Build quality is excellent, easy install. The reason I didn’t give it five stars was due to the backlit part is not bright enough and price is a little high.

Lacks MacOS function keys but otherwise works well

The Mac variant of the MX keys mini uses scissor switch low profile keys, making it easily one of the more ergonomic of the wireless TKL keyboards designed for Mac currently available. It looks stylish and the use of the Logitech bolt receiver minimizes latency, especially when compared with Bluetooth or previous-generation unifying receiver connections. There are two downsides with this keyboard. First, Logitech omitted Mac specific function keys, such as mission control or app expose. Second, Logitech options and options plus remain very unstable. These software packages, along with bolt, are required to fully customize the mx keys mini and unlock useful features such as flow. Despite options plus being advertised as apple silicon compatible, it caused my Mac to overheat.

Gave this as a gift and they love it, being able to switch between devices and the slim, lit up design of the keys is just what they wanted.

Great keyboard, better than the original. A little bigger than the original and much easier to use. One charge lasts forever!

This is the seconds mx keys mini. The first one is for windows. The reason I just brought the mac version is I want the FN - Control - Option keys order same as magic keyboard. The typing experience is quite good and the travel distance is longer than the magic keyboard. I think it should be the best TKL Membrane Keyboard you can get for mac. However, there are some small flaws you need to be aware: 1. it use bolt connector and the keyboard doesn't include one. The bluetooth experience is not very stable on mac. 2. It doesn't have windows mode. If you brought the windows version, you can use super + O or super + P to switch between mac layout or windows layout. But if you brought the mac version keys mini, you are stuck with mac layout.

Okay keyboard, but it has problems

I bought this keyboard instead of an Apple Magic Keyboard because this one has backlit keys. It works OK, and I like the feature that allows you to easily switch between input to my laptop or my iPhone. BUT, 2 problems: First, the backlighting of the keys goes on when your hand approaches the keyboard, but it doesn't react quickly enough. You can't turn on backlighting and just leave it on. It's kind of a weird design. More importantly, I found that I was making WAY more typos with this keyboard. I mean a LOT of typos. That might not happen to you, and in fairness, I know it may just be about my particular typing style. But this was such a constant annoyance that I sprang for the Apple Magic Keyboard, which costs about $20 more, doesn't switch back and forth between devices, and has does not have backlighting. I miss those features, but with the Apple keyboard my typos immediately stopped almost completely. There's no comparison between the two in terms of typing accuracy. I think it has to do with the shape of the keys. The Logitech keys have a pronounced, round, cup-like indentation on each key, while the Apple has a very different, very slight, shallow cupped shape to the keys. The Logitech might work for you, but it didn't for me.

This is by far the best portable keyboard that I’ve used. I paired this with the MX Master 3S and it is amazing how much more orofuctive i have been able to be in the recent month. I have it connected to my MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and a bolt receiver for when I use my computers at work and it has been so nice to have a consistent experience across all platforms.

This keyboard is one of the best purchases I've made for my computing solutions. I like it even better than the standard Apple keyboard that costs twice as much. The keystrokes are smooth, the keys are comfortable under finger, and the backlight adjusts as needed. I often work on my computer 12-15 hours a day, and unlike other keyboards, this one just keeps going. I'm going to by a second one for my other iMac because I love this one so much!

I wanted a keyboard that I could use between multiple devices but I love the design and feel of Apple's Magic Keyboard too much. On the surface this like it could be a great Magic Keyboard substitute and I imagine for many of it will. But Logitech's keyboard is definitely of a cheaper build quality. It's plasticky, thick, and heavy. I returned it and designed to just stick with the Magic Keyboard. Otherwise, this is still a great keyboard for Apple users who want to get as close to Apple's Magic Keyboard design as possible with the the benefit of multi-device usage.

Works great, I bought a second one for my other workstation. Haven’t recharged either one yet. During the day you need to turn off the backlighting otherwise it’s hard to see the keys, backlight just makes everything white. Half the price of an Apple keyboard that isn’t backlit at all. Small enough to pack, pick up the MX3 anywhere mouse to go along with, it works well.

Works excellent with the Mac Mini. Great proximity sensing for the backlighting to come on when your hands come close, and has a long battery life in between charges. The only thing to know before hand is that it does not automatically pair to the Mac on it's own like the Apple keyboards. You will need a wired one to get started, then you are good to go.

the keyboard is way better than I was expecting. This is a great size to keep the desk, coffee table, or anywhere you use it from getting over cluttered. Fit and finish is great but the keys and their switches are way better than I was expecting. Of course, they are not mechanical gaming keyboard great, but the typing experience I think is perfect for college/school work.
