The MX Keys S (keyboard) and MX Master 3S (mouse) both use the newer Logi Bolt Receiver, which uses a different protocol than the older Unifying Receiver, so they’re not compatible with any older Unifying Receivers you may have lying around. In that same respect, any older Logitech devices you may have that used the Unifying Receiver, will not work with the new Logi Bolt Receiver. That being said, I also tried connecting both via Bluetooth, and didn’t have any trouble, however I did notice that there’s a slight delay when switching to a device that’s connected via bluetooth. The biggest thing to note about the connectivity is that a bluetooth connection won’t work if you need to do anything in BIOS, whereas a Bolt connection will. I could immediately tell that this keyboard is a huge improvement over the Logitech K375 that it’s replacing. Probably not a fair comparison, given the price difference, but if you spend a significant amount of time behind the keyboard, spend the extra $$. It has a nice, solid feel to it. It also has a nice weight, and isn’t going to be sliding all over your desk when you don’t want it to. The keys have a good, crisp feel to them with just enough noise that you know you’re doing something, but not so much that everyone in the house/office can almost follow along. Keyboard features include dedicated keys to switch between up to three devices. One of which I used to pair my keyboard and mouse to my Samsung tablet. The F1-F12 keys can be locked to the old school functions, or be used for pre-programmed functions that control brightness, keyboard backlighting, mic mute, media controls, and a quick emoji selector. Using Logitech Options+, you can also change these keys to do many other things if you so desire. It also has keys dedicated to a calculator, screen snip, <something>, and Windows lock. Very convenient! The mouse has a nice feel to it, but I’ve been a trackball user for several years, so I’m still adjusting. The electro-magnetic scroll wheel is amazing though! I have a few spreadsheets that have several thousand rows (a couple with over 500k), and the weighted scroll wheel makes scrolling through those SO much easier! It also has a horizontal scroll, which is great in spreadsheets as well. My biggest complaint about the mouse is that the Easy Switch button, to switch your mouse between different devices, is located on the bottom of the mouse. If you switch back and forth several times throughout the day, it is much more convenient (like with their MX Ergo trackball) if the button was on top. I can only hope that Logitech will see fit to let you remap one of the more accessible buttons (or even a gesture) to the EasySwitch function, but as of now, this is not possible. Battery life has been decent so far; better than expected for the keyboard. I was able to get about two week’s worth of typical business use, with the keyboard backlight at default (auto brightness; 30 second timeout) settings, out of a full charge. The mouse is still at 80%. Overall a great combo. 5 stars if you could remap the EasySwitch function to another button.

One of the keys broke off after a few weeks of use. There doesn’t seem to be any way to fix it since the plastic on the scissor switch broke. I’m gentle with my electronics so it was disappointing to say the least. The mouse is great and I bought one for several family members.

Really disappointed in the quality here I bought this to be my forever keyboard/mouse. But the mouse has started blinking red and failing to connect after just 65 days. That's completely unacceptable for a device of this cost. I will not be buying Logitech products in the future.

The mouse's (MX Master 3S) left-click will randomly not work after one year of use. Apparently this is a known issue with the MX Master 3S. So beware.

Key combo conflicts are very annoying. Maybe the 6KRO is limited to a-z.

