This Logitech MX is a night and day difference compared to any keyboard I've had before at home or work. It is solid and does not move, the keys are smooth and silent and the drivers and SW are super easy to configure and customize. When typing I almost don't even realize there is a keyboard under my fingers, its interface is seamless for typing, which is perfect. Logitech has obviously spent years slowly figuring out the best layout and I think they've found it. Just get this you won't regret it.

MX Keyboard Review with Mac Studio comments

The keyboard is great. I love the feel of the keys. Most Important I find the backlighting the biggest feature. The inclusion of backlighting on Logi keyboards keeps me using them over the Apple Keyboards. The Mac Studio M1 Max machine is a beast. I am running Mac OS playing 4k Apple TV video and playing a racing game in Apple Arcade. This in Parallel(s) to a Windows 11 Virtual Machine running the DIRT video game in Steam while steaming 4k Video on Youtube in Microsoft Edge. While this is going on I am running a Fedora Linux Virtual machine streaming 4k YouTube video in Firefox browser while running a SNES emulator playing Super Mario Kart. Granted you can't simultaneously play 3 games at once but at any point I could mouse over to any of the games. Click into the window to bring that game to the forefront and resume playing with the Bluetooth connected PS4 controller. With all of this going on I saw no blips in ANY rendered windows. I had 2 monitors hooked up so I could see all items running simultaneous in Mac OS and Windows. I had to swipe over to the Linux screen to see that performance. EVERYTHING ran smooth as butter and ready for this >> using 34-48 % CPU, 25GB of 32GB of Memory (Windows VM used 11GB). My system monitor showed 125 degrees (F) across all cores. Energy used was 25 watts! An equivalent Intel based iMac Machine running half of what I was running tonight would have been spinning all fans at full power and bogging down. During my tests the RPMs were reported at 1300 RPMs and I don’t hear a thing. Hats off to Apple and their design of Apple Silicon. Now if their Software Team could deliver at the level that the Hardware team does then Apple would be untouchable.

This is fairly quiet. Very firm and doesn't slap around on the desk. Great battery. You can charge it and use it at the same time. No qualms with this

I purchased this keyboard to replace a "cheap" Logitech unit that was becoming uncomfortable to type with. Immediately after removing it from the box, it was a 100+% increase in premium feel. The top isn't metal like the often-white keyboard it imitates, but it's very heavy and solid feeling. There's very little (if any) deck flex and I can type on it for hours without getting fatigued. The keycaps are a little odd, being dished instead of flat, but I got used to it fairly quickly and have no qualms about that feature. The keypresses are light, yet firm enough to where resting your fingers on them won't depress them down. Typing is quiet despite the ever-present feedback the keys give you. It's no mechanical unit, but it's great nevertheless. The wireless is great, I personally use it with the 2.4G dongle but the bluetooth pairing seems easy enough. I was able to follow along the instructions to get it to show up in my BT devices but decided that the dongle was much easier to work with. Plug'n'play and all that. At first I used the keyboard with Linux (Fedora 34, to be exact) and while the Logitech software is not available for that platform, the program `Solaar` worked perfectly and was able to report battery usage (albeit in the form of "good" and "low" but that's better than nothing!). Obviously configuring things was lacking some features with that software being open source, but again, better than nothing. Upon switching to an M1 Mac mini, the software was MUCH better. All of the macros could be assigned and a bunch of settings could be changed. I was honestly surprised how well the keyboard can switch between Mac, Linux, and Windows. Having 3 profiles is cool too, but not sure how exactly it can be paired with 3 devices at once. I'm sure it's in the manual somewhere. Battery life is really good, I've charged it probably only 3 times since I got it a few months back. USB-C is nice, since that's what everything else is going to now that means you can charge it with whatever charger you want. Overall, great keyboard for the price. Only way you can get a better wireless keyboard is to spend more money!

First rate Bluetooth keyboard with a premium feel. Out of the box this thing just feels quality. The keys, the weight of the keyboard which makes it feel like it's not going to just blow away like most other wireless devices. USB C Charging port at the top of the device is also nice. Ultimately the only annoyance I have with this keybaord is the Mac/Windows dual markings on the system keys, but I knew that going into it because it's made to work well for either type of user.

