I am a high school teacher who does frequent PowerPoint presentations. This remote is easy to set up and is very user friendly. I use it everyday and it ranks as the best presenter I have e ever used.

Having tried a variety of laser pointer w/ remote buttons, I ended up using this for my presentations. The reliability of laser pointers isn't great on modern TVs and turning to look at the display isn't the best ergonomics or presentation style. This lets your look forward (at a laptop display or something) and talk to the audience. It does require Logitech's software and there is a mild lag and learning curve to use this (more like a mouse that is gesture controlled than a pointer). I set the circle mode to a big red dot to look like a laser pointer and cycle to highlight mode half the time.

Not sure if the price point can justify an initial purchase, but if you want to impress, this is the remote for you. The highlight feature of being able to highlight a specific area while darkening the rest of the screen is pretty nice. It's a great tool with a very specific skill set that excels at what it does but you have to consider how often you'll use this.

I had been looking everywhere for a powerpoint remote that put the laser pointer "on the computer" instead of physically lighting up a screen. (Very important when presenting online) So many remotes take hours to get comfortable with how they work and to learn the quirks but not this one. It was so easy after going through the intro steps that I was comfortable with using it in front of a live audience just minutes after setting it up!!! Highly recommended.

This is a great presentation clicker. I love that it is rechargeable. I only gave it 4 stars because there is no laser pointer. worjs with both power point and keynote and has pretty decent range. A bit pricey, though.

This presenter is so simple to use and the range is fantastic. No more embarrassing glitches when I give a presentation. Well worth the extra money.

I have been really happy with the clicker so far. It makes sense for high stake presentations. It is pretty much fool proof.

If you present often, this is worth purchasing. If only occasionally, then you are still good with a cheaper remote.

I primarily use this when doing hybrid presentations because my online audience can see my pointer. This also works great if you present on screens (LED big screens) where a traditional laser pointer would not work.
