external mouse and keyboard for mobile devices or laptops as well because the form factor is great and functionality compares to that of a standard keyboard and mouse.

    Great Mouse Combo

I’ve always been a fan of Logitech PC accessories and that continues with this keyboard and mouse set. This set is absolutely a no frills keyboard mouse combo that gets the job done. There aren’t any fancy features for this set, rather it just works. The set uses one receiver that plugs into a USB port on your computer. I didn’t have any connectivity issues or problems getting started, I just plugged it in and it worked. It also came with batteries which is a huge plus. Keyboard: The keys are pretty flat, as is the whole keyboard. There is decent travel on the keys. Definitely not the best key travel I’ve ever used but, neither is it the worst. The keyboard is very light and easy to type on. I don’t have any major complaints here. Mouse: The mouse is really just ok. It’s a typical 2 button mouse with a scroll wheel. There’s no fancy buttons and don’t expect killer dpi. I don’t really care for the click travel on the mouse, it’s really soft and took me a second to get used to it. But, for a cheap mouse it gets the job done. Pros: - super easy to set up - includes batteries - inexpensive Cons: - mouse taps are too soft - keys too flat Overall if you just want an inexpensive keyboard mouse combo that works, this is the one to get.

Couple of notes on my review. First I have been a Logitech fan for 20 years. Second, I ordered this set for my 12 year old grandson as a project we could do together so much of what follows is from his comments and perspective. Like all Logitech products I have ever used, we were able to set this up by simply plugging in the included dongle. The laptop is running windows 10 home and recognition was instant. Really like the silent keys on the keyboard, much quieter than the laptop keyboard. Also impressed with the rapid response of the mouse. My grandson uses these for school work as well as gaming and he loved the response while running his favorite games. Of course because it is wireless, using the set is far more comfortable than using the laptop keyboard and touchpad, this means he can spend more time getting his homework done without becoming fatigued. Highly recommend this set for anyone looking for a reasonably priced set of wireless tools to use with a laptop

So I received this Logitech MK470 Slim Wireless Mouse& Keyboard the other day and been putting it through its paces. So far so good. I'm actually typing on the keyboard at the moment and the keys are very responsive and not hard like some other keyboards. It's very comfortable to type on this keyboard and I love that it has the expanded keypad to the right. Very slimlined and seems like a solid keyboard that can be used for practically anything. Just pop th included Logitech USB adapter in and it automatically connects along with the Slim Wireless Mouse. The mouse is very slim almost flat like. Not totally a dealbreaker but something people with big hands must consider. The mouse is scrolls very easily with no hesitation and glides easily. Great combo from Logitech and I would recommend this to anyone looking to get rid of cords and wires. It just works and works well.

The Keyboard and mouse, look great and work very well. It is a very slim design with a ten-key, which is very important to what I use the keyboard for. It's very easy to set up and even easier to use. Great product.

    Good Keyboard and Mouse Combo

This is pretty good keyboard and mouse combo. The keyboard and mouse profile are compact and portable. Setup is super easy. Just plug and play and you're ready to go They keys on the keyboard are fairly quiet. The buttons on the mouse are very quiet as well. My biggest gripe is the bottom of the mouse. They advertise it as being whisper quiet, which the buttons definitely are. The feet on the bottom of the mouse are made of hard plastic. Moving it around on any surface is a lot louder than any other mouse I own. They have either rubber feet or soft plastic. Not hard plastic, which this mouse has. Moving it around on a hard surface or even a mouse pad is rather loud. It's somewhat of a deal breaker for me, and the reason why I did not give it 5 stars.

