This is a great compromise betweeen a traditional mouse and an ergonomic one. The wheel is very smooth and the buttons click with little effort. It does take some getting used to if you've never used a trackball before. I do recommend that you use the angle plate that comes with it as that is what puts you into a better ergonomic position. Also, be sure to have your arm parallel to the surface your mouse is on for most ergonomic benefit. This is a great mouse. So much so that I have 2. One for home and one for travel.

As someone that spends all day on a computer for both work and fun, this mouse really helps me avoid RSI. For gaming I still use a traditional mouse, but for work this one is perfect. It's comfortable, no issues with connection, battery life is very long, and it easily gets the job done.

I had the previous Trackball (blue ball) which worked great. The biggest problem with the old one is it took the only USB on my laptop for the receiver. This new MX Ergo connects via Bluetooth. I love the multi-feature wheel. The new angle mount fits better in your hand rather than flat on the table. Highly recommend this unit

I use my laptop from my couch and i don't have room to move a mouse around. This is absolutely perfect. I can use my computer with no trouble, fighting with space to move my mouse around. It is smooth, lots of functionality, and ergonomic.

I find having to move a traditional mouse around a pad tiring and at times uncomfortable so I have been using a thumb controlled trackball style mouse for a very long time. And migrating to this latest generation of the Logitech has been fantastic. It looks and feels great, and the ergonomics are a vast improvement over the much older and earlier gen. model that I had been using. And the fact that it’s rechargeable is also a nice benefit. It just works for me and I have really been enjoying using it.

Best I've tried so far. A little overpriced, maybe. Then again I switch back and forth between desktop and laptop with it using bluetooth for laptop and wifi for desktop. So actually worth the money as it is taking the place of two. Also that is with Windows on Laptop and Linux on Desktop so yes it's compatible with both. Yeah, absolute favorite now that I think about it.

Bought this to try in place of my Apple Magic Mouse. My hand was getting sore using the mouse. The fit of the trackball seems to be helping. I have it connected to a Macbook Pro via bluetooth. I haven't tried to connect to multiple host via the usb thingy, but I will soon.

Perfect if you have to sit at a computer all day. I can switch between my work computer and home computer with the ease of a click. Best investment ever.

Very versatile. The adjustable tilt makes this super comfortable for daily use. I love the “switch from one computer to another” button, makes pairing with my devices quick and painless. I use a Mac. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in search of an ergonomic mouse!

My last roller mouse took a dive, so I upgraded to this one. It works really well for a small area, since you don't have to move it across a pad. The slow button feature makes it great for graphic editing. Rechargeable battery last for well over a week with heavy use. I've been very happy with it.

I love this mouse! I upgraded from a 2013 trackball model and this one is so comfortable! Excellent product. Used every day and only have to charge once every 8days. It's awesome it's Bluetooth too so it doesn't take up a valuable usb slot.

Pros: Can be postured to be more ergonomic and comes with an app. Posture remains with the strength of a magnet, very effective. Completely wireless. Battery lasts. Bluetooth connectivity without dongle is beneficial. Cons: Prior version had a stow away for dongle, however, this version does not.

Something about this mouse that I love, Ease of buttons use, roller ball, and just the right angle.

This is an awesome mouse hands-down. I happened to get it used for half price missing the bottom tilt plate. In a separate purchase I got the plate for cheap to complete. I control two separate computers easily with the switch. If you install the logitech software you can easily manipulate all the various button functions to your needs. I love it for the Mac because I hate the gesture mouse and including horizontal scroll. The mouse sits like a brick with the bottom plate and I have no use for the plus versions extra tilt angle. I also love the precise button by the thumb wheel which once youve gotten used to it you can control the Percision and set the options speed for your mouse to make it work for the resolution of the computer so that one swipe of the wheel gets you from the left side to the right of your display.

Overall it’s a good trackball mouse. Pro: relief of my wrist soreness. That was the intention switching to trackball. Con: it takes a lot of time getting used to the trackball. Once used to it, I’m still no where near as fast using excel as regular mouse. I don’t think it’s possible or else all the gamers will be using trackball instead of mouse. Surface is slippery. Pinky is always resting on table instead of on trackball mouse surface since it is tilted at an angle. More surface grip would be nice. If you can accept the fact that user speed experience will be slower, it’s a good trackball. Prevent wrist injury is more important than speed.

This DEFINITELY works for me. It's wireless...a huge plus for me. I have big hands and this is a plus as well for users such as myself. I like the options of being able to tilt the mouse. This just works for me!!!

I bought this device to aid in relieving my carpal tunnel symptoms. So far it has done exactly that. I am able to manipulate the track ball with little to no pain in my hand. Thank you Logitech for developing an ergonomic mouse that is easy to use and painless to operate.
