I really like this keyboard/case easy to install, I like the quit soft keys, I unfortunately had to put it to the drop test twice thanks to my 5 year old nephew dropping my ipad, but it work amazing no damage to my ipad or the keyboard/case, I like the color. Sturdy ,thin & nice weight wise not heavy like I pictured it to be. It has a hidden fold out stand to old your screen up while typing, watching movies hands free.I no cons

This case is really cool and looks really sleek and durable. The case is great at protecting your iPad when it closed, I've dropped mine twice off my bed about 2' off the ground onto the carpet and once onto the hard kitchen floor, it's yet to crack or break. The only issue with this case I have is the price is pretty high, but if you want good fall protection you'll usually end up paying a high price. Overall I'd recommend it if you have to the budget for it.

Disclaimer - I received this product in exchange for my fair and unbiased review. TL;DR - The Logitech Rugged Folio Keyboard Case for the 7th generation iPad lives up to its name. Tough, stylish and both comfortable and easy to use. it's one of those things I'll admit is worth its price. If I didn't receive this for free, I would buy this case based on how I feel about it overall, even with it's added weight. Especially because after putting my new iPad into it, I (accidentally) dropped everything onto a concrete floor and you wouldn't be able to tell that it got dropped at all. Unboxing, first impressions, and setup: When Logitech puts their things in boxes, they tend to do the packaging as well as Apple does. Slide the inner box from its outer cover and you have the Rugged Folio Keyboard Cover out. The first thing you'll notice is the case's mass. Once your iPad is in it, the entire setup has some heft. Not necessarily a bad thing, but an iPad with this case weighs noticeably more than the large iPad Pro without a case. You'll also notice that the case itself isn't bulky, so it doesn't really add too much to the size of the iPad outside of thickness when closed or when the keyboard is folded behind the iPad. Open the kickstand, as it makes inserting the iPad much easier when the case is slightly propped up. Put your iPad into it, making sure to line up the camera, headphone jack, power button, and Smart Keyboard Connector to their appropriate spots. It takes a little effort to get the iPad in, but once it is, it's secure and a bit of a pain to remove - not that you'd want to. You don't have to do anything to pair the keyboard, as it's connected directly to the iPad at that point. Open Notes, Pages, Word, Google Docs, or any other app that you bought the keyboard to use with and you're off. Some people would call that "magic", but I call it "wired connections beat wireless connections". If you have an Apple Pencil, Logitech Crayon, or other stylus, you'll see a small slot in the magnetic closure to store that stylus. After the first few times you put your stylus in there, it gets easy. The exterior of the case is a tough nylon. It's nice, and the parts that fold blend in nicely with the parts that don't. The interior of the case is a soft-touch rubber, which is also nice and will save your iPad from scratches to the sides and back. Usage: So I'm usually not a a fan of rubberized keyboard or membrane key switches. This keyboard feels like a real keyboard though, and typing "Sphinx of black quartz, judge my vow" and "The quick red fox jumps over the lazy brown dog" feel natural. Key travel is similar to many laptops, and key press effort isn't overkill. It's also near silent. Using the Smart Keyboard Connector is an added bonus, as it just works like you plugged a keyboard into your computer. The kickstand is simple to use and allows you to set angles good for working on a desk or table or viewing in bed, on a couch, or on the floor. It also folds completely back into the stand. One bonus is on the magnetic closure which can put your iPad to sleep when you close the case up. The port opening for headphones won't block most headphone cables with straight connectors, and the port opening for the lightning connector won't block most larger lighting connectors on cables or the Square credit card reader from connecting to the iPad. The only thing that gets tedious is holding the iPad inside of this case for longer periods of time. This case is rather hefty so you will start to feel it after a while. Not a concern for my usage case, however, as the weight doesn't bother me and my kid normally rests the iPad on his lap during usage. All in all, this is a terrific case. Good protection from bumps and drops, a great fit for the iPad and a keyboard that's actually nice to type on. Well done, Logitech.

I have two iPads - one for home use and one for work. I wanted to get the rugged version of the Logitech folio for my work iPad as I use it a lot and it tends to get banged up. This case is incredibly sturdy and durable. The keyboard aspect of the folio works just like the traditional versions of the Logitech products for iPad. Connecting to my iPad was very fast and intuitive. My coworkers and business partners have often commented on the case. They wanted to know who made it and at least two of my colleagues have gone out and purchased one for their own use. This is a great product and a very good value for the price.

