Not what I thought it was going to be

I have been using ergonomic keyboards for years and I needed one for my work. After looking for a replacement, I found this and decided to give it a try because it was half the price of the Microsoft version (which isn't what I used to use, but it was the next best wireless option). Pros: Wireless (unifying receiver) Phenomenal mouse Lots of extra features Cons: Types horribly - heavy and feels cheap Not really ergonomic (maybe it wasn't supposed to be in the first place) - it's just wavy in terms of height and barely has a curve Odd placement of keys - pgup/pgdn/delete/etc. keys After trying to type on it for about a week, I was unimpressed and my wrists still ended up hurting, so back to the store it went.

    Good, and Bad

Well, I can't be quite as perky as some about this keyboard. For years, I've used variations of the Microsoft keyboard, but the quality of their build has gone down a bit (they make a creaking noise where you rest your wrist sometimes). Decided to try this one. The "wave" design isn't as split as a true ergonomic keyboard but is still more comfortable than a straight keyboard. It seems solidly built (no "creaking" so far). That said, the keys are SMALLER than on the Microsoft keyboards and has actually slowed my typing speed as a result. It's also a loud keyboard - the "clicking" sounds when typing is not at all discreet, and reminds me of more mechanical keyboards from years ago. The mouse is standard. Nothing to rave about but fine. My company paid for this as I'm using it for work, but to be honest, if it were coming out of my pocket, the smaller keys and noise would be enough for me to take it back for a refund, so I can't really recommend it.

Keyboard is good but mouse is for the right handed

    Posted .

I am left handed. I was so excited to open up my new keyboard and mouse and so completely annoyed when I realized that the mouse was set up so stupidly - I guess perhaps its ergonomic for a right handed person... but for a left-handed person like myself it is useless. What was the point of getting a mouse and keyboard combo if it's not for universal use? If you are going to market a combo product like this than the marketing should include that this is for RIGHT HANDED PEOPLE ONLY.

    Terrible for lefties

I've had the same keyboard before and liked it, so when mine wore out I wanted to replace it with the same thing. To my surprise, and dismay, when I got home and set it up, it turns out the mouse is now a right handed mouse. As a lefty, this is a total pain and disappointment. Using this mouse is completely awkward. Nice job Logitech. You'd think if its a right handed mouse it would be boldly printed on the package, not in small print on the bottom, as I found out too late. I would have given it a 5 because I really like the keyboard, but, screw Logitech for this idiocy. I am returning it.

Functionality and comfort is on point. Very disappointed the writing on the keys started to rub off after 6 months. Contacted customer service and they did replace the keyboard. Good response but this should not have happened ...at least not under a year.

    Not so Good

First off, it’s a Logitech, which for me is a major plus. I’ve had very good luck with Logitech products and usually never even look at the competitors when it comes to wireless products. This keyboard has some good features and lots of buttons that I simply don’t use. Installation was painless. After installing the batteries and the USB dongle, the computer recognized the keyboard and mouse immediately. My big complaint with this keyboard is that the keys have decals on them to identify the numbers and letters. The decals are reflective and when the light is just right, you can’t tell what they are. How long will it take before they wear off? Sadly, this keyboard is going back.

As this keyboard is UNLIT there is no way to tell if the caps are on or off. This keyboard wavy keys and noisy keys are not to my liking but okay to the wife.

    not the best ergonomic keyboard

    Posted .

I did not like this keyboard, i thought the ergonomics were bad as it was shaped in an weird angle with hardly any place for your palms and then the big logo logitech logo in the middle between your hands blocking your way.. the real reason i returned it was the mouse was finicky and would move when i tried to point it on something and loose. didnt like. returned for a microsoft 850 which is half the price and you can tell a lot more design money was put into it unlike this logitech

For some reason I had this keyboard at work, and it wasn't anything spectacular. I don't think mechanical keyboards are much better, but I'll keep looking.

    Major Lag, key sticking

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

My keyboard sits about 2 feet from the laptop shelf. The keyboard lags, sometimes get sticky keys where it double types the letters. Completely unreliable, especially for passwords. The mouse is fine, the keyboard is unusable. I recommend getting a replacement warranty if you have the 'guts' to purchase this set.

It worked for about a month, then it was terrible Keys not responding, having to replace batteries or turn on and off a few times a day. Mouse all over the place half the time. The price should have alerted me.

It appears if you break the receiver it cannot be replaced by Best Buy or Logitech. Check with Logitech first before purchasing this product and verify they make replacement parts (April 24,2017)