    Nice Keyboard, decent Mouse…

I've long been a big fan of Logitech keyboards and mice. I've been using the K360 keyboard for the past 7-8 years at home and work because I really have liked the compact layout, key locations and that it also includes a full-sized keypad. While I've thought this was the almost perfect keyboard, the new K470 keyboard, as a part of the MK470 Slim Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Combo, caught my eye. With the K470, the key layout is almost identical as the K360, but totally refreshed. There is just a little different design for the arrow keys (with half-sized up/down keys, which is taking a little while to get used to). The overall footprint is a little more narrow and a little shorter than the K360, but the keys themselves are a little bigger and the main part is actually slightly wider overall. It has a much lower profile and has a built-in, non-adjustable incline. It is much thinner, but, surprisingly, actually may weigh just little more. The keys are definitely very quiet when typing as advertised. I like that there is an [FN] key on the left side now (as well as the right side), and that they moved the FN-initiated context menu (same as mouse right-click) from the [Page Up] at the top-right down to the right [Ctrl] (I've had to use a keymapper to map the right alt key for the same function since I use it so much). There is a slide-off cover on the top edge (the lighter gray area) to access the batteries and a slot where you could store the nano receiver. With the K360, you could change the function of all 12 of the FN shortcut keys, but with the K470, you can only change the ones assigned to F1-F4 (using Logitech Options now instead of SetPoint). I really don't use the shortcut keys anyway, except for Sleep and Lock PC (on the K360), and the Sleep was not one of the default shortcut keys on the K470 (had to change a key to that function). One thing I would like to have seen is for the K470 to have been able to connect across multiple devices and have the option to connect via bluetooth, similar to the K780 (which I really wanted to get, but that one doesn't have dedicated Home or End keys, which I am always using as a programmer). It also doesn't have a power switch to turn the keyboard off when not in use, but it does mention it has an "Auto-sleep" feature, where the expected battery life for the keyboard is up to 36 months. The included slim wireless mouse isn't too bad, but since I normally use the Logitech M720 Triathlon/Pro Mouse (that can connect to 3 devices), I will probably just keep it as a backup mouse or to use when not at a desk. The mouse has a simple, flat design. There are only the Left and Right buttons and the clickable scroll wheel (which the function can be assigned in Logitech Options). The top cover, which is held in place by a three small magnets (on each side and the back), comes off to access the battery and a slot to store the nano receiver. The battery will last up to 18 months for the mouse. This combo is definitely a great choice not only for tight spaces, but for everywhere!

    Feels good, sounds cheap

I love the minimalistic look of keyboard, and it also has a nice feel to it. There is one flaw for me, however: the sound it makes. The keys sound very crunchy in a cheap way. Note that some keyboards are loud but in a satisfying way, but that is not the case with this. The shape of the keyboard also amplifies the sound if you are using this on a cheap desk. Basically it sounds like a $20 keyboard, not a $50 one. If the sound doesn't bother you then this will be fine. The mouse is excellent, however.

This does the job and is a great value for the price, but be wary that slim means slim. I personally wouldn't recommend this for regular use at home unless you have a confined space, but this is better for portability in my opinion. The mouse is super tiny for giant hands but again, is good for on the go use. Connectivity is seamless and it does look sleek. It's a good keyboard and mouse combo but I don't recommend it for your at-home set up.

The MK470 bundle is the lightest keyboard I have used to date. I love the feel of the keys and the portability of this keyboard is completely unmatched. I use this mainly on my Xbox One and for playing Minecraft and it is so much better than using a controller. The only real issue I have is the arrow keys are too close together to really be functional, that is why it gets 4 stars instead of 5. Overall it's a great bundle and a great price!

I really logitech products but this keyboard was not comfortable when typing for a long period of time. Also, ithe mouse is not comfortable in the palm. The build is solid and the keyboard buttons are nice when typing and there was no lag or delay while typing. The keyboard is compact and easy to pack and go if you want to take it with you. I would get this if you want a solid build keyboard.

I hear you! It's great that you find the Logitech MK470 keys comfortable to type on. That's definitely a major plus. While it might not be completely silent, it sounds like a big improvement over your previous keyboard. Less noise is always a good thing!

Easy setup, works fine but it has NO CAPS LOCK INDICATOR. NONE. ZERO. ZILCH. NADA. So when you're typing your password and it only displays dots you don't know you're screwing it up until the password doesn't work cuz you made a typo you couldn't see.

Between work and home, I have used and continue to use several keyboards and mouse combos. This one is different from my others; it is very small both in length and width and is very similar to that of a 13 inch laptop keyboard. It has all of the keys you would expect to see and use on any keyboard but with a slightly smaller form factor. The mouse is good. What I will say is that it is better suited for someone with smaller hands. To use it is the only way you can tell if it is for you. There are several Logitech mouses on the market or part of combo kits; this one is fine but takes some getting used to if you have been using others that may be a bit taller and / or wider as they fit more comfortably in the hand. Both devices have a great response rate and I have not experienced any issues with connectivity. As soon as I plugged in the USB receiver into the port, everything was recognized immediately and without the need to install any additional software or drivers. I would certainly recommend this keyboard and feel that the mouse will work for most users.
