Another great Logitech keyboard!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always been a big fan of the Logitech line of mice and keyboards and I feel like this trend will certainly continue into the future after my experience with this Logitech MX Keys Advanced Wireless Illuminated Keyboard. Setup was very easy and straightforward. You can either connect via Bluetooth or use the included Unifying USB receiver. I did not detect any sort of input lag via either of the connection options after testing both. When it comes to features, I can’t imagine any missing features that could be added that would make this keyboard any better. Some of the features that really stood out for me: 1. I really like the shape of the keys themselves. They are very comfortable to use and easy to get accustomed to. 2. The Hand Proximity Detection which automatically illuminates the keys when my hands get close to the keyboard is an awesome feature which really helps when using the keyboard in a dark room. 3. The built-in rechargeable battery which can be recharged via USB-C is also awesome and very handy since I have a USB output on my monitor and can easily plug in and charge the keyboard whenever needed. One other interesting feature is the Easy-Switch keys. These allow you to connect the keyboard to more than one device and easily switch between them by simply pressing the associated device key. I don’t really have much need for this particular feature but I can definitely see how it could come in handy for others and I am impressed with Logitech’s ingenuity. Overall, the Logitech MX Keys Advanced Wireless Illuminated Keyboard is another amazing keyboard in the long list of Logitech’s superb connectivity devices and I highly recommend it!

FLOW feature is amazing
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The packaging of this keyboard is sleek and initial setup instructions are right there on the inside cover of the packaging. No book to have read through to get started. My keyboard came already charged so I could jump right in and start the pairing. The keyboard has a nice weight to it so it doesn't move around when typing and the keys are backlit nicely and have a great feel. The keys illuminate as soon as your hands cone close to the keyboard. The forward slope is fixed, there are no flimsy tabs to break. Charging is done via a USB-C connector. You are instructed to go to a Logitech website to complete the pairing and personal settings. Here you will download the OPTIONS program ( Windows or MAC ) so you can tailor your keyboard just how you like it. You can create different configurations based on what program you are using. You can create an account to save your configuration in the cloud. A feature tour is also located here. This is very well done. The keyboard can be used with three devices. There are Easy-Switch keys on the keyboard to choose which device you want to use. Its quick and simple. However this MX Keys keyboard and MX Master 3 mouse hold an amazing feature called FLOW. I have a PC and Laptop that are setup to use this keyboard and the MX Master 3 mouse. After installing a small program on each device FLOW allows you to seamlessly switch between devices. Just move the mouse pointer off the edge of the screen on the PC and the mouse and keyboard are now controlling the Laptop. Move the pointer off the Laptop screen and they are both back on the PC. You can even cut/paste and move files between the devices. This is really amazing. Originally I used the native Bluetooth on my PC to pair. I had an issue of waking up the PC from sleep mode. I know that Bluetooth was always on even when in sleep but it just would not wake up the PC. I then switched over to using the included USB receiver dongle provided with the keyboard and the problem was solved. It took just minutes to reconfigure to use this dongle using the OPTIONS program. I also have an IPAD and with the latest IOS. This keyboard paired with the IPAD via Bluetooth without issue.

MX Keys Backlit Keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had multiple Logitech devices over the years. They have always been good performers for me. This MX Keys Advanced Wireless Illuminated Keyboard is another quality product from Logitech. This is a premium backlit wireless keyboard. After opening up the package, I charged the keyboard (Type C BTW) and downloaded the Logitech Options program on my Windows 10 PC. I then changed the setting to use one unified receiver for both the MX Mouse and the MX Keyboard. I have been using this for almost exactly a month. Looks: I like the looks of this keyboard. It “feels” small to me but it is not small. Also, it is solid feeling and heavy. I think the word "solid" best describes the keyboard. Usage: After using this for almost a month, I really like it. At first the function keys did not operate the way I expected. I changed the setting in the Logitech Options program to use the default function keys F1 – F12. You then use the function (fn) key to use the other settings on the function buttons. I think one of the best things is the way the backlight wakes up/turns on when your hand gets close to the keyboard. To me a backlit keyboard is a must have. This works extremely well. Also, when not in use the backlight is off. So this will conserve the battery. Typing is effortless with no fatigue. The buttons have a great tactile feeling similar to an expensive laptop. It is comfortable and stable. You can pair it to up to 3 devices. I have only tested pairing it to one so far. Battery: When I received the keyboard, I plugged it in for a full charge. After almost a month, the keyboard is still fully charged. And it is used a lot! The website states up to 10 days on a full charge. I have far exceeded 10 days of use. Conclusion: With a long battery life and the impressive response after using it for a month, I rate the Logitech MX Keys keyboard 5 stars. I cannot think of one thing that could be done to improve this device.

