Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the ergonomic design, ease of use, and impressive battery life of the MX Vertical mouse. Many appreciate the Bluetooth connectivity and comfortable weight, although some find the size unsuitable and a few have reported issues with the scroll wheel. The high price point is also a recurring concern for some buyers. Positive feedback overwhelmingly focuses on the mouse's comfort and functionality.

As odd and awkward as it may look, this design is done very well by releasing any odd positioning of the wrist, eliminating to long term pain on my wrist during use.

No “infinite” scroll at this price??

Positive: My wrists feel better. Negatives: No “infinite” scroll or side scrolling is a deal breaker. Especially at this price. I am a software developer, for context. It is painful to try to scroll long code files (or any other long file). This feature is available on much cheaper mice from Logitech.

We are very sorry to hear that the MX Vertical mouse didn't meet your expectations, especially regarding the lack of infinite scroll and side scrolling features. We understand how important these features are, particularly for software developers. We will take your feedback into consideration to improve our products. Logitech

It definitely decreases the stress on your wrist but it also has some cons. There is no horizontal scroll, so if you work with worksheets this will be a pain. The mouse is tall so when you move your hand to place it on your keyboard, you will knock over the mouse and find yourself having to put it back in place multiple times throughout the day.

This feels way more natural to use than my mx2, it doesn't have many extra programmable buttons but I still prefer this to any previous mouse incarnations that I have used.

I bought this mouse as a replacement for another wireless vertical mouse. The size is perfect if you have a big right hand; mine are medium which makes this mouse a little bit big for my use. When in use, my thumb is not resting comfortably. Software does not have options as compared to other vertical mouse. I purchased this item on sale and would not recommend paying the listed price. I have gone back to my wireless Evoluent vertical mouse.

Cheaper versions of the vertical mouse available online, but the Logitech quality and the unifying receiver are strong selling points.

I purchased this after my Evoluent mouse broke (after years of satisfactory use) and wanted a replacement with Bluetooth capability so I could switch between my machines easily. This is a smaller mouse than the regular-sized Evoluent Vertical Mouse 4, so it took some adjustments but things worked fine until now. Then I started having a pain in my thumb as if I have sprain, and I realized it was the mouse. Due to its smaller form factor and the shape, I mostly used my thumb to move it around, and it took a toll after some months. (And my hands aren't particularly big or small.) So I decided to purchase the same Evoluent one I used to and saw the difference immediately, because with it, my thumb more or less rested on the device without to move or force anything and I used the rest of the hand (4 fingers) to move the mouse around. I tried doing the same with the Logitech one but that felt unnatural or even impossible. I am not sure if it's just me who grew the wrong habit but my few months of experience with this mouse didn't end well.
