The mouse is very lightweight and has a faint matte texture. Buttons feel fine, but be aware that the scroll wheel does not have a 'fast scrolling' feature like some cheaper Logitech options. USB charging is very convenient, and personally I like how it looks. I have carpal tunnel and this mouse prevents my time on the computer from aggravating my wrist. Very good, but very expensive mouse--I would only get it if you have wrist problems.

This mouse is awesome. I work with computers all day long and having proper ergonomics is a must. This mouse has helped aleviate most of my wrist pain. I also love the fact that it charges using USB type C. The battery lasts for a very very long time. I also like the fact that it connects with up to 3 separate systems over either the Unifying receiver or Bluetooth.

As someone who spends hours working on a computer every day, investing in the Logitech MX Vertical Advanced Wireless Ergonomic Mouse has been a game-changer for both my productivity and comfort. The first thing that caught my eye was the sleek Graphite color and the unique vertical design. The MX Vertical isn't just a mouse; it's a statement piece on my desk. The ergonomic design is a breath of fresh air compared to traditional mice, promoting a more natural handshake position that significantly reduces wrist strain. Setting up the mouse is a breeze, with both USB and Bluetooth connectivity options. I love the flexibility it offers, allowing me to switch between devices seamlessly. The precision tracking is spot-on, thanks to the high-resolution sensor, making every movement smooth and accurate. One of the standout features is the customizable buttons. The placement of the buttons on the side is intuitive and easily accessible, and I've personalized them to streamline my workflow. The scroll wheel is responsive, and the option to switch between ratchet and free-spinning modes adds another layer of convenience. The battery life is impressive. A single charge lasts for an extended period, and the quick-recharge capability ensures that I'm never without my mouse for too long. The battery indicator on the device is a thoughtful touch, keeping me informed about the remaining charge. Using the Logitech Options software, I fine-tuned the mouse settings to my preferences, from cursor speed to button functions. The software also allows for firmware updates, ensuring the mouse stays up-to-date with the latest improvements. While the Logitech MX Vertical comes at a higher price point, the ergonomic benefits and enhanced productivity it brings make it worth every penny. If you're looking for a mouse that goes beyond the conventional, prioritizing both comfort and performance, the Logitech MX Vertical is an excellent choice. It has become an indispensable tool in my daily work routine, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a top-notch ergonomic mouse.

Nice vertical mouse to have. Logitech has been a reliable brand for me. Had MX3 before this. I use this mouse mainly for work and do not have any complaints yet. The battery is amazing even after using it for 6-8 hours every day. Pros: - Easy to use - Long-lasting battery - USB-C port for charging which makes it easy to use with other chargers. - Very lightweight. Cons - Bluetooth connection can be unreliable sometimes. - Price (compared to other vertical mouse on the market).

The MX Vertical mouse is a great fit for minimizing hand fatigue over long periods of use. Your hand rests on the side of the unit in a handshake orientation which feels natural and relaxed, particularly if you have larger hands. The only complaint would be double clicking on the mouse wheel requires a steady hand as the mouse wants to move as you press it down. It’s also a little on the pricey side, so look for a good sale. Solid quality and a comfortable feel make this a must have for anyone who prefers an ergonomic feel for their computer work.

Stop what you're doing and reach your hand out, like you're going to shake someone's hand. Now turn your hand palm down, as though you're going to hold a normal mouse. Notice how that's harder? Crazy right?! How did I never notice this before! I wish I had purchased this mouse a long time ago! It looks weird, like it would be awkward to use, but it has completely solved my hand and wrist pain that I was experiencing with other mice (mouses?). I would like to address a few things: - I'm going to be controversial and say I think this mouse is actually OK for small hands. I'm a woman with average size hands, and the first few days I used the mouse, I felt the mouse was too big. Then I actually discovered you can reach all the keys by just adjusting your grip to be higher on the mouse, where it is narrower, and rotating it to the left. I think your grip adjustment is something that happens intuitively over time - but you have to get over the "it's too big" feeling. Chances are, if it feels big you may be resting your hand on it incorrectly. (My 11 year old with tiny hands seems to have no problem with it once I showed her how to adjust her grip). - I love that you can adjust the sensitivity, and that it takes just small movements to make large movements across the screen. I use 2 computer monitors, and it takes just a tiny wrist movement to move the cursor from one screen to another. This makes me so happy. - I have no issues with the scroll button, but I did adjust it to the fastest scroll ability possible. - the ONLY thing I do not like about this mouse is that I lost the ability to scroll left to right in excel, but I just customized the thumb buttons for that (I wish they were bigger). - I have thwacked the mouse off my desk a few times because I forget it's so tall. In summary, for me, the benefits of using this mouse FAR outweigh the negatives. Most of the negatives have been a matter of just getting used to something different in the beginning. It's just second nature now.