Logitech doesn't need any introduction and I have been an avid user of Logitech computer accessories for as long as I can remember. I had been drooling over the MX Keys since a long time. I've seen so many of my friends and cousins using it and was very much impressed with it. So when I saw this combo kit, I decided to grab it. These two accessories (mouse and keyboard) are the prime examples of brilliant minds that work at Logitech. The design, the style, the working: everything is on par. Let's first start with the mouse, MX Master 3S. I have been working as a Mechanical Design Engineer for more than 10 years now and Logitech is the only brand that I use for my mouse. I spend 90% of my time at job using mouse to 3D design stuff on software such as Creo, NX and SolidWorks. I cannot even imagine using any other brand mouse. I started with G602 that had 9 programmable buttons and anyone with even a little design experience can understand how much of a life saver that mouse is. Unfortunately, that started giving some issues after more than 5 years of service and I replaced it with MX Master 2S and OMG, that was a game a changer too. I agree, it didn't have as much programmable buttons but I still was able to make full use of few that are provided. The MX Master 2S was a fantastic mouse, but I had two complaints about it: 1) It used Micro USB instead of Type C and 2) the thumb wheel and navigation buttons were hard to use. The MX Master 3S fixes both those problems. The thumb wheel now has a very high quality feel to it and is very easy to spin around, and they've moved the navigation buttons lower down to make them easier to press with your thumb. The main scroll wheel has also been made quieter, and somehow even more fun to use. As before, this mouse works on pretty much all surfaces, can connect to 3 devices, and can connect by either bluetooth or a USB dongle. I've had no issues using it on both a Mac and PC. Logitech claims a battery life of 70 days, and while I obviously haven't been able to test that out yet, if the MX Master 2S is anything to go by, you can expect great battery life on this mouse too. The 3S has significantly better placement for my average sized hands. On the 2S, it required pulling my thumb so far back, that it initially felt like my thumb was going to dislocate. On the 3S that isn’t a problem. The vertical scroll wheel is great. Feels much better than the scroll wheel on the 2S, but it may take some fiddling with the Logitech Options program to get it to automatically switch to free scrolling based on your desired speed. The default setting switches it too easily, and the jump from ratcheted scrolling to free scrolling speed is significant. You might find yourself wanting to just scroll a few lines faster, and then suddenly you’re all the way at the bottom of a webpage. It's a big upgrade from Master 2S. However, if you own a Master 3, getting a 3S would not be much of an upgrade for you. The only difference between the two are that 3S has a 8000 DPI sensor where as 3 has 4000 DPI sensor. The other difference is that Logitech claims that 3S has 90% quieter clicking than 3. There is no question the placement of the back and forward buttons has been improved as well as the horizontal scrolling wheel as compared to 2S. The tracking also seems more precise. The gesture button is also vastly improved and now has an actual physical button. This mouse unequivocally earns a high five stars rating from me, along with my honest and very hearty recommendation. You will never see a mouse more ergonomic and comfortable to use than this one! Now the keyboard, MX Keys S. This is an excellent keyboard. Better than any Apple keyboard with more functionality at cheaper the cost!!! This is the keyboard that Apple should have brought out for their Macs. It has many nice features. The one that I find really nice is the key back lighting. It's quite handy under lower light conditions. My previous Logitech products have lasted many years, which makes this keyboard purchase a worthy investment considering the quality and features. Right out of the box I was amazed at the solid workmanship. This thing feels sturdy and heavy. It has a classy dark metal gray finish. Its curved edges and slight tilt, along with the silent keys make it a pleasure to use. The lights go out if your hands are away from the keyboard for long, but respond immediately to your fingers touching the keys with lighting up. The construction seems very good, and the keys with their sculptured tops are nice to type on. The programable key functions are also handy for adding some user defined command to certain keys. Overall and nice keyboard I've been using this keyboard for a couple days now and I love it. It has a nice heavy/solid feel, so it doesn't slip around on my desk and the keys have a nice tactile "break" at the end of the keystroke. Very easy to use for hours at a time. It has a rechargeable battery that charges up via the included USB-C to USB-A cable; you'll need a USB-A type power adapter which is not included. I only had to charge it once and plugged it into my laptop. Logitech claims a battery life of up to 10 days on a full charge or up to 5 months with the backlighting turned off, which is way less than my MX Master 3S mouse but that is understandable as the keyboard draws more power than the mouse. This Logitech keyboard is just much much better than all of the keyboards I've used so far. Some of it is the small form factor that leaves more space on my desk. Some of it is the super sleek look that makes my desk look like I'm an elite designer. But more than anything, it's how smoothly the keys actuate, how they travel just enough (not too little, not too far), and how the concave circle shape on each key is built to welcome your fingers. This keyboard is not without faults, but these faults pale in comparison with how good the keys are.

Keyboard is very narrow. But otherwise good. Mouse cursor stalls at times.

