Great trackball for new and old users

My old Logitech trackball finally gave up the ghost after more than a decade and so I went in search for a replacement and found the MX ERGO Plus. This is a great trackball for so many reasons: 1) Battery is rechargeable Li Ion with great battery life as before 2) The mount system allows for three different user wrist angles to eliminate issues associated with odd surfaces and for those who need a tilted base. I routinely find myself switching from one to another depending upon the circumstance of how I am using my trackball. The "fine control" button is amazing allowing for extremely precise placement of graphics or image editing. The ability to link two computers together through a single trackball is the final kicker and what then makes this trackball the ultimate best trackball ever made.

I love trackball mice and am glad that Logitech supports them. Although this product is rather pricey, I love the ergonomics, the angle adjustments, and the options to reassign the buttons. It works perfectly via Bluetooth (no skips or missed movements).

Really enjoy using this trackball when working from my laptop. Makes it super simple to navigate when there isn't much room to move a regular mouse. The ability to sit more upright is also very comfortable.

The trackball you might not know you need

I've been using trackballs for 30 years with games and various drawing programs including CAD other types of engineering software. Logitech managed to make the M570/M575 just a little bit better. While cordless, it becomes corded for a while until the battery recharges. Then it is good for several weeks again. The additional features are a bonus. The slow mode is great for doing fine control in drawing programs and the computer switching allows controlling both a laptop and a desktop with one unit.

I already own two of the MX series but when I had rotator cuff surgery, I needed something stationary and knew this would be amazing. I love the ability to support 2 devices via Bluetooth and the tilt options. You won't be disappointed!

    Great for work/home pc use

This trackball has made working from home infinitely easier for me. I can switch between work and home PCs by pushing the button. And I have never accidently switched so the button has good resistance against oops pushes. I didn't really like the extra "wedge" and it didn't stay in place good anyway. I have used the very similar trackball from Logitech that is wayyyyyy cheaper and made the mistake of buying an extra one for my work computer before seeing this MX ERGO that made both the others extraneous. Oh well. Trackball mice work so much better on a chair arm and this one really rocks. With the Logitech Bluetooth keyboard that can control three devices by switching a dial my work from home environment is finally satisfactory. Thanks

What can I say that Logi has not already! It can sit flat; at a 20 degree of tilt or add the foot and get 30 degree of tilt. It is meant for those with repetitive use syndrome or Carpal tunnel syndrome. Well I have neither, but i do have a Degenerative Nerve syndrome, and I thought that that mouse would help. It has in a way, however now I have developed like a tennis elbow type issue. this may be due to the lack of moving the mouse around, because of the ball; which I found out that if you use it flat, it has a tendency to like not make the correct contact with the inner workings of the mouse, but if you use it in the 20 degree offset mode or the 30 degree, it forces the ball back onto the contact points. Kind of a minor/ major issue, depending upon what your using the mouse for. Other than that, nothing wrong here. Logitech makes quality products, that has been my experience with them.

I got this because I have limited USB ports, but a Bluetooth on the computer, so adding this and using the mouse through Bluetooth was perfect. Plus, the ability to slant it and the precision button are great additions. Already purchased a spare!

Really good while it lasted. Left click button started doing the infamous double-click problem that these mice are known for about 2 years after purchasing. Everything else still works just fine, but the double-click problem makes it practically unusable. Other than that, this is my favorite mouse by far. Love the precision you get with the trackball and the ability to seamless switch between two computers. Perfect if you have a small space.

This is my favorite trackball in the market. I haven't used a "normal" mouse, ever. While this device category continues to shrink in options, Logitech keeps innovating with products like this. It's the best choice you have if you're into trackballs. I own several, scattered across our home and office spaces!

Great improvement over the base level with dongle

I'm a big fan of trackballs when working on large screens with high resolutions. The trackball allows me to flick the ball and make the cursor cover large distances with less strain and less time that mouses and trackpads. This particular one is great -- good weight; the three angle settings helped me find the most comfortable position. I use this with a newer Mac laptop, so I used the Bluetooth pairing instead of the dongle (the laptop does not have old USB ports, and the use of the dongle over a USB-C hub was too unreliable. Two issues: 1. the Logitech software is quite invasive, so I opted to use just the Bluetooth mouse configuration built into MacOS. This means I cannot customize the buttons. 2. the ball is quite difficult to pop out compared to previous models. I've resorted to using a chopstick because the eject hold's diameter is just a little too small for most stick like objects lying around an office.

If, like me, you have a thing for thumb-driven trackballs, this is your dream device. I've been using TrackMen[TM] for...geez...twenty plus years, I think, and this is by far the best. Love the angle adjustability and the slow/vernier mode, as well as the ability to pair it with two devices at the same time -- using it with my notebook and surface at the same time with the touch of a button, one using the dongle, and the other bluetooth. Both flawless. It's also the most solid-feeling pointing device I think I've ever had -- reminiscent of the kind of block-of-marble devices that used to be commonplace (think old IBM mechanical keyboard solid). A bit pricey, but well worth it, I think. Well done, Logi.

This trackball is awesome and great improvement over previous models. I've been using the logitech Trackball predecessors for years. Oh the comfort! I gave it a 4 for value because this model is on the higher end. I gave it a 4 for ease of use, because you have to be a trackball user to understand and appreciate the usability of this product. I keep a regular shake and wiggle mouse on hand for times when I'm collaborating and need to let someone else "drive". I call it my "Guest Mouse". My point id people just can't figure out how to use this product in 5 minutes. As for me I'm thinking of buying another one for my home office during COVID, since I had to leave this one at work.

I had an m75 before this, but here's my review. The ergo plate and extra wedge are awesome, really helped with certain positions. The extra button on the side is mappable, which is amazing. Gives you one extra function. No DPI switch, unless you map it to the button. The ball does take a bit of force to start rolling, therefore its not the most accurate when moving slowly. Fixed easily using the "precision mode" for the extra button. The switches are not as tactile as the m75, which I was slightly disappointed in. They also are very flush, so its hard sometimes to know if your hand is correct. Forward/back buttons are small and off to the side, a little too far away in my opinion. All in all, it's a great product. I've been using this style of trackball for years and years, I only wish they make a "gaming" version someday. Or at least improve the rollers the ball rests on to be smoother.

Ergonomic; double-click error after 1.75 years

This product was my first trackball. Ergonomics were great; the additional 10-degree wedge was good to use at times, and at times good not to use. I enjoyed the toggle connecting between two devices (e.g., work computer; personal computer). Unfortunately, after about 1.75 years of daily use, I started experiencing the double-click issue where the device registers a multiple click while holding down the primary click button. It seems to be a common issue for the product as far as what I can gather from Internet forums. So that's the only downside -- quite annoying that it happens quite often, so I'm going to look for another mouse/trackball.

i love this mouse. if your a track ball type this is the way to go. i like the look and feel and it has some weight that doesn't slide around. This would be perfect if stationary but not as a traveling mouse. although you can disconnect the heavy pad it clicks too.

I sit in a recliner to game, and I have a bad shoulder that was just getting worn out by the way my arm was positioned. Anymore the 30 minutes, and arm was screaming. I had been using Logitechs older trackball on and off for years, except I found it a bit clunky for gaming, but I decided to give the new Logitech trackball a shot. I'm not exaggerating when I say this mouse changed my life. After a week of using this mouse, I barley noticed any discomfort. After a month, my arm feels like it's finally starting to heal. The flexibility of wrist position really makes a diffrence and, even with short fingers, I don't strain to have full control.