Good office keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One thing that really jumped out at me was the weight and stability of this keyboard. For such a thin keyboard it stays put on the desk and has a real secure feel. The keys have a pretty good feel and travel to them. Somewhat reminiscent of a laptop keyboard. The illuminated keys are a good addition. I wish there was a setting to keep them illuminated longer, but it probably saves battery by shutting them off. The issues that I had with it were -- the num lock doesn't have an indicator light, so you can't really tell when it's on. Also -- the key labels for the windows key and the alt keys are different. Maybe more normal for apple users? So it's just a little getting used to. I haven't tried sharing the keyboard among multiple computers because I use a KVM for that. Overall, it's a very high quality build and the battery life is awesome.

Great Design!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The design of the keyboard is very practical. The movement of the keys is very smooth, the travel of the keys is very quiet and smooth. The app allows you to customize every aspect of the programmable keys. The charge and back lighting makes for easy typing in dimly lit rooms. The keyboard holds a charge a long time and it is seamless when switching it between computers. I really don't use the file sharing because it's a slow process. Overall it's a great keyboard.

Stop searching. This is the keyboard you seek.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this keyboard to use at work rather than for gaming and I have to say I am impressed all the way around. It paired effortlessly using the computer’s Bluetooth (I try to limit the number of USB dongles I use) and syncs back up without any extra steps whenever I remove and return my laptop. The materials used are top-notch; the metal casing gives the keyboard a weight that speaks to its quality. The keys have a solid feel and quick rebound and I like the how the circular indentions in the center of each one provide an intuitive feel to your resting fingers. My favorite feature is the ability to pair with up to 3 devices at once and switch between them with a simple keystroke. Now I can keep my iPhone in a stand by my monitor and reply to messages using my keyboard instead of picking up the phone and replying the old-fashioned way. It’s a time saver and minimizes the temptation to check Reddit or Instagram “since I’m holding my phone already.” lol A full charge has lasted me 10 days so far, but I don’t use it in situations requiring the built-in backlighting. The only shortcoming I’ve found has been something most people wouldn’t experience. I have a desk comprised of 2 sections and I usually position myself at the junction of those sections. I realized that junction is not level when I set this keyboard there because it does not have two separate legs at the corners, like most keyboards, but one solid piece spanning its width along the back. This actually lends to the feeling of quality, but will be noticed if you work on an uneven surface. Overall I am a huge fan and recommend this keyboard 100%.

Lasts 2 months, then battery can't hold the charge
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this keyboard for a couple months. It works fine, albeit the range isn't that great (it loses connection if I move it more than a few feet from the PC). My main issue is that, after 2 months and a couple charge cycles, it seems like it can no longer hold a charge. I've kept it plugged in for a full day, and now as soon as I unplug it it's dead. I'm able to use it while plugged in (I'm typing this review on it) but for the price I would have expected a wireless keyboard to be a bit more wireless.

Almost the best keyboard I've used
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using the MX Keys for approximately two weeks, with a mix of typing emails, casual web surfing, and some spreadsheet and word processing work. I have used many of Logitech's keyboards before, including their "Wave" keyboard set, the MK850 Advanced keyboard and the K850 solar keyboard. The MX Keys is probably one of the easiest keyboards to type on that I've used ever. The keys are soft to the touch, and the keyboard is very compact and perfect if you have a small desk or need to save space. It's basically the same keyboard as the older Logitech Craft keyboard, minus the wheel. The back lighting is a nice feature, and it's also nice that it's touch sensitive, and you can disable it to save battery. I've left it on over the two-week period, and have not had to re-charge the keyboard yet. This keyboard is definitely not for you if you prefer a large-format, mechanical keyboard or are a gamer. The key spacing and feel is very similar to a laptop keyboard, so it does take some getting used to if you have not typed on a small-spaced keyboard before. Also, despite the size, it's surprisingly heavy and weighted (but feels solid too). The only things I would improve is the ability to adjust the keyboard height (there is no adjustment at all), and I wish it was slightly wider, so that the spacing between the letter keys and the 10-keypad was further apart.

sturdy keyboard that lights up!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first thing I noticed while unpacking the Logitech - MX Keys Advanced Wireless Illuminated Keyboard was the weight and flatness of the keyboard. The weight is perfect for keeping the keyboard in place while typing. No sliding around. Also the angle (flat) keeps my wrists from getting sore if I have a lot to type. My old keyboard had a raised top which put my wrists at an angle that would start to hurt after a while. The most awesome part of the MX is the lighted keyboard. No more having to turn on an overhead light to see the keyboard, just move your hands towards the keyboard and the back light comes on and illuminates the keys. Also the quietness of the keys while striking them is a plus. My wife does a lot of data entry and the constant clicking of the old keyboard would drive me crazy. Now I don't even hear when she's working. I wold love to tell you how long a single charge lasts but I have had this keyboard for almost a month now and it is still on it's first charge. That's great because I wouldn't have given it 5 stars if I had to constantly keep charging the unit. I can deal with every 6 weeks or so. So glad I go this keyboard and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