This is not just a tippity tap keyboard and a roll and scroll mouse. There is a lot here and so much to do with it, whether for productivity or for fun or both. The keyboard is not large but still has everything and keys in normal places and such; and includes a number pad. The keyboard allows you the option to connect via Bluetooth or USB dongle. There is also a cable, USB-C, for charging. There are no batteries for you to change. You just charge it up when you need to. On the top right of the keyboard, there is a slow flashing red illuminating light to let you know it needs a charge. When charging is complete, it's green. When you unplug, there is nothing (no illumination). The keyboard feels lowkey, in a great way. The keys are soft to the touch, probably because of the rounded indentation (concave) on each key, so the keypresses feel calm. The keys depress easily and quietly. The keyboard itself also illuminates (within the keys, of course) when you depress any key. It has all functions of a keyboard. The keyboard, on the top edge, also has an on off switch and the USB-C port. Now, of course you can move this keyboard from device to device, and use Bluetooth to connect every time or move the dongle with you every time. BUT, you can actually program to connect the keyboard to three different devices and all you need to do is push the key for 1, 2 or 3 (not on the number keypad, but just to the left of the number keypad, you will find the three keys for device 1, 2, or 3. That's it. Hit the key and it automatically goes to that other device. Sweet. There is also a wrist pad that comes with it for the keyboard. It is the full length of the keyboard and it is very thin. But there IS a cushion in there. And it works for me. The only thing is it slightly moves after sometime. I work at a desk all day so when it starts moving even slightly, I just bring it back. It doesn't bother me, but just so you know. The mouse is fancy. It is large so your whole palm can grasp it, with the whole palm laying on it. It has the typical things on the top -- left click, right click -- and a big ol' wheel for scrolling. Now, you can scroll slow and regular (which is fine) by going one click at a time. Or you can spin that thing like the price is right and that thing will fly (that's how I like it). For work, I regular scroll up and down lists (such as in excel, databases, etc). You can control the scroll though... it just depends on how hard your finger rolls it. There is also horizontal scroll (to the left), which is another great thing. The mouse is very responsive. I'll admit, sometimes my hand gets tired of being on it, but I still love it. I should also mention that because the mouse is large, I am constantly bumping it into the keyboard or other things close to it while I am using it. But that's a me-problem. Just like the keyboard, the mouse allows you the option to connect via Bluetooth or the same USB dongle. There is the same cable, USB-C, for charging. There are no batteries for you to change. You just charge it up when you need to (just like the keyboard. The USB-C port is also on the top edge of the mouse. On the bottom of the mouse, there is no place to store the dongle so don't lose it. There is an on/off switch. And there is also a button just under a 1, 2, 3 so that you can program it to three devices, just like the keyboard (they just use different means of one-ing, two-ing and three-ing. Still great. Lastly, Logi Options +. Install it on your device and then go play with it or be serious with it. But you can do a lot. You've got "Options." You can customize your keyboard and mouse. Your mouse has the ability to work with gestures. Well, you can program that. Your mouse and your keyboard have buttons/keys that will allow you to turn them into shortcuts. You can program that. You can even program shortcuts per application. Yup. Go do it. Good for productivity. And also good for fun. This combo is pretty amazing and to be honest, I would only suggest it if you plan on using it for many of things mentioned above, because the price tag is what it is. The price tag fits what you are getting. So again, if you simply want to tippity tap, roll and scroll, then this is not the move. But you want to move into being able to utilize and do more, make this move. It's a good product and I recommend it. Peace.

This is the 3rd keyboard of this model I have purchased and all 3 have had the same design flaw.... It works fine for about 30 minutes, then starts typing a number of letters or it just won't type the letters at all and after 10 seconds it just types a bunch of letters again. So disappointed. And I can return it because the cutoff time has come and gone. And logitech isn't doing anything about sending a fix for this problem.

After less than a year, the keys are getting stuck. I have a non "S" model on another computer that is about 4 years old and still working fine. Software is bloated and has issues. Why can't the keyboard button to switch devices bring the mouse along? Nooo, you have to press the keyboard button, the pickup the mouse flip it over and press that button. Been a huge fan of Logitech for years. Rethinking that.

