Love this style of mouse. Excellent features. I especially love the quick button for slowing the cursor down to do precision work. The 3 separate degrees of tilt function is great for when you feel stiff and relieves some of the pressure from the wrist. Logitech needs to better dongles for their Bluetooth though. It has to be in direct line of sight or it creates connection issues. If you can manage that setup, it’s an excellent mouse.

I love trackball mice and am glad that Logitech supports them. Although this product is rather pricey, I love the ergonomics, the angle adjustments, and the options to reassign the buttons. It works perfectly via Bluetooth (no skips or missed movements).

I already own two of the MX series but when I had rotator cuff surgery, I needed something stationary and knew this would be amazing. I love the ability to support 2 devices via Bluetooth and the tilt options. You won't be disappointed!

I got this because I have limited USB ports, but a Bluetooth on the computer, so adding this and using the mouse through Bluetooth was perfect. Plus, the ability to slant it and the precision button are great additions. Already purchased a spare!

I'm a big fan of trackballs when working on large screens with high resolutions. The trackball allows me to flick the ball and make the cursor cover large distances with less strain and less time that mouses and trackpads. This particular one is great -- good weight; the three angle settings helped me find the most comfortable position. I use this with a newer Mac laptop, so I used the Bluetooth pairing instead of the dongle (the laptop does not have old USB ports, and the use of the dongle over a USB-C hub was too unreliable. Two issues: 1. the Logitech software is quite invasive, so I opted to use just the Bluetooth mouse configuration built into MacOS. This means I cannot customize the buttons. 2. the ball is quite difficult to pop out compared to previous models. I've resorted to using a chopstick because the eject hold's diameter is just a little too small for most stick like objects lying around an office.

I've owned a ton of iterations of Logitech's trackball mice over the years and like the others, the MX Ergo Plus is an excellent unit. I actually wasn't expecting the magnetic metal plate at the bottom (didn't quite read through the specs there lol), so that was a really pleasant surprise. The magnetic plate helps you easily switch between a more upright or flat hand placement. The thumb button on the side is set to a very clever "precision" mode, that essentially lowers the DPI if you're doing something like taking a peculiar screenshot or highlighting text. Of course, all of the mouse buttons can be customized with the Logitech Options+ (free) app. I've programmed the up and down button to be a Cmd + C and Cmd + V function for copy/paste, while the left and right scroll wheel button are set to Cmd + Option + Left and Cmd + Option + Right to switch tabs quickly. It's the perfect mouse for my virtual office setup, fits great on a lap desk and doesn't slide the cursor all over the place when I change positions. Excellent job, as usual from Logi!

Ergonomic; double-click error after 1.75 years

This product was my first trackball. Ergonomics were great; the additional 10-degree wedge was good to use at times, and at times good not to use. I enjoyed the toggle connecting between two devices (e.g., work computer; personal computer). Unfortunately, after about 1.75 years of daily use, I started experiencing the double-click issue where the device registers a multiple click while holding down the primary click button. It seems to be a common issue for the product as far as what I can gather from Internet forums. So that's the only downside -- quite annoying that it happens quite often, so I'm going to look for another mouse/trackball.

If, like me, you have a thing for thumb-driven trackballs, this is your dream device. I've been using TrackMen[TM] for...geez...twenty plus years, I think, and this is by far the best. Love the angle adjustability and the slow/vernier mode, as well as the ability to pair it with two devices at the same time -- using it with my notebook and surface at the same time with the touch of a button, one using the dongle, and the other bluetooth. Both flawless. It's also the most solid-feeling pointing device I think I've ever had -- reminiscent of the kind of block-of-marble devices that used to be commonplace (think old IBM mechanical keyboard solid). A bit pricey, but well worth it, I think. Well done, Logi.

Sent from the heavens! Switched from MX Master 3 due to repetitive motion strain in my wrist which was limiting my function and capabilities of my dominant hand due to pain. No regrets! Over a month and a half and my writ is healing naturally and shoulders/neck are loosening up as well. Took about one working day to get the hang of the tracking ball. High hopes LogiTech will revise this model the the scrolling wheel of the MX Master 3 as this scroller is clunky.

This trackball is awesome and great improvement over previous models. I've been using the logitech Trackball predecessors for years. Oh the comfort! I gave it a 4 for value because this model is on the higher end. I gave it a 4 for ease of use, because you have to be a trackball user to understand and appreciate the usability of this product. I keep a regular shake and wiggle mouse on hand for times when I'm collaborating and need to let someone else "drive". I call it my "Guest Mouse". My point id people just can't figure out how to use this product in 5 minutes. As for me I'm thinking of buying another one for my home office during COVID, since I had to leave this one at work.

I had an m75 before this, but here's my review. The ergo plate and extra wedge are awesome, really helped with certain positions. The extra button on the side is mappable, which is amazing. Gives you one extra function. No DPI switch, unless you map it to the button. The ball does take a bit of force to start rolling, therefore its not the most accurate when moving slowly. Fixed easily using the "precision mode" for the extra button. The switches are not as tactile as the m75, which I was slightly disappointed in. They also are very flush, so its hard sometimes to know if your hand is correct. Forward/back buttons are small and off to the side, a little too far away in my opinion. All in all, it's a great product. I've been using this style of trackball for years and years, I only wish they make a "gaming" version someday. Or at least improve the rollers the ball rests on to be smoother.

    Elimitate Arm Fatigue!

I sit in a recliner to game, and I have a bad shoulder that was just getting worn out by the way my arm was positioned. Anymore the 30 minutes, and arm was screaming. I had been using Logitechs older trackball on and off for years, except I found it a bit clunky for gaming, but I decided to give the new Logitech trackball a shot. I'm not exaggerating when I say this mouse changed my life. After a week of using this mouse, I barley noticed any discomfort. After a month, my arm feels like it's finally starting to heal. The flexibility of wrist position really makes a diffrence and, even with short fingers, I don't strain to have full control.

i love this mouse. if your a track ball type this is the way to go. i like the look and feel and it has some weight that doesn't slide around. This would be perfect if stationary but not as a traveling mouse. although you can disconnect the heavy pad it clicks too.

Got this to replace one that broke after less than a year. Was hesitant on the "ergonomic design" but after using it, I had to get the same as a replacement. I hope this one lasts longer than the first but the Best Buy Warranty should take care of that. Good value only if on sale.

I was a little hesitant to spend this much on a mouse. After all, how much better could it be? As someone who has never used a trackball, this took a little bit of time for me to get used to it. But now I love this thing. I'm on the computer all day for work and I can't live without it. I like the ability to be able to use it on two different devices. Its pretty simple to switch from one to the other by clicking on the middle button below the wheel. My only gripe, I wish it came with a case. But then it would also probably cost more.

The Logitech MX ERGO plus is a fantastically form fitting functional mouse. I literally fly through my work, with the roller ball rotating 360 degrees and my thumb, index and other fingers R clicking and such. Love the form, the function ensures my laptop work in word, excel and reviewing contract documents goes 90 miles per hour.
