Customers are saying

Customers admire the product's excellent ergonomics, which many find alleviate wrist pain, alongside its ease of use, legendary battery life, and reliable overall performance. Its lightweight design and Bluetooth connectivity are also frequently praised. However, some users note that its size might be too large for those with medium hands, and there are concerns about the scroll wheel's durability and the product's high price.

    Decent choice for OS X!

Eight hours and more daily of trackpad use at my desk created lot of wrist, arm and elbow pain. I researched alternatives and tried this design, as well as the MX Master 3 for Mac. I love the MXM3 for Mac in terms of integration with OS X, but it really only provides marginal relief in terms of pain. This more upright design allows my hand to stay in a much more natural "hand shake" position, which makes the biggest difference in terms of relief from pain. While the Logi Options integration with OS X is much better for the MXM3, you really can't beat the much better positioning of the Vertical. My only complaint really is the thumb rest should be wider. The top button is pretty uselessly positioned, but the ability to program the wheel as a "button" assigned to OS X Mission Control gives me the functionality of the trackpad.

Comfortable, excellent build quality. Seems to hold a charge well. I’d previously used another vertical mouse and like this one better as it is not as bulky in my hand.

I originally received one of these at work. At first I was a little unsure on its shape. It feels very different. After about fifteen minutes of use at work, I decided I had to have one at home so I ordered. This mouse and its ergonomics are absolutely incredible!

Very happy with this purchase. I was having issues with wrist fatigue using a standard optical mouse. I also have numbness as a result of neck issues so this really killed 2 birds with 1 stone. I have yet to dive into any of the more advanced features but it’s being used for typical work applications for 8+ hours a day with no issues. Very comfortable and took no time at all to get used to the vertical setup. It’s pricy but has been worth it for me.

    Regular scroll-wheel mouse tilted

A girl at work had one of these and I had an attraction/revulsion reaction to it. It just looked so weird I thought there was no way I would like it. I was wrong. If you place your hand on a regular scroll-wheel mouse this mouse feels EXACTLY like it except upright. It requires you to rotate your wrist to use it and the minute I rotated my wrist I could feel the pressure release where it usually lay across the edge of the table I work on. Logitech makes some great products and this is one. I have one at work and one at home now and don't see myself going back.

    Excellent for Carpal Tunnel mitigation

I've been using a mouse daily since 1988. Over the years, I've developed Carpal Tunnel syndrome in both hands. Fixed the left and I'm pending surgery on my mouse (right) hand. The mouse/keyboard has been the suspect of carpal tunnel for years now. This vertical mouse helps alleviate the pain and numbness. It moves the hand up and down (like you are shaking a hand) v. flat against that nerve. It's too expensive IMO because other than the design shell, it's a typical cheap mouse. Nothing else cool. No cool lights. No cool tech (laser???). I do believe this design will catch on with other manufacturers, but right now, Logi has it. For v.2, I'd recommend a bit more weight in the base. I'd only recommend this if you are worried about carpal tunnel. It serves no other purpose than to alleviate the pressure on the carpal nerve.

This mouse is the best! I’m on a computer at work all day. Using a regular mouse, I started to get “trigger finger” in my thumb so bad that I was sure I would have to have surgery to fix it. Long story short, I started using a cheap vertical mouse and the problen went away. I recently bought the Logitech mx vertical mouse and it was so much of and upgrade from the mouse I had; I went back and bought another one to use at home.

The universal adapter and being able to pair this with multiple devices is very convenient. The grip on the mouse is a bit awkward at first but comfortable once you get used to it. It’s a bit large for me, I have relatively small hands.

    Great option for vertical mouse

This is my first vertical mouse, and I'm really glad I went in this direction. The Bluetooth connection to my Macbook Air (and, previously, a 2015 Macbook Pro) when in clamshell mode is pretty good. I have charged it twice now since I bought it about three months ago. My only gripe, and it's a biggie, in my opinion, is no infinite scrolling. I had an Anywhere MX2 before, and I didn't realize how much I used the infinite scroll wheel until now. Smaller issues: I sometimes tip the mouse over when I move my hand back to the keyboard. This has happened less and less as I get more accustomed to a vertical mouse, but it still happens. I sometimes move the mouse slightly when I click. Again, I think this is just training. It usually happens because of a "lazy" grip on the mouse; it goes away once I adjust my grip. Overall, great vertical mouse. For the price, I kinda wish it had infinite scrolling.