Bottom Line: The MX Keys S Combo is ideal for office use, especially if the user needs to work with multiple devices. Pros (keyboard): sleek design w/ backlighting; good typing experience; designed for PC and Mac users; fast switching between devices. Pros (mouse): premium feel; useful scroll wheel setting; side scroll wheel great for spreadsheeting or design work; customizable in Options+ software. Cons (palm rest): required precise wrist placement. Cons (mouse): a little big for small hands; device switching not as efficient as keyboard. Review: The keyboard has a sleek metal design that looks good on one's desk and, the backlighting provides good contrast against the darker keys and keyboard. It's also heavier than I thought it would be, which makes it feel like a solid typing platform. The keys are fairly low profile, but offer good travel and a comfortable typing experience since they have rounded keycaps. As both a Mac and PC user, I also really appreciate that the bottom row of keys have dual labels for each platform. Three buttons in the top row allow you to pair/switch across three devices. Pairing was easy, and switching between devices is fast and fluid. The palm rest helps support your wrists, but the cushioning is fairly shallow. I found that if I didn't have my hands centered well, part of the framing around the padding pressed against my wrist. The design of the mouse complements the keyboard well, and it offers high pointer accuracy and tracking. The primary scroll wheel is really useful; you can switch its mode with a button on the top of the mouse that allows for detailed scrolling (with clicks) or fast scrolling that disables the clicks and allows you to quickly spin the wheel. This is really helpful when scrolling through large spreadsheets. Additionally, the side scroll wheel allows you to move across columns in spreadsheets, which is more efficient than pointing, clicking, and dragging. I have three minor issues with the mouse. First, it's just slightly too big - or maybe the angle of the curve is slightly too big - to be completely comfortable. Second, the mouse buttons have a really soft click - not super problematic, but it's different than what I'm used to. Finally, device switching on the mouse is fast, but the button is located on the bottom of the mouse requiring one hand to lift and the other to press the button. It's not too much work, but it feels slower than switching on the keyboard.

Are you a fan of both the Logitech MX Keys keyboards and Logitech's ergo mice? Well, this might be the deal for you. The MX Keys S Combo is made up of the MX Keys S keyboard and MX Master 3S mouse. Both are stellar devices if they're what you're into for keyboard and mouse design. The MX Keys S keyboard is the same MX Keys keyboard you know and love, but updated with Logi Bolt support instead of Logi Unifying support. This means if you're invested into the Logi Unifying ecosystem, you'll be adding another dongle to use this keyboard and mouse. The advantage of the new technology is lower latency connectivity - you hit a key and letters appear sooner. Charges via USB-C and, if it's as good as the older MX Keys devices, you'll get at least two months of battery life out of the keyboard between charges. The MX Master 3S mouse is the same way - it's nearly identical to the previous MX Master mice, but with Bolt technology instead of Unifying technology. This allows for not only faster response, but for a more sensitive sensor. The scroll wheel technology makes it really smooth and able to support really fast scrolling. There's also a side scroll allowing for horizontal scrolling. Logitech claims a 40 day battery life and I think they're underselling it - I've been using it for the last week and I'm at 90% battery life left. It also charges with USB-C. The only real drawback is the included wrist rest - it's kinda underwhelming, but does make the keyboard a little easier to use. I'm not a fan of the silicone-like material it's made of. The Logi Options+ software can be a little overwhelming for first-time users as it allows for mastic customization of what the keyboard and mouse do. Once you learn this software, however, you'll wonder why you didn't use Logitech keyboards and mice before. All in all, a solid desktop combination.