I’ve been spending some time with my new case and overall it’s very nice, like the description says it’s rugged meaning heavy duty. It’ll protect your iPad from all angles including the screen. The included keyboard connects directly to your iPad 7th generation and no batteries are needed or charging is needed. Everything about this case including the keyboard has a premium feel to it. The only reason somebody would not like this case is if they wanted something thinner and not as rugged, so that’s personal preference and depends on what you use your iPad for I guess.

The Logitech Rugged Folio Keyboard case for the iPad 7th Gen 2019 model fits like a glove. It seems very durable and turns your iPad into a touch screen laptop. I think the only drawback is that it does drain the battery a little quicker. Once installed, it automatically connects and is usable. Basically it's plug and play. Magnetic clasps and various iPad angle viewing makes it versatile. Only thing, that takes a little used to is that the iPad doesn't have a mouse cursor, so you still have to touch points where you want to type, but that is not fault of the Logitech Folio keyboard. Overall it does what it is supposed to do. Protects the iPad and provide typing keyboard with various viewing angles.

I am impressed with the folio keyboard case. I have been using this for a few months. Easy to pair, adds weight and thickness. Keyboard reacts quickly. I do find with nails it’s a little hard to type as fast on the keyboard. Otherwise the keyboard works fine. I don’t find myself using this case as much as when I first got it. It was nice to use if I was typing something like an email. But general browsing or playing games I find myself taking the case off to use my iPad as normal. I definitely think for a student or someone who will constantly need to type than this folio case is great, especially for on the go. But regular browsing and game use, most likely not going use it as much.

The title of my review really sums up my feelings about this most excellent keyboard case. I like to work on firearm and truck projects in my garage and hate bringing my nice Macbook Pro out there from inside the house to be exposed to grease and all other sorts of nastiness. Between this case, an iPad 7th gen, and a good screen protector, you have almost all of the utility and go-anywhere appeal of a laptop at a price level that consists of laptops that are going to be bulkier and slower than the total sum of this setup. Plus, if I mess up the keyboard or case with an oil spill or the like while I am watching a tutorial video, I am only out a $140 case instead of having to replace a whole laptop! This keyboard case is exactly what I expect of Logitech products generally: stylish, well-built, easy to setup and use, and tough enough to handle a little neglect or abuse once in a while. This keyboard case does not disappoint. The typing experience on it is awesome, the keystrokes being snappy and responsive and the keyboard setup itself not being overly cramped; a problem on keyboards this size in general. They even managed to make the wrist rest portion of the keyboard surface comfortable and accommodating to typing on flat surfaces like elevated kitchen counters and coffee shop bars. Overall, I cannot recommend this keyboard case enough. If you want to use your iPad like a laptop in any capacity at all and ESPECIALLY in dirty or outdoor conditions, this is a purchase from a preventative and enjoyment level you can't afford not to make. I've been using this with my 7th Gen iPad that I got over Black Friday and it's really just perfect. Can't get any better. The kickstand is great, the overall look and feel is nice as a consumer and wanting something that looks nice but not overly bulky. This makes me feel like I have a mini laptop. It's like a Microsoft Surface tablet, but better, in my opinion.

Very easy to set up! Love using it. Lightweright and gray color is wonderful.

This case is good, and it could be better if it had a screen protector. Other than that it was super easy to set up and use, it’s very versatile. I can honestly say that I am impressed.

The case looks good when it's closed, when you open it and use the keyboard, looks kind of strange, because the size if the iPad screen and the keyboard. When using the keyboard I locked the screen so many times, this is because the key to lock the scree is right above the delete key. This is the second reason why i gave it 3 stars, other than that is a good case, robust case!

Purchased as a Christmas present for my grandson. He absolutely loved it.

Very slick and soft to the touch. Responsive to the keys. The only problem is the cover, the fabric is frail, it’s coming apart in the seams.

Love how sturdy this cover is. Great to have the keyboard on my ipad.

This case/keyboard works perfectly, only complaint I have is that I feel like the flap is not as”rugged” or heavy duty, it’s on the thin side in my opinion. Also the material on case gets stained easily. Keyboard works perfectly though.
