She could not get the sideways scrolling to work. A quick check shows it only works for some apps. We possibly missed installing some specific drivers but it was a bit too big for the intended use (working on the panel to the side of the touchpad on the laptop.

Better, but not in every way.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used the MX Master 3 for about a year now and decided to switch to the MX Master 4 based on some of the reviews that I watched / read. I find the MX 4 to be better in almost every way except the material on the side area where your thumb rests. This material is not as gripable as the material on the MX 3, so you sometimes find the MX 4 slipping away from you when to try to lift it and reposition it on your mousepad. The action ring is nice in that it saves me time on the keyboard, but I'm not the kind of person that could use it to its fullest.

Best Work Mouse on the Market!

This new version is super comfortable and just a SOLID mouse. I don't think you need to upgrade from the 3S, but if you have never had an MX mouse GET THIS ONE!

The current issues I have are with the options+ software. My device is regularly hibernated or put to sleep and moved between locations, within a week the software hangs up and loses all customizations and features. Sometimes a remote will fix, sometimes it requires reinstall of the software.