I used this wireless keyboard and mouse combo to clean up my desk and reduce the number of wires and am very pleased with the results. Here's why: First, the functionality and build of the product is great. The keyboard is sturdy, the keys are just the right amount of clicky, and the extra functionality of the keyboard and mouse are very nice. I would estimate that I can be at least 10% more productive on this keyboard than using my laptop keyboard. And by hooking up this separate keyboard I was able to lift my laptop and monitor off of the desk with an arm so that my desk is freed of all devices and wires. Second, the connectivity is great. I had heard that using Bluetooth to connect keyboards and mice caused a lag that made them nearly unusable and was worried I'd have to plug in the dongle to the USB port. However, I was very pleased to see that these devices paired almost instantly via Bluetooth and I don't notice any lag whatsoever. Third, the battery life is much better than other devices I've used. For example, I was using a gaming mouse and if I unplugged the USB-C connector it would go dead in about a day. I have been using this keyboard and mouse for over a week and have only lost a couple percent on the battery level of each. And finally, the little things that make this combo nice are things like the smart illumination that only lights up the keys based on the environment, which is also customizable in the app. Also, the app can assign special functions and tasks to both the keyboard and the mouse. And they can be used across multiple devices. Two simple things I like that not all keyboards have is a volume control and number pad. Overall, I am very pleased with this combo and couldn't think of anything that would make it better.

After looking for an add-on keyboard for both my Mac mini and laptop, I went through lots of good and real bad keyboards as well as combination packages. The Logitech MX Keys Combo was one I had looked at only briefly because I only (thought) I needed a keyboard. Once I got it home and began using both keyboard and mouse, I was hooked on both! It uses one dongle (USB 3.1) for both keyboard and mouse. The keyboard is a very sturdy, full-sized mechanical keyboard with stiff keys and good return. It has a numeric keyboard also which is greatly appreciated. It has automatic backlighting that does an excellent job of lighting the keys and is charged through USB-C. The box says it will last for 10 days on a full charge but I've beaten that already. As for the mouse I didn't think I needed.. Well, this thing is great! Perfectly weighted, well built with perfect palm and finger placement. It is very sturdy and has excellent tracking capability on pretty much any surface. The scroll wheel and click seem smooth and relatively quiet. It also charges via USB-C, and has lasted for a while between charges. Both keyboard and mouse have Logitech software that allows for lots of customizations, and best of all (for me) is the ability to be connected to up to three devices through Bluetooth or the dongle. As I switch between machines quite often, this is a game changer! If you need a combo that has both a professional feeling keyboard and outstanding mouse, this is the one you need!

Latency is worse at the price you pay for this product

This is convenient bundle of Logitech's top-of-the-line keyboard and mouse. The included devices are identical to the stand-alone products. This combo bundle comes with a palm rest for the keyboard (that you can otherwise purchase separately). On the other hand, you'll only get one Bolt receiver and USB cable instead of the two you'd get by purchasing the keyboard and mouse separately. It's probably a good trade-off for most people, but could be meaningful to you if you'd like to take advantage of the multi-device connectivity and need (or prefer) to use a dedicated receiver instead of Bluetooth. The star device of this bundle is the MX Master 3S mouse, in my opinion. It is the latest in the MX Master line, which I've used since the MX Master 3 - and all of them have been wonderful to use. They're a luxury, certainly, but I think a justifiable one for people that work daily with computers (as I do). The MX Master 3S (which debuted last year) has the same great ergonomics, build quality, and features as the older MX Master 3. My favorite feature - the MagSpeed scroll wheel – is as great as ever. The 3S now supports the new-generation “Bolt” receiver for non-Bluetooth connections, the button clicks are quieter, and it has an improved, higher-DPI sensor. It's pretty much a flawless mouse… unless you prefer to use a computer mouse with your left hand; Logitech unfortunately still does not make a mirrored version of the MX Master 3S. The MK Keys S is a new device for me. I have also never used the previous version, the (non-S) MK Keys. I had high expectations given my esteem for the MX Master 3/3S and was keen to see how completing my desktop set-up with an MX-series keyboard would foster productivity. In particular, I wanted to add a keyboard that supported multiple devices with Logitech's Easy-Switch function when I was using both personal and work computers at my desk. Unfortunately, after more than a week of using the MX Keys S, I cannot praise it quite as effusively as the MX Master 3S. It's a perfectly fine keyboard: it feels nice and solid, the backlighting is convenient when working in dim light, there's enough customization for my tastes, and it works great with both macOS and Windows computers. The battery life is acceptable, but not outstanding. It uses the same Bolt receiver that the MK Master 3S does, which is convenient. (While that may seem like it should be natural, the previous generation non-S MX Keys uses the older "Unifying" receiver and was still sold alongside the newer Bolt-compatible MX Master 3S in the last year.) I am slightly dissatisfied with two things about the MX Keys S. The first is completely subjective: it's a membrane keyboard (like a laptop) and I prefer the feel of typing on a mechanical keyboard to that of the MX Keys S. (The MX Keys S is admittedly quieter than a mechanical keyboard, which is crucial for some environments. And Logitech does offer the MX Mechanical keyboard as another product to consider.) The second issue is one that I expect to be remedied very soon: at the time I write this, Logitech's Options+ software does not currently support the "Flow" feature with the MK Keys S. This feature allows you to automatically switch a mouse and supported keyboard between up to three computers - the ones with Bluetooth or a Bolt receiver bound to the three device "slots" on both the mouse and keyboard - by running your mouse cursor into the edge or corner of the screen. As it stands, only the MX Master 3S switches automatically, and I must manually change the keyboard. Since its predecessor, the MX Keys, was supported by that feature, I'm sure Logitech will add support ASAP for this (most likely by the time you read this!). In anticipation of Flow support coming soon, I'm not considering its absence in my overall rating of the MX Keys S. Apart from being high-quality and feature-rich devices in their own rights, the "Flow" feature in Logitech's device companion software is a great incentive to buy this combo (assuming the software compatibility is ironed out). Even if you're not interested in the Flow feature, the MX Master 3S is the best mouse you can buy and MX Keys S is a very nice (membrane) keyboard, so this bundle is a convenient way to upgrade your desktop set-up with a high-quality pair of input devices. But if you know you would prefer the feel of a mechanical keyboard and the Flow feature interests you, consider purchasing the MX Master 3S mouse and MX Mechanical keyboard separately.

