You've just read the 15 other mouse reviews that I've done --- each of which die at the hands of my beagle, Banjo. It's not like I'm feeding the dog mice --- it just happens. You know how it is - you're working late at night, and suddenly you get 'a hankerin'. Pretty soon there is a big bag of corn chips next to your desk, followed by various other snacks that your cardiologist has warned you about, and probably some liquor, too. Needless to say, the flavor makes its way from your hand to your mouse, and from your mouse to the dog. Of course I try to put the mouse away before I go to bed, but you only have to forget one time and then... well, you wake up in the morning walking through a debris field of gnarled plastic and little circuit boards. In all - this is a decent mouse --- nothing fancy -- but it pales in comparison to the Triathalon and Marathon versions. Remember, always get the extended protection plan.

I'm having a hard time adjusting to it compared to my previous mouse which would not pair to my new MacBook Pro. No instructions for any of the buttons. I lean toward not recommending this product but in time I could potentially change my mind.

Ok, but not for me

The M650 is too "light" in weight and the scroll wheel does not have a positive click to it. Sometimes you have to scroll aggressively to get it to "wake up" and actually advance/scroll. Side buttons ar a little smaller than the M510.. Wont buy again, sorry..

You can graze them with a feather and they change your web change instantly, whether moving forward or back. It has gotten so annoying with that feature. The only way to disable it is to download the App. Why do you have to have an app to disable that??? We refuse to download the app to disable that feature, you should be able to do it on the mouse itself. Logitech, you should have more of these types of mouse (soft grip on the sides, not just the plastic textured sides) without those annoying buttons on the sides.

The build of the mouse is for those that like higher grips. The side buttons is a bit out of reach and you would have to hold the mouse a bit higher up in order to get full utility. The program that is pairs with does not have DPI settings.

The scroll wheel, side to side action does not exsist here. That is a big miss. The mouse clicks (left and right buttons) are silent which is nice, but the feedback is a bit too light since there is no noise, I need to know if I've clicked. Other than the missing side to side action of the scroll wheel, it's on par with what I've come to expect from Logi.

Frustrating and Irritating

I do like the plug and play capabilities. But there is no way to disable or not inadvertently hit the back button. There is no driver or software with this. The forward button is a little more avoidable but not much. This occurs frequently (but more so on newer so-called ambidextrous mice). It renders an otherwise good mouse a hunk of frustrating, overpriced garbage. Why can't Logitech give us better options for the "signature" mouse? For what they're charging, I would expect more flexibility.