    Good with a mouse pad...

Nice on my bad wrists, but it does cause my wrist to hit the table and I get a small red sore. If you have a mouse pad with a wrist cushion, you'll be good. Before I had this one I would sometime use my left hand but with this one, it's impossible to use my left hand. It took me about 2 days to get used to it but now I like it. Love how I can just recharge it by plugging in my android's USB-C cord every 2-3 weeks versus replacing the battery.

I've been using this mouse for... almost ten years I think? I work at a computer for a living. I use the mouse primarily. I've managed to avoid CT syndrome with good ergonomics, and this is part of my setup. This will be my third time buying this mouse. PROs: Really does prevent wrist and hand issues Feels good in your hand Matte finish is nice Charge lasts forever CONs: -Matte finish eventually wears off -It's not a "buy it for life" product. They eventually stop working or the buttons break. -Needs third party software to map the extra buttons, -not a fan of Logitechs software (bloated and probably spies on you), I tend to prefer an open source option -Not the most precise mouse NOTES: Not suitable for gaming This might not work for people with small hands, logitech has another option for that

I recently got this mouse to replace my MX Master 3S as my home setup mouse. I didn’t want to switch, but the MX Vertical does a great job of offering most of the same mods and adjustments as the MX Master, and it’s super comfortable to use for long periods. I like the new hand position because it’s so comfortable, but it does take a bit of getting used to so you don’t feel like it’s going to slip out of your hand. The build quality is really good, but it’s light and it shows that it’s made of plastic. I think this mouse is perfect for anyone with hand or wrist problems because of an injury or ailment. It’s a great choice that’s a consistent price for Logitech peripherals. I would definitely recommend it and buy it again for myself.

I was experiencing severe wrist pain due to my carpal tunnel and I decided to invest in an ergonomic keyboard and mouse. I was very skeptical to try a vertical mouse. It took me a little while to get used to it and now I love it, my pain has decreased and there are days in a row I have no pain! The only reason for not giving it a 5 star is that I am a petite woman with smaller hands and the mouse is on the larger side and was uncomfortable to grasp. However I followed the suggestion of another reviewer and I purchased a mouse pad with a wrist support cushion and it that did the trick! The cushion part lifts your wrist up and helps me grasp the mouse much better. I am seriously considering purchasing a second one as I work at home on my days off from the the office and sometimes forget to drop it on my bag. I highly recommend this mouse!

I actually dont really understand why so many people hated this. Were they not expecting a titled mouse? Were they a hardcore gamer looking for zero latency ultra precise movement???? No idea. My job is almost entirely at my desk on a computer with a lot of clicking and mouse movement. Using a normal mouse, my wrist was literally killing me at the end of the day. Literally ever since I bought this thing, I never have that wrist pain. This mouse took all of 10-15 minutes of getting used to, and it works brilliantly. I dont notice any lag, I can charge it with a USB-C cable, and my wrist sits comfortably at a nice angle. In fact, Id even wish for a second version of this to be at an even steeper angle for better wrist comfort but I digress. Logitech is a trusted and reliable brand and their software works well. I like that I get a notification of low battery life on my computer and that the mouse doesnt just randomly die out on me. If youre getting this just for desk WORK as a job or as a student and youre not trying to game or anything, trust me. This WILL save your wrist that pain. This is my favorite mouse and I bought one for work and one for home because of it. If either break at some point, I most likely will get it again. ONE THING TO NOTE: One thing I only recently noticed is that if you plug a USB storage device into a USB port directly adjacent to the USB port where the dongle of this mouse is plugged into, you may see SIGNIFICANT lag until you unplug that storage USB. Its actually really strange. I dont blame the product itself cuz that might actually be a computer issue itself, but I have noticed that will happen. Once you unplug the USB storage device, it goes back to working 100% flawlessly. Or if you plug it somewhere else in a another port further away. Maybe its just my computer? And its only SOME usb storage devices not all. USB charging or other dongles dont have that effect. Anyway that was worth noting. Outside of that weird quirk, still 100% recommend because this saved me so much pain.

