One minor problem is, sometimes, whenever I hold down volume keys, they get stuck and unable to change volume from that point on. Have to restart the keyboard to work again.

A Rather Awesome Keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a big fan of Logi’s computer input devices - and their MX Keys did not disappoint. As it stands, it’s a ‘normal’ sized keyboard that can connect to Bluetooth or a Logi pairing dongle (up to three devices). To the most important feature, typing on it feels pretty nice - the keys feel responsive and are remarkably like typing on a higher-end laptop keyboard. It comes packed with the ability to link to three different devices - up to and including your phone. Logi has also worked to add a rather impressive feature for a wireless keyboard - backlighting. Each key has a backlight such that you can work in low light conditions with ease. The claim is that the keyboard will last for 10 days with the backlight on. But fret not - Logi also added a solar sensor to the keyboard; when bright enough, the backlight will automatically turn off and save the battery, allowing a reported battery life of five months with. Having the solar sensor built-in is a nice touch, however in practice I did find that sometimes the keyboard would “forget” my backlight settings and turn it on randomly. Not a huge issue for the 20 minutes a day I work where it is dark enough to need it, but it is concerning to note that the keyboard can forget a basic preference so easily. Charging it can be done via USB C (nice to see everyone going for that standard now). I’ve not had to charge it in the few weeks of use that I’ve had it going for, but it’s nice to see that now my keyboard can use the same charger as my phone. The only complaints I have about the keyboard are mostly cosmetic. The buttons in the top right corner (calculator, print screen, and lock computer) are all in icon format - which can take a second for me to switch to mentally. I also wish that they had used the Windows icon in place of the word “start” at the bottom left corner of the keyboard. My biggest complaint is something that I can’t just ignore as easily though. The keyboard is a fixed, slightly shallow angle. I would have loved to see some feet to raise it up to help ergonomics a little bit more. The choice of some of the special keys and the lack of an adjustable angle is regrettable, but overall this keyboard did not disappoint.
