Coming from an MX Master 3s, the ergonomics have been vastly improved, and the haptic feedback makes for a solid re-design.

Best mouse ever. I've had the MX Series ever since the 2 and Logitech such keeps innovating. The performance is amazing, and the new feature for the thumb button has improved my productivity. If I had a complaint, I'd love better battery life but that's about it. A note about longevity. I won an MX 518 at a conference back in 2003, I didn't retire it until 2018. These things last a LONG time. Invest the money. It will be worth it.

Best in class. Confort, precision, customization. New haptic feedback makes side button more improved. Still very expensive for a a mouse.

I already own a MS Master 3S and I love it. Its at the office. I wanted another one for working from home, but I held off knowing this was coming out. I really enjoy it. It brings all the same stuff as the 3, but less rubber, so it wont start to look terrible after a lot of use. The haptic control panel is also really neat.

What really sets the MX Master 4 apart is its haptic feedback and Actions Ring features. Subtle vibrations enhance interactions like scrolling, shortcuts, and gestures, giving real tactile cues that make complex workflows feel smoother and more intuitive. The customizable Actions Ring (via Logitech Options+) lets you assign app-specific commands without reaching for the keyboard, which can significantly speed up tasks in creative or productivity apps.

Had the 3 before this totally worth the upgrade. The extra button comes in handy and the haptics are a nice touch. Customizability is also improved.

Much better upgrade over the MX3. Scroll wheel no longer has rubber to collect debris, thumb buttons are now separate and easier to discern. Haptic feedback is kinda gimmicky as it only happens when you navigate proprietary software through thumb pad. Thumb pad is nice though, especially if you use Chat GPT or similar software.

As a long time MX3S user, I have found that it is the best editing mouse on the market, it truly is amazing. So I was really looking forward to the MX4. Although it looks very similar to MX3s there some differences. 1) Its bigger then MX3S and doesn't fit the hand the same. 2) The rubber parts can be a little slippery and now being heavier than MX3 it does not give you the same control 3) The Haptic feedback is a not supported on enough program's let. 4) The action ring is great, but it's also available on MXS3 5) The additional button is great 6) The overall build is better 7) The thumb wheel is higher bigger works great. 8) The thumb button is great, the way it should have always been. 9) There are exposed screws on bottom for perhaps battery replacement. 10) The Option + software is what brings this mouse to a new level of productivity. Bottom line if you have the MX3S I would stay with it. If this is going to be your first MX mouse go for the MX4

This a great product. I think the length of my fingers does exactly match the curve of the ergo design, thus, it seems a little conscious effort on my end to stretch my fingers... it's a little bit heavier as well.. but overall, it is really a great product with great features. I'd still recommend it.

This mouse is an improvement upon the MX 3 for sure. Just as smooth with its tracking as its predecessors, the feel of the mouse has improved with the haptic feedback of the thumb spot. The use of the gestures is also easier as the button is closer to the body of the mouse rather than the edge. Great purchase overall. Now if it wasn't as expensive I might buy more.

The MX series mouse is just 2nd to NONE!! This new version is super comfortable and just a SOLID mouse. I don't think you need to upgrade from the 3S, but if you have never had an MX mouse GET THIS ONE!

Nice materials, good app of logi and smooth feelings when using it

This is my first MX Master series and from my use with it, I don't see myself ever switching to anything else. The comfort of the mouse and additional inputs make this mouse perfect for my daily work. The side scroll wheel makes searching excel files a breeze and the additional haptic button adds infinite possibilities for more buttons as my workflow needs.

Love this mouse. The scrolling feels like it is part of my hand and the extra buttons really take things to another level. Being able to push the back button with my thumb is a game changer. If you are thinking about it, just buy it. You will not be disappointed

Never spent up on a higher quality mouse until now. Transitions quickly between computers for home/work use. The Action Ring makes daily use of apps incredibly efficient.

I upgraded from the MX Master 3. I do like the how they changed from the rubber material to the plastic it be easier to keep clean. The action button is a nice addition, it its nice have an additional 8 shortcuts. I do prefer the clicky sound for my MX 3, this one quieter when comes to clicking.

Excellent The ability to push a button on the mouse to copy whatever is hi-lited on the screen is great. Or to open a folder or file without having to scroll through things is time saving.

Amazing mouse. Very similar to the 3, with a few good quality of life improvements. Softer touch materials, quieter clicks, and more uniform body should keep it cleaner for longer. The one thing I wish they would change is the connection selection is still on the bottom. The did add an option in the software to change with the new actions button, but still annoying.