The Logitech MX Keys S Combo consists of the MX Keys keyboard, MX Master 3S mouse and a wrist rest. Both the keyboard and the mouse connected via Bluetooth to a Windows 11 laptop. No driver installation was required. Or use the included Dongle to connect both devices using one dongle to your USB. The Logitech software loads automatically on installation and allows a multitude of customization for both the keyboard and the mouse. The keyboard and mouse can be paired/connected to 3 different devices including the dongle. There are 3 keys on the keyboard to switch to another device and the mouse has a button on the bottom to cycle through the 3 devices. This is extremely helpful if you want to use the devices on your laptop, your desktop, and your work computer as each will be remembered. The keyboard features low profile, laptop style scissor keys. Most of the keys have a concave shape to them to help center your finger onto the key. Key action is similar to laptop keyboard keys and they are positive and very quiet. The keyboard is very low profile, but with a heavy build to stay put on your desk. There are 6 rubber feet on the bottom to hold it firmly in place. The main body is only 6mm thick with a thicker strip along the back which holds the battery and serves to angle the keyboard up slightly for easier typing. There are no adjustable feet on the bottom for adjustments. However the included wrist pad helps to hold your wrists off the desk and give you a good angle in which to type. There are 7 levels of backlighting on the keyboard! The back lighting will actually turn off when the keyboard is not in use and will “wake up” when your hand is just hovering over the keyboard before your fingers reach the keys. Logitech chose to put the screen lock key right above the minus ( - ) key of the number pad. When you are doing lots of data entry with the number pad you will inadvertently hit the lock key. However the software allows you to disabled the key if you choose. There is no print screen button, but there is a dedicated “snipping tool” button and the ability to map a button for “screen capture” within the software. The mouse is amazing. It’s large, but it fits so nicely in your hand and offers so many button choices and customization options. The two main buttons require only the slightest bit of pressure to click and you become accustomed to their responsiveness. After using this mouse, going back to another mouse feels like you are smashing the buttons to click on something. The electromagnetic scroll wheel is very useful. It can be changed from a “click” style wheel to a free spinning wheel with just the click of a button. In the click mode it will change to free spinning with a finger flick. This allows you to scroll precisely through a document or spreadsheet with the click mode, and then when you need to move through several pages quickly you can spin the wheel and it will change to free spinning and move through several pages at one. Stopping the wheel causes it to switch back to click mode. The horizontal scroll wheel is extremely useful for moving back and forth across large spreadsheets. It has enough resistance that you can precisely control the horizontal scrolling. The thumb rest of the mouse has a button which triggers gesture controls. Holding the button and moving the mouse in a direction is a “gesture” that can be configured to perform various actions. I can’t say enough “great things” about this mouse. It truly becomes an extension of your hand and you will adapt to it very quickly. I find both the mouse and the keyboard are excellent pieces of engineering that work smoothly, positively, and flawlessly. You won’t be disappointed. I would definitely recommend this combo package to any of my friends with no reservations. A definite 5.

