For many the first hurdle will be getting used to a mouse that doesn't move. This does take a little adjustment time. I have had two M570 models but the added ability to tilt up to 30-degress does take stress out of the wrist joint, thus decreasing potential carpel tunnel as the wrist and arm are in a more natural position. The ergonomic design fits well into the palm of the hand whether male or female. The scroll wheel on this model can now scroll left-right, a very nice feature. Also the ability to change the speed of the cursor at the touch of a button so as to move nearly pixel by pixel; a great idea for editing photos, graphic designs or doing art. A very good addition to the Logitech lineup.

My wife loves it. Love that it has 3 angles. No batteries are needed just charged. Very easy to get used to it and to set up. She won't be going back to a regular mouse. Highly recommend.

Works fine. Ergonomic design helps my hand. Since it's a trackball, it *could* be wired instead of wireless, avoiding all connection hiccups and reduce the price. I keep mine plugged in all the time anyhow to keep the battery charged.

This mouse has allowed me to use my computers as much as I want. As a decades-long programmer, I've spent a lot of time moving the cursor with mouses and track pads. I'm right handed and once I developed pain in the right arm while on the computer, I shifted to the left side. Recently I developed pain on the left thumb when using the computer and track pad. I bought this mouse and am back using the right hand and am able to use the computer for long stretches again. It can be paired with two different computers so am able to use it with the desktop and the laptop. Nice that one can rest the mouse on a person's lap and do all needed computer navigation from there (until it's time to type).

WOW this is the best Trackball I have used. Especially with the angled based, really helps with your hand position. Bluetooth is a super plus if you only have one USB input, comes with the standard USB receiver

Definite upgrade on the wireless trackball

If --like me -- you've preferred trackballs over mice, and liked the Logitech thumb-operated ball... this is a worthwhile upgrade. For my use, there aren't any huge changes in functionality, but there is a bit more precision. And, at a computer that's plagued by cat hair, the smaller gap between ball & mount seems to be keeping the cat fuzz out better than the M570 I'd been using. On the downside... if it ever does build up, and require cleaning, there's no easy access hole to pop the ball out. Jury's still out on the benefit of the tilting base. It definitely is clever, and stays stable in the "rotated" position... I'm just not sure how much less wear 'n' tear on my wrist it's providing. We'll see...

    Trackball mice still reign supreme!

I've owned a ton of iterations of Logitech's trackball mice over the years and like the others, the MX Ergo Plus is an excellent unit. I actually wasn't expecting the magnetic metal plate at the bottom (didn't quite read through the specs there lol), so that was a really pleasant surprise. The magnetic plate helps you easily switch between a more upright or flat hand placement. The thumb button on the side is set to a very clever "precision" mode, that essentially lowers the DPI if you're doing something like taking a peculiar screenshot or highlighting text. Of course, all of the mouse buttons can be customized with the Logitech Options+ (free) app. I've programmed the up and down button to be a Cmd + C and Cmd + V function for copy/paste, while the left and right scroll wheel button are set to Cmd + Option + Left and Cmd + Option + Right to switch tabs quickly. It's the perfect mouse for my virtual office setup, fits great on a lap desk and doesn't slide the cursor all over the place when I change positions. Excellent job, as usual from Logi!

Best trackball ever, I really like the fact that I can share between two PC's so helpful just with a push of a button. The ergo feature is cool and the trackball runs for long time on single charge. Worth every penny!!

I got this due to cramping issues with my traditional mice (I have several which I switch between as discomfort grows). I had a trackball and a thumb trackball years ago so decided to try this one. It is comfortable, the multi angle feature allows me to vary my grip instantly. I find the forward and back buttons (to the left of the left click) somewhat unergonomically placed, I have to move my index finger off the left click to use it. The ball itself could have a bit of resistance, curser control is dependent upon impeccable motor control of your thumb, something I no longer possess. That said, I am still retraining my muscle memory not to move it around the mouse pad and improve thumb navigation...I'll get it eventually.

Love this thing, and it's also got a quick swap if you use 2 computers. takes a lot of pain out of my hand, and personally, I prefer to use this when playing WoW. My only complaint is I wish you could lock the lift in place, sometimes it falls and I have to pop it back up. The little extra lift is provided in the BB model, it's nice.... but the mouse is constantly sliding off it so I don't really use it. It also should lock in to be useful

Purchased the MX ERGO to address the wrist pain I had while using traditional mice. I was skeptical at first, but the combination of the angle adjustment and ball navigation are quite good. I originally thought my productivity would be drastically lowered due to the lack of extra buttons, but the logitech software allows for the buttons to have up to 5 additional functions tied to them via gestures. There are also no issues with tracking I have experienced in the month I have used the mouse. I cannot speak of its gaming capability (as I haven't had the opportunity to play games with it), but it's quite the boon in office. The build of the product is great with a matte feel and decent heft. Again, the angle adjustment of the MX ergo makes it really comfy. The only issue is a bit warmth that develops at the palm over extended use. I am not sure what causes this. Highly recommended.

I got this on a whim after a few online reviews saying that it was a good trackball and I was interested in trying something new; I usually haven't given trackballs a shot because they seem so in the way and are often imprecise in my experience. Also I was bound out for a 15 hour train ride, and the last time I used a mouse in my seat, it didn't go well (I stubbornly refuse to use the trackpad on my laptop). It definitely is a learning process to get used to this, I would say about a week before I felt like it was second nature. But it eventually became comfortable to me, even more than the trusty mouse I usually use. The precision mode is perfect to click in stubborn text boxes and where I need a pixel-by-pixel click. The scroll wheel works perfectly, and it has all the buttons I'm used to with a Logitech mouse. The only hassle so far is the occasional cleaning of the ball, but not too bad. The one-star knockoff is pretty much still my getting used to the form factor of this trackball.

Great wireless mouse. The angle adjustment works great to fit your hand and it responds fast with no lag. The entire reason why I want the track ball. Charge lasts a long time. Definitely worth the money.

The Logitech MX ERGO plus is a fantastically form fitting functional mouse. I literally fly through my work, with the roller ball rotating 360 degrees and my thumb, index and other fingers R clicking and such. Love the form, the function ensures my laptop work in word, excel and reviewing contract documents goes 90 miles per hour.

The battery life is great so far, I just wish it had a USB-C port for charging. Other than that it's a little bulky so might not be a good fit for smaller hands.
