Customers are delighted by the ergonomic design, ease of use, and impressive battery life of the MX Vertical mouse. Many appreciate the Bluetooth connectivity and comfortable weight, although some find the size unsuitable and a few have reported issues with the scroll wheel. Good device, horrible software
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a piece of hardware this mouse is pretty good overall. It's optically fairly precise in its tracking, comfortable for all-day use, with lots of customization ability. Battery life is strong. About the biggest drawback I've found is because it's so light and tall, if you're clumsy with long monkey arms like I am, you're going to regularly send it flying as you move around on your desk or keyboard tray. Where this device suffers badly is Logitech's Options software, especially with Flow, which is singularly one of the worst, most annoying and unreliable pieces of code currently out there, and among the worst I've used with regularity in 40+ years of computer use. The idea behind it is good, but execution is atrocious and it's fraught with bugginess that makes transferring from seamlessly and easily form one PC to another maddeningly inconsistent and unreliable, to the point where you will probably be like me and start giving serious consideration to going old-school and having two sets of input devices. You'll find that you have to frequently reboot one or both machines actively in use (if using two), turn Flow off and on and try any number of other random fixes, along with praying to the tech gods, to get it to occasionally work. It's horrifically capricious in how it works. Logitech is seemingly monumentally tone deaf about fixing the software, despite years and a litany of complaints about how bad it is, and is either unwilling or unable to fix it. Forget about useful support from them as well their response in fixes are the same limited sets of suggestions that never solve the problem.

Posted .Hello nhmtnbkr! I'm so sorry to hear about all the issues you're having with Logitech Options. Unfortunately, there's really only one thing I can recommend doing. If support hasn't already recommended this to you, I would try uninstalling the software and reinstalling it. I will definitely be passing up the ladder all the issues you're having. In the mean time, keep an eye out for updates to the software. Once again, I apologize for the issues you're having. Thank you so much for the feedback and for shopping Logitech. - Maggie from Logitech

Comfortable at the cost of control
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse definitely relieves some stress on you arm while using it, but you’re forced to use more of your arm to move it rather than your wrist, so you loose some fine control if you wanted to do activities like game with it.

Posted .Thanks for the balanced review of the MX Vertical! The ergonomic design is great for reducing wrist strain, but as you mentioned, it can require more arm movement and may not be ideal for activities requiring precise control like gaming. We offer a variety of gaming mice designed for high performance!

Worth the money!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best mouse ever purchased and worth the money! I have been experiencing carpal tunnel and while the ergonomic keyboard helped, I noticed my arm was aggravated clicking the mouse (which is constantly!). Just the simple change of my arm being in a more natural position when clicking the mouse has helped the twinges of pain immensely. A little time getting used to it, but now like second nature to use.

Excellent quality and effectiveness

The very high quality of the optical reader makes this an excellent choice for graphics such as Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator.

Save your wrist and buy this mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this mouse. For anyone not used to using ergonomic mice, it may take some getting used to but totally worth it. A little jumpy when using via Bluetooth but plug in the dongle and it works flawlessly. I used a Microsoft Natural mouse for years and it started wearing out physically. Purchased a cheap ergonomic mouse and it was not so smooth. Shelled out the extra money for this one and was totally worth it.

Great Mouse.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took about a half a day to get used to the posture of this mouse as compared to a regular mouse. But once I got used to it, it has been great. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for more comfort when using a mouse.

Great mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mouse for arthritic hand. I love the customizable thumb buttons as I do a lot of copy/paste. While it is a USB charger and not a battery, the charge lasts a long time - week 5 of 40+ hours a week and it still has a good charge.

Comfortable and Fast
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It may look unusual, but this is the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. The tilt of my hand is more natural resting on the side of the wrist and I can move almost the entire width of a screen by just moving my hand a bit but keeping the wrist stationary. This is a winner

SHOCKED how much I love it
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Title says it all. Got it on a whim for office use at work and ended up loving it so much, I bought another for home use for gaming. Yeah it’s a wonky look, and I was weary too but trust me, you won’t be disappointed. Whether you want to game with it or just work it’s awesome. I hold a regular mouse and it just feels “off” now. Won’t use another style of mouse likely ever again.

Great ergonomic alternative
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great ergonomics -- gives my wrist a break when doing long projects on the computer. Find it works best when you use another large mouse -- MX Master or the 600 wired gaming series from Logitech -- and alternate out depending on the project. Does work better with larger hands. They have a smaller vertical mouse that is very similar.

Improved wrist!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical about using a vertical mouse at first because I never used one and watched several reviews about it in YouTube but boy was I glad that Logitech’s MX Vertical Mouse is my first and final vertical mouse. I have been using regular mices for the longest time but started to sometimes have very bad pain in my right wrist and purchased this to see if it helps alleviate the pain, and it did! Highly recommend!

Very high quality mouse. Pricey, but good.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, you get what you pay for. This device does have a definite premium feel. The weight and build quality are outstanding, and it does seem built to last, so maybe that will offset the cost as it definitely has the potential to outlast 2-3 cheaper mice. It's is very vertical, which is why I bought it. It was replacing an old Microsoft Ergonomic wireless mouse, and it took a little getting use to the new feel, this mouse is superior in every way.