Incredible Keyboard for All My Devices

The Logitech MX Keys cordless keyboard is the best keyboard I've ever purchased for work. I paired this with an MX Anywhere mouse and now I'm smooth sailing in productivity. Heck, they only need 1 usb dongle to connect to both devices now. Match made in heaven. Unboxing: The first thing I noticed when I picked up the box for this keyboard was MAN THIS IS PRETTY HEAVY. I was not expecting the heft when I lifted with one arm. Placing it on my desk, it is solid and doesn't slide around which is important to me. It feels very well built and I don't see it breaking any time soon. Design: The design of this keyboard is remarkable. You can tell that they took care into making this product. Every keystroke just felt right, like the concaves were meant for my fingers to be there. The angle is also perfect for me. The travel distance is perfect and does not feel unnatural to me at all. The keyboard is back lit and turns on as soon as you put your fingers on it. Just a neat feature for those that work at night. I haven't tested the battery life, but if its like all my other logitech devices, I'm sure it will last a long time and luckily it is rechargeable. Features: My favorite feature of this device is the customizability, the fast switching to other devices, and Logitech Flow. Logitech options gives options to change a few of the keystrokes to do other functions which is handy if there are certain things I deem useless and would like it to be something else. The quick button to switch to another device is amazing. I can move to my tablet or another keyboard with a button press as long as I have already paired my keyboard to said device. I can now use my Samsung Galaxy Tab in DeX mode to fully replace a laptop if i need to. Logitech Flow is the main star here. Being able to seemlessly move between all 3 paired devices is a technology I've never used before ever and its a game changer. I can switch between work and play computers without having to go through any basketball hoops if I need to transfer files or more. Overall Thoughts: I have not owned the keyboard for that long, but I know it is a game changer in my work life. The design is hefty and well crafted with the end user in mind. Being able to switch devices with a button eliminates the need to extra specialty devices. Since it connects bluetooth or by usb, it's compatible with legacy devices.

Obsessed with this keyboard. I work across three different PCs\Macs and need to be able to switch from one to the other easily. I loved my Apple Magic Keyboard but it required disconnecting/reconnecting in settings every time I switched machines. The Logi keyboard is one-touch setting to switch between up to three computers. It has a little more keystroke depth than a Magic Keyboard and no TouchID, but it is extremely well built and comfortable to work on.

I wasn't sure if I'd like this keyboard due to it's size, but to me it's perfect! Very good key travel. Recharged battery lasts a very long time, although I don't have the backlighting on very bright. It's got some weight to it, but that's a good thing! It doesn't travel around my desk when I'm typing. The built in KVM works perfectly with the MX Master 3 mouse! I switch between my Mac mini and my Windows 10 computer without any problems. Yes it's a little expensive, but I feel its worth it!

Overall, I love this keyboard. I am a writer who types for long periods of time, so the way a keyboard feels is important to me, not only for comfort but for typing accuracy. The construction of the device feels solid, and the angle of the keyboard even without a palm rest feels nice. The battery life is awesome. I fully charged it the day I got it, and over a month has gone by without having to charge it again. And that is saying a lot with how much I type. The only downside is is a pretty annoying. Every now and then, the device just loses connectivity. Which is really annoying when I have just woken my iMac up and am attempting to type my password in. I basically have to get my magic keyboard out to type my password, remove MX keys from my bluetooth devices and pair it with my iMac again. The same goes for the MX Master 3, which I also purchased the same day, but I'll review that device as well. Removed a star for the annoying connectivity issue with Mac, otherwise a great keyboard.

I love the build and feel of this keyboard. It is solidly built, not that cheap feeling you get from many keyboards. Battery life is exceptional. The auto backlight sensors detect your hands over the keyboard and turn backlighting on/off accordingly. This helps with battery consumption. Charging is fast and easy with the USB-C port. I have reassigned a few of the keys for Cut and Paste making repetitive operations a breeze. Key feel is firm, not sloppy. Overall, the best keyboard I have owned for the office.

After reading numerous reviews, from various websites, I decided to take a chance on this keyboard. I am very happy with my choice. The keys have a need feel, with no loud "clacking" loved by gamers. I have only been using it for about 2+ weeks but the battery indicator still shows it as fully charged. Being able to recharge, with a USB-A to USB-C cable is a nice plus. The build quality is what you would expect for a $100 keyboard. It is fairly heavy and doesn't slide around on my desk.
