Mighty Mouse

I’ve always used a Logitech mouse with my computers. This model is perfect with Bluetooth to connect it made the best choice. Took only minutes to set up and works great. I highly recommend it.

Logitech Signature M550 Wireless Mouse

I use the mouse via built-in Bluetooth with my main laptop. I also use it with the supplied dongle with an older laptop that doesn't have Bluetooth built-in. I turn off the mouse and then back on. Then press the link button to go back and forth. Of course with the other laptop turned off. The single AA battery lasts a long time. Normally I don't turn it off and just let it go sleep. In Windows I disabled the Logitech startup app. Unless you need the special features set up. Note that this type mouse comes in a larger size - M650.

Portable, light, quiet

It’s not silent but it is quiet, and I like the grooves on the sides for gripping. I typically like a heavier mouse, but since the light weight makes it more portable I’m not complaining. A slight con: It uses a single AA battery, which means I am going to want to buy rechargeable AAs. However, I haven’t had to change the battery yet, so it may last awhile. There’s a switch on the bottom to turn it off when not in use.

The mouse is very responsive and hooked up effortlessly to my MacBook Pro.
