After a lifespan of just two years, the mouse started to loose its button functionality and ceased to function and then became entirely unresponsive, making it impossible to use. I've had touch pads on controllers last longer than this. TBH I've noticed this pattern with logitech mice after the mx series. If this is their angle with parts becoming faulty just after a couple of years I'd rather find another brand.

We're truly sorry to hear your MX Vertical Advanced mouse became unresponsive and lost button functionality after just two years. We understand how frustrating it is when a product doesn't meet expected durability, especially given your past experiences. We apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment this has caused. Logitech made two ergo computer devices; this being one of them. The high price is worth the products purchase. The comfort of the mouse is unusual, at first, but doesn’t take much time to get used to using.

Comfortable enough to work all day. Only drawback is no way to store the USB dongle if I need to transport it.

I've used other vertical mouses before, but I felt uncomfortable paying 100 dollars for just a mouse.... but this mouse is worth its price. It is comfortable and smooth and meets all my needs.

Nice mouse, I ended up going with the Logitech m720 due to the hand placement. I tried it for a week but I couldn't get used to it.

I bought it to fight carpel tunnel... It changes the position of your hand while allowing complete movement of the cusor on the computer. Although not quite as good as I had hoped it still does help.

I purchased this item but returned it after a few days of trying to get used to it. I own all of Logitech's MX products and wanted to switch it up with this vertical mouse but I found it weirdly uncomfortable. Yes, it is formed so that it matches the natural positioning of our hand but that leaves the edge of your hand (pinky side) to either (a) float a bit as there's no hand rest or (b) be rubbing against the desk when you move your hand around. Something about this felt just a bit off. I would highly recommend trying this out in-store prior to purchasing.

The mouse workes mas intended and the Options software was slick. I ended up returning the mouse as it just wasn't as comfortable as the vertical mouse it was intended to replace. That will vary from person to person and greatly depends on hand size.

Left-click issue after a year and a half

Definitely the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. After 18 months though, the left mouse button is starting to act up, sometimes a single-click is interpreted as a double-click. I'm just surprised it's happening at only 18 months.

ergonomically this is a great idea and will alleviate some wrist issues but for long periods of time it is not comfortable to use. which is probably a good thing as you're forced to take a break and give your wrist a rest.

Ive been using this off and on comparing another Logitech MX mouse for a few weeks now and I'm still trying to figure out HOW you're supposed to hold this mouse at such a . . . "unique" angle. I like the forward / backward buttons and it scrolls well, however I'm sometimes L clicking when I mean to R click due to the way it's angled. I'm also finding it strains my forearm muscles within a couple hours. I'm trying a couple little wrist pads that help a little with support. I have only a few days left to make a decision to keep or return... :-(

Great mouse amd great features, but i feel as though i can find a very similar mouse at half the cost of this mouse. My desk height didnt allow me to have proper ergonomics with the exact angle of the mouse.

Most people find the position of this mouse odd. I'm a drummer in a few bands and this mouse keeps my hands and wrist in their "proper" position. I now find "normal" mice odd! Love this thing!!

Love the versatility and when paired with the mx keys is a match made in tech heaven. Love how I'm able to pair with multiple computers, laptops without the use of kvm switch or having to disconnect/connect wireless adapter

Super comfortable and natural hand position. Thought it would be awkward but wanted to give it a try. I am so glad I bought this mouse. I'll never go back to an old school horizontal mouse again.

I tried this before switching to their other new mouse. I had used trackpads for 12 years, and the battery had started failing, and it was time to move along as they no longer make the trackpads. This was just awkward in every respect. First, for anyone used to a trackpad or a mouse, this is so much taller that every time you move your hand from the keyboard back to the mouse, you end up hitting it since you're not used to having to lift your hand so high. It's just uncomfortable in the hands, awkward to use, button presses, everything.