This is a high-quality, well-designed keyboard and mouse package. What I really like is that it's not only wireless, but you can either use Bluetooth or the included USB receiver to connect. With the Bluetooth, it's possible to save up to three different computer connections and switch between them with the push of a single button. Currently I have mine connected to two, using Bluetooth on one and the USB receiver on the other. Both the keyboard and the mouse automatically connect to either one when I'm in range and turn them on. Both the keyboard and mouse are obviously made from professional grade materials that look and feel tough and durable. They have a totally professional appearance. The mouse is ergonomically designed including what I would call a thumb pad. It has a thumb-controlled scroll wheel and a gestures button on the thumb pad in addition to the other normal mouse buttons & scroll wheel, all of which can be customized with the Logi Options+ app. Also, they can be customized for individual apps. They can be preprogrammed to perform one function say on Excel, and a different function on Microsoft Edge browser, for example. The pointer speed can be extended up to 8K DPI, which is helpful with high resolution monitors. The keyboard has backlit keys and includes a number pad. The top row of function keys is customizable with the Logi Options+ app, including creating keyboard shortcuts. The backlighting can be adjusted for time and can be set to auto-brightness to respond to the ambient light level or can be completely turned off. Another useful feature is the ability to optionally disable Num Lock, Cap Lock, Scroll Lock, Insert, and the Windows Key. A separate detached wrist rest is included with this combo package. A short USB Type A/C cable is included for charging the mouse and keyboard. The Logi Options+ app shows their charge level. Mine came about half-charged and I've been using them pretty heavily for the past 3 days and they've only used about 5% of their charge. According to the box a fully charge keyboard should last 10 days with the backlight on and the mouse should last 70 days. I think my keyboard would last 10 days but I'm a little skeptical at this point that my mouse would last 70 days without needing to be charged again. I haven't measured the full charging time but they both took about 20 to 30 minutes to charge from 50% to 75%. Although this combo package is very expensive for a keyboard and mouse, its high-quality build, customizable functions, and wireless connectivity options make it worth the price.

The Logitech MX Keys S Combo is an absolutely amazing keyboard and mouse. Packaging is outstanding, setup on my Mac mini went so smoothly, even I was shocked. You download the Options + software and configure the Logitech MX Keys S Combo. The mouse ….. Is on the light side, meaning weight wise. BUT make no mistake, the mouse performs perfectly, movement is smooth and the scroll wheel (with the click of the button near the wheel) can give the wheel a smooth or bumpy feeling upon your preference. The wheel on the side scrolls (if you are in something that can scroll) side to side (left and right), and is fully adjustable in the Options + software. Then there are two buttons for page forward and page backwards. Just below that there is a button on the bottom Left side, you press and move the mouse up down left or right to do special Mac stuff. The keyboard…. OMG it’s built so well…. It has weight to it and I absolutely love that as the keyboard stays in place, then the backlight on the keyboard is just perfect. The backlight goes on after you strike a key and goes off after you stop typing for 30 seconds. The function keys can be left on to f1,f2 ect.. or a bunch of programmable to your choice buttons. Your choice on what is pressed and what is pressed while holding down the function button then pressing the function buttons. Above the keypad you have more programmable buttons, like a button for the calculator, very nice in deed. Then a lock button to lock the screen and sleep the computer The mouse and keyboard can be used with windows and Mac with labels for both on certain keys. I was absolutely stunned at the quality this keyboard and mouse look and perform.