Picked this mouse up for the office with the intent it would help to reduce strain from long hours of work and was not disappointed. It was odd getting used to the mouse, whenever you click it sort of pushes the mouse a little but you begin to compensate for it in how hard you press and the position of your fingers overtime. The battery on it is fantastic, have had weeks where I don't even need to charge it. The feel is also very nice, soft rubber texture doesn't mean the mouse slides around, and it cleans up very nicely with a wet wipe to clean up any oils that build up on it. I only wish the scroll wheel was the infinite scroll that Logitech mice are known for, would have been fantastic for scrolling through code!

I should have got this a long time ago. Feels great and looks intelligently designed as well (e.g. smooth and clean appearance). My wrist is in pain from playing games, working at a desk, and playing the piano, so I’m using my wrists a lot. This mouse takes some getting used to but is worth it for people looking to ease up some of that pressure on the hand/wrist/arm etc. Has a usb wireless connection as well as a wire or even Bluetooth for multiple options. It is high quality materials and the clickers and scroll wheel feel satisfying . Definitely designed for bigger hands so keep that in mind.

Bought this mouse for my wife who was experiencing wrist pain using a trackpad and conventional wireless mouse. 1 month in, we haven't had to recharge it yet, so the first charge of the battery is holding strong, and she uses her computer a LOT. The wrist pain has been significantly relieved through using this mouse as well, so she is healing up. I am so thankful that ergonomic devices like this exist, plus the ability to program the bluetooth connection to more than one computer has been super useful for her too as she has been working off of two different laptops.

Good Ergo Mouse, but Pricey and Tips Over

I've been using this mouse as a primary mouse and it's very comfortable. The mouse looks nice, has good software support and features, but is pricey. Compatibility: It works well on both PC and Mac. I was using Logitech gaming mouse previously and those don't have drivers available on Mac OS 11 (Big Sur), so you didn't have the ability to customize the mouse, adjust the cursor speed, etc. Ergonomics: I got this because I have a sit and stand desk and when I'm standing, a regular mouse was a bit uncomfortable to have your hand move around flat after a while, but I found with the MX vertical, it's much more comfortable. Features: The backwards and forward buttons work well and I found the button on top used for controlling the 2 settings for mouse movement comes in handy. I found that sometimes slower mouse tracking speed is useful for tasks where you need more accuracy and having a button to slow down the cursor helps. The fact that the mouse is rechargeable using a USB-C interface is nice, but for $100, I probably would've expected a dock for that price. On and off switch is good for when you're not using it to save battery. Multi device support is nice to have, but the switch is at the bottom; would've been nice to have this at the top, especially if you use the mouse on multiple devices. What can be improved: $100 for a mouse is pricey. There are other ergo wireless mice out there for much cheaper, but they don't have the software support and elegant design that Logi has. The bottom can be weighted better. I tend to tip over the mouse when I'm reaching for things, then it hits buttons on my keyboard. If they added a little more weight to the base, I think that would prevent that from happening. Since it's light weight plastic, it doesn't make it feel like a $100 product. Not sure if a heavier mouse would impact the glide.

Fits well in my hand, pairs nicely with my laptop and desktop via dongle (I've been a user of Logitch wireless mice and keyboards for many years and am used to their dongle and software). Have not had a need to re-charge battery since initial charge but it has only been 1 month. Switching from one pc to another is a simple pressing of a button on bottom of mouse. Mouse moves easily and I find that my hand motion is less than with conventional mouse. Pointer speed (default rate) works for me but can be easily changed with press of a button on the top of the mouse. Overall an excellent mouse, just a bit too expensive.

Great comfortable mouse. Completely customizable and easy to use between 3 seperate sources. I use it seamlessly between my office and personal laptop. You can easily change the pointer speed as well to allow you to do detailed oriented work when needed. Also having a rechargeable battery using a usb c cord is great, no more wasted batteries. Premium product but it does cost a premium as well. Taking one star off as there are other vertical mice out there with similar qualities for a fraction of the price.
